I wish I could give this place a higher rating, but it seemed so old and run down and I questioned how fresh the chocolates were. They have a pretty good selection of chocolates, but it wasnt amazing, just okay. The store could use a good cleaning and even a makeover. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I feel they should invest a little more into the store. Maybe even serving fresher chocolates.

I absolutely love this place! Everytime we are in Galveston I always make a stop there which is two or three times a month. I love to go in there and get a caramel apple each one for myself and for my husband cuz we both like different things. The toffee the truffles the dog treats all of the candy is always fresh when weve ever been there. .....I love how the place is got that old antique nostalgic feeling to it when you go inside. And I absolutely love the bear sitting outside. I have pictures of my kids when they were little and a couple of their kids now with it believe it or not. If you have not been you really need to stop in when you are in Galveston. I have my husband drop me off he makes the block a couple of times and then he picked me back up. LOL

Pro tip: We love the Pecan & Chocolate Apple, so tasty but kinda expensive. We had them sliced so we can share it among few friends.This is an old school chocolate shop. Wish they update the decorations and the interior space, it feels old, tired and not in a charming way. I hope their business will pick up after COVID-19 and will have the opportunities to fix up this place for the next season.

The ice cream and fudge were delicious. What I really loved was the details in the store decor. Brought the feel of a Saturday night in Galveston back in the early 1900s.

Customer service was excellent. The German chocolate candied apple was amazing. My oldest got the chocolate covered oreos and my youngest got the marshmallow on a stick. They both loved their treats. My husband also enjoyed his chocolate covered twinkle!

Awesome chocolates. Perfect for just a dessert or for the perfect gift.

Cinnamon pie apple/Rock Road apple is why I love this place. You absolutely must have one the next time you visit Galveston. 😎

Great espresso bar. Amazing ice cream, shakes, and malts.And chocolate as far as the eye can see, fresh made. And every kind of chocolate you can imagine. Love this place!Will be back again soon!

Love the smores and sea salt dark chocolate caramels!!! All you Karens need to quit complaining about the old building!! Thats what makes it appealing is the history of the place! If you want a nice new building go to the city for some chocolates

Got two scoops of blue bell ice cream and a caramel apple with peanuts. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Fast service and delicious apples!

Was just walking around the historic district and ran into this place. Being a chocolate lover I had to try it out. The ice cream I tried was milk chocolate flavored. There was 2 scoops in the cone and that was more than plenty. They also have variety of chocolate flavored sweets. The satff is very friendly too. I recommend this spot.

Another candy shop down the road was packed, so we thought we would check this one out. Very glad we did. Small but nice selection of ice cream, I had a great chocolate dipped cheesecake. Im going back again for a candied apple, large selection and looks amazing. Cant wait to go back.

The rocky road apples are to die for. This wasn’t a place that others recommended when I asked where to visit in Galveston. Not that people had and issue with it, they just didn’t mention it to visit. This was one of our favorite stops. We loved the apples so much that some in our group went back the next day and got us more! Must visit and get sweets.

I stopped in to take a look and ended up leaving with a while bag of goodies. They have a great selection of by the piece chocolates in their display cases as well as a huge assortment of caramel / chocolate apples. They also have some chocolate bars from their own brand. If you like chocolate, dont pass this by!

I will not go back rude employees! I had my mask on like is required my daughter which has downsyndrome took her mask off I took mine off because she needs to see my lips to explain to her it was a split second to employees yelled at me. I was so upset so embarrassed . Please do not yell accross the room at people we were following the rules I have a child with special needs I was explaining to her about her mask. I will not go back.

This place is very nice and comfortable. Very clean and smells clean. I have ocean view. It has microwave, fridge, and single serve coffee maker. Towels are plentiful and white as snow. The price is also fine. I will return.

When we come to galveston island we always try to stop here and bring apples and strawberries back to our RV for a snack later. never dissapointed here.

Ice cream is good, and chocolate truffles are delicious. Place is small and looks good, but no ramps for strollers or wheel chairs.Customer service is ok.And be prepared to memorize everything you might want to buy, because you have to tell the person at the register each item, flavor and amount. So you could take your time to memorize or write it down in a piece of paper.

There are a good variety of chocolates and other confections at Rocky Mountain. We bought a variety of items here and enjoyed them ALL.If you like bitter, try the chocolate dipped orange peels.If you prefer sweet, share a covered apple with a friend.

Went for sugar-free chocolates. They had a tremendous selection, including a box of them which I bought for my dad who is a diabetic. The people in front of me got a hot chocolate. And their caramel apples look divine!

If you like chocolate you will love this place. The chocolate covered apples looked amazing. I tried the chocolate covered twinkies and strawberries. You have to love chocolate to finish the whole thing.

Its a chocolate factory...not much too it besides lots and lots of chocolate! Prices were fair for what it was...cant say much to that. Lots of typical choices. If youve been to one RMCF, you wont be amazed or disappointed...same thing as the others.

My family and I love coming here for a treat! I do wish theyd bring back the original marshmallow pop though, with the m&ms instead of the sprinkles. Sure it can be pricey, but you get what you pay for here!

Everything here looks delicious, but when I asked for a Caramel apple, instead of one from the case, the girl was going to give me one that was sitting out. There were flys on it.. so I asked for one with no flys.The rest of the candy we bought was delicious.

This place only caters to tourists, so if your are a visitor go ahead and go in I guarantee they will treat you like royalty. If youre a local, dont bother because they practically spit in your face in favor of the tourists. Its a shame, I used to like this place.

All their products are excessively sweet. One bom bom has enough sugar in it to feed a battalion. It’s overwhelming. Won’t come back.Better places to try for chocolate in Houston include Cacao and Cardamom, and Araya Artisanal Chocolates.

We always make time to stop here whenever my family is in the Galveston area. They have wonderful treats and a large selection. They could use a bit more options for those with dietary concerns, but that wont stop me from taking my kids there!
