Friendly staff. Good selection of yarns

I went to a crochet class. Teacher was very attentive to all the students so no one was left behind. Also, covid-19 protocols were in place. She even gave us 15 minutes extra instruction. The store has a nice selection of yarns, tools, kits and other craft accessories.

I LOVE this locally owned yarn shop! It’s twisted!! Hahaha but seriously. I get great help here every time and the selection is beautiful.

I adore this store! Always friendly and knowledgeable service, and I love the character of the shop. This is my go-to place for natural fibers. I really love the shifting stock, its nice to see new stuff so often. This place is great for people just getting into fiber art as well as long time crafters.

I was looking for a fiber store and when I searched, this store came up and it advertised fiber on their website. They didnt have fiber that was ready for spinning, but they do have some beautiful yarn. It was a cute store.

Very high end yarn, great selection and very unique yarn patterns. It seemed like they offer workshops and allow people to work on their projects inside the store. Parking lot is a little difficult to maneuver.

I love our local yarn shop! The space is gorgeous and the yarn selection is lovely. There is absolutely no subsitute for shopping for yarn in person.

A few months ago, I ended up here for some help with a beautiful Ravelry project I had found. Even after I had, shamefully, made it clear that most of TEs yarns were outside of my big box craft store budget, I still received the best and most sincere help I could expect. I highly recommend if youre a new crafter just starting out or just need a second set of eyes to look at a project.

I love shopping there! So much high end yarn and notions! I also took a class in sock knitting with Cindy! She’s very nice and has tons of patience!! I will definitely take classes again!!

It is the only yarn shop in the Treasure Valley. It specializes in quality yarns and materials, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There is always a display of fiber materials from the Pacific Northwest. All are welcome, whether purchasing or sharing the table to knit or crochet.

Great stores with quality yarns. You pay for quality. Whether you need yarn or help with a pattern this is a great resource. Staff is friendly and helpful. As our only yarn store (Jan., 2018) in Boise/Meridian, it is good to patronize.

I went in this morning because a project I had just finished knitting got chewed on by cats! I asked if there was any hope for it and one of the sweet ladies there fixed it for me! The yarn there is fabulous! The ladies who work there are wonderfully helpful!

HOLY COW! Within just 5 minutes of talking to Jessica, you can tell that she not only knows her sewing and knitting but shes an awesome human being. There are very few places in this day and age that you can visit and buy yarn without needing to give your phone number, address, and birthday (yup they are tracking you). Support a local yarn shop and just be a decent human being, this country is already going to the you know what .... why lose out on talking to a passionate person who cares about knitting? 100 out of 5 stars, this is a must go to yarn store ... and honestly, the last yarn store youll ever need if you live in Boise.

Its a gorgeous shop, with open space, amazingly creative use of metallurgy (it used to be a metal working shop), and great yarn. They have local stuff and really lovely yarn from all over the place. The staff was really nice, and I definitely need to get back there ASAP. Its so great.

The beautiful high quality yarn is outstanding. Cute artist cards available and a very knowledgeable woman to help you with questions. Great shop if you like soft and beautiful sweaters or scarves!!

Pros: Nice shop...clean and attractive with good variety of desirable yarns. Cons: Higher prices compared to same brands online. Personnel arent very friendly...and are beginning knitters lacking expertise to teach or help with intermediate to advanced projects.

Really nice and inviting atmosphere. Great staff who are willing to help with anything, and who offer to special order items if not in stock. Highly recommend this shop. They have quite a following, and knit-nights are really fun :)

I went in to get some instructions on how to sew together and have done that I had made the Instruction was very good. I will be going back for more help as needed.

This is my new favorite place. I had no idea what I was doing when I came in to buy yarn. They walked me through many different ideas for my project. I am looking forward to visiting again.

I visited on this store for the first time on 11-24-12. I came out to support small business Saturday as well as to spend my Groupon I had purchased previously. This was by far one of the most frustrating experiences Ive had in a specialty yarn store. First of all, no one bothered to even greet me. Didnt seem too difficult, considering there was only one other shopper looking around when I arrived and saying hello and welcome is not a difficult thing. Next, being that it was after Thanksgiving, they were running a 20% off sale. Great! Until they applied my coupon before the discount. Not many businesses, if any, do this. Had the discount been applied before coupon, I would have been under what I was allowed to spend, and would have spent more on yarn for a project. I then asked if they could wind my yarn for me, but was told no, not on a sale day and that I could come back sometime next week. Ive seen yarn wound before, and its really not a difficult or time consuming task. Not to mention, on a sale day, if you are expecting higher volumes of business, maybe staff appropriately because we the consumers are going to want it wound. If there is a line to get it wound? Well wait!!! From what I could tell while I was there, there was at least 2 to 3 employees working. Only one on the register while the other two sat at the table and knitted. Not so great customer service when there are people that come in the store that you dont greet and that ask for their yarn to be wound as well. It was equally as distracting that one of the three was back and forth between the table and the back room eating food!! Horrible experience! I completely will NEVER shop here again or recommend it to anyone. Such a shame too because there arent a lot of specialty yarn stores in the Boise area, and the ones I have been too have never treated me so poorly.

Service was efficient and the employee was so friendly and kind. She solved my issue with an order, I live a 129 miles from the Boise area having no yarn shop in our town I found the Twisted Ewe to be a find and wonderful yarn.

The place is calming and has a welcome home feel to it. When youre there youre you feel like part of a family and everyone is there to help answer questions.
