I was in need of a little cash, so my husband took my bracelet which only got $50. For, tge charms on there everyone of them had a meaning, went back to get it. It was NO where to be found. In exchange I got a knock off MK purse and a bracelet with two charms. How can a place that’s been in business so long loose something that means the world to them. I stop in every now and then, but NOPE nothing. I’ll never be able to replace something that was so dear to me.

I responded to a post advertising a unique cymbal for the drum set that I am building.Rebuilding a drum set I had 25 years ago and now all of the cymbals are are discontinued or considered vintage or classic, thus an exponentially higher cost.The site claims that they do shipping, but the man said that certain things they dont ship and after a brief discussion and he told me he would ship it to me. As a matter of fact I called every single mail and parcel delivery place within 10 mi of his store to make sure they had the proper box and prepaid for the box and padding. I then transferred the money to them via PayPal, THEN Adumb Lame told me that he sold it to someone else. While he did credit my money back to my account, I have a 23-year dream that keeps enduring setbacks that are horribly inconvenient and disheartening. I dont ask a lot in life and I even sent the man 11 more dollars then he wanted just so it was an even number and he had to sting me almost as if on purpose.Us as musicians carry a family feel to our interactions with music and gear and this was anything but.Hes probably the same type of guy that stands on the edge of a mosh pit and hits the little kids when theyre not looking....and I bet hes got nothing to say in response, even knowing what such a simple purchase meant to one in my position.It was his intent to either sell to a friend or chase immediate cash...A Deal is a Deal (and he broke it) (SO, IT WAS HIS INTENT)

Im a very avid coin/silver/gold collector and garden city pawn not only has the best selection of gard to find items,theyre prices cant be beat!and when selling to them they pay top dollar far higher than any other pawn shop,they even have all the coins shops within a 2 hour drive beat with prices and pay outs!only place Ill do business and 1st place I recommend to anyone

I had originally rated Garden City Pawn five stars, however I have to retract my rating. Due to the fact that the last time I visited this business, I was taken advantage of and I am very upset about it. The main reason I loved this place was because they were not like any other establishment of this kind, they treated me with respect, they were polite, and they never tried to low ball me by the fact that Im a young woman, who might not know the true value of certain items. I brought in a brand new air compressor, still in the box. It was just purchased by my fiance for a project, that he decided he wasnt going to do. A month and a half before I brought it to Garden City Pawn, he paid $170.00 for it. Anyways, this man that I never dealt with there, blatantly refused to go over $35, giving me some excuse that was a flat out lie. My fiance was very upset, as well as myself. I will NEVER visit this establishment again, neither will he. Its really such a let down, because I sold several things to them and they ALWAYS gave me a reasonable price and never tried to take advantage in any way, and always so friendly andaccommodating.

The customer service was at an all time low. I️ was looking to sell a high end pair of shoes to this establishment for a low price, however the individual who I️ was texting about the quote was very uninterested/difficult to work with and decided to pass to the shoes regardless of me agreeing to their extremely low offer. I’ll take my business elsewhere but hopefully they work on their customer service for the sake of the business’s longevity

Everyone on staff smiled and greeted me when I arrived. Marcus took time to explain the breakdown of the value of gold in different karat weights when I asked. The store was clean and the aisles look ADA compliant (plenty of space to roam and browse). It was a very positive experience.

Marcus is the man. Him and his staff were so friendly and helpful even though I came in 20 minutes before closing. They never rushed me and helped me find what I had been looking for all that day. They also have a surprisingly nice selection of designer shoes and bags. I would recommend these guys any day

He showed me how to download their app, which makes it easy to pay online and keep your loan current. Just in case you are not able to pay your interest in person. You can even get an extension for an additional 90 days. Just by paying the interest on your item. Dont walk run to Garden City Pawn and ask for Marcus. Wow! Place is more like a boutique compared to other pawn shops I’ve been in. Nice and clean too. I traded in some gold teeth I inherited for a Gucci handbag! Great place for unique gifts or tools, electronics and laptops. Check there before buying new. Friendly staff that came up in that area too.

They are consistent with the way they great each person entering their store, everyone has their personal undivided attention. They are extremely knowledgeable and take great care of your property. Unfortunately i had to sell some of my gold because my truck repair was “astronomical !”I had called around to get some quotes and was very disheartened . Several jewelers would only quote me 1/2 value of my gold.I was reluctant at first to call a pawn shop for fear of worse quotes ? But to my utter surpriseI was quoted a very fair price ! I was shocked !They treated me respectfully and warmly . And they did not make a lot of profit from my gold.Beyond a doubt i will not consider going anywhere else again if i have to sell anymore precious medals. My experience was so good that i bought a “like new” laptop computer while i was there. Another great bargain. I highly recommend GARDEN CITY PAWN for selling ir buying . A 5 STAR COMPANY !!

Don’t waste your time with this place! THEY contacted ME on the letgo app. Offerd to buy a Louis Vuitton bag I had for sale. The guy offers me a fair price, so I drive an hour to the shop to complete the deal. The terribly rude and unprofessional staff refuse my item. All because the dumb computer program wasn’t working and they were to uneducated to authentic my item on there own. May I add I was not the only unhappy customer walking out the door while I was there.
