Losing one of your senses is a major setback. In my case, this dark cloud has formed an extremely bright silver lining. House of Hearing. I won’t bore you with all the cliches. Bottom line. Staff, second to None. Treatment, always like you are the only one there. Questions welcomed, and answered as well. Problems occur at home. Call them! If you leave a message in the off hours, they actually call you back promptly! Ok, so what’s the downside you ask? The office is set back from the street amongst other buildings. I’m at the age where I get lost sometimes. Now I just look for the cellular towers. Problem fixed. My dark cloud has turned light gray since discovering House of Hearing.

I went to House of Hearing in Boise. The staff was very pleasant and professional. I have had hearing tests before, but nothing as quite as extensive as HOH. I also really appreciated the extended demo of a hearing aid set. Kelly was very helpful in demonstrating how use them and how to take advantage of the technology available with them. It was a great opportunity for me to experience using them before considering a purchase.

This is one of the last professional places where they still have the human touch. When I went to this place, I didn’t feel like a “customer”, I was “somebody” with a history and a need of professional help, the staff was very kind and the audiologist was amazing, he took his time to check my ears, did a few tests and a hearing test while talking to me about life in general.People, we need to rescue that behavior and stop seeing people just like customers in the healthcare field.

We live in McCall and when we need service on a hearing aid we have to get it done when we have a reason to be in Boise. Last week I had a hearing aid quit working so I took it in to House of Hearing when I went to Boise for an another appointment. They immediately took the hearing aids in, cleaned them, put on new parts as needed and handed them back in a matter of minutes. They now work great. That is exceptional service. Thanks.

I had a great experience with the House of Hearing Audiology Clinic! They were able to get me in asap, the staff was friendly and responsive. It is was obvious Matt was very knowledgeable with lots of experience which made me feel comfortable. The total charge for my visit was similar to my co-pay for my medical insurance, cost was very reasonable compared to other clinics I have been to for similar work.

I have been going to the House of Hearing at least since 2011. They clean the wax from my ears for a small fee and perform free hearing tests. Dr Diller is a great doctor and fun to visit. If you have to have these services performed then enjoy your time.

My ears were so plugged that I felt as though I wouldn’t need ear protection at the gun range. I called in and got an appointment for the next day. I was in and out in 8 minutes and now I can hear great! I would highly recommend House of Hearing to anyone with severely plugged ears.

Very professional office. I required a thorough audiology exam for a pre-employment with the Federal Government. This required 5 specific specialized tests which they were able to provide. I have had many hearing tests in the past and I will say this was my most pleasant experience and I would highly recommend them if you require any hearing testing.

Yesterday, my mother had an issue with her hearing aid; thought it simply needed a new battery, but that wasnt the problem. Ran down to the Glenwood office, where they promptly had a look and serviced her aid. Simple (common) issue which they had fixed in minutes.The whole experience: the staff, facility, timely service, was great. Now that were aware of the issue (wax buildup), well be back for regular service. =o)

This is a very professional office. Took my mother to get her ears cleaned out, due to hearing loss. Dr. Diller was so very patient and did a fantastic job with her. He extracted a hearing aide dome, that was lost back in April, from her left ear. AMAZING! I highly recommend House of Hearing, and they are reasonably priced!

At 44, hearing aids are a little tough on the ego, but my experience here could not have been better. I loved the whole staff, everyone made me feel comfortable. I have had hearing aids for 17 years, periodically needing more powerful, more advanced aids. My hearing at this point is poor and I was beginning to avoid social settings because I couldnt hear. I bought top of the line aids at Costco a year ago and was disappointed with the aids and the companys lack of an audiologist at their h.a. department that really understands more than aid dispensing. From what Costco staff told me, I was really at the end of my rope for aids and wouldnt find anything better anywhere else.With my wifes urging, I decided to give House of Hearing a last try before I gave up on hearing better and met with Matt. He explained in detail what my loss was, what could be done under those conditions, and from a wide and deep variety of aids available, which would suit my needs best. I took 2 weeks trying them, meeting twice to describe my experiences to Matt. He was extraordinarily interested in listening to me and describing what small actions we could take immediately or in the future to make the h.a. fit my lifestyle needs. Bottom line for me is that I can definitely hear the best that I have heard in probably 10 years. A great deal of this has to do with the availability of new technology and the rest with Matts skill at measuring my hearing need and getting my aids set up to satisfy that need. I wouldnt hesitate for a second to recommend H. of Hearing to anyone.

I went to see Matt Murphy at the House of Hearing 6 years ago for assessment of my hearing loss. He fitted me with behind the ear aids that greatly improved my hearing. The up front cost of hearing aids is high no matter where you get them. The advantage of getting them from House of Hearing is the excellent team that provides ongoing service at no charge whenever needed, including cleaning wax and adjusting the sound output when my hearing worsened. About 4 years ago I upgraded to in the ear aids which are even better, and I still have the behind the ear ones for a back up. Matt and his colleagues have cleaned these in ear canal aids and adjusted them multiple times at no charge since I purchased them. They use the latest high tech computer programs to appropriately adjust them based on the degree of hearing loss. The output of the aids can be adjusted based on the hearing loss. The greater the hearing loss, the louder the output. I highly recommend House of Hearing if you have a hearing loss or if your family says you can no longer hear as well as you used to. House of Hearing is the place to get your hearing aids. They carry many lines so they were able to select the manufacturer that was the best fit for me. I was attempting to get another year or two of use out of my old set and Matt went out of his way to explore how that could be done. I ended up getting a new pair and find that new technology has made it worthwhile. And their ability to offer a demo set was a nice surprise.Ive used other audiologists and Matt was by far the most professional and knowledgable.
