Ive only been here twice and I got to say I love this place. Their pricing is not bad at all like other places and most important theyre stocked.

This place is... weird.. It just feels like everyone is looking at you and im a light skinned Mexican so I doubt it was a race thing cause I look white. But maybe the people who work here are only nice and friendly to those of the same race as them. Never thought I would still see that in 2021 but there ya go. Also the price are dumb high like I spent 40 bucks on some nail stickers and the FAKE stones I got. Ive have good quality stones from other places so I know the difference. Just stay away from this place, the weird aura and the prices arent worth it.

Do NOT attempt to buy online from SkylarkWe placed an online order (over $200) on 4/10. We received an order confirmation email and they charged our card the same day. We heard nothing from Skylark so I called and spoke to them yesterday (4/20). I spoke to a woman that was very difficult to understand but she located our order and told me that they would have the order ready for shipment on 4/21. I sent an email to their sales email address confirming what I was told. Then we received a call from a man, who was also difficult to understand, and he told me that he didnt know why his co-worker did not tell us that they did not have 17 of the 24 polishes that we ordered. He claimed that DND had been out of the colors since January which is absolutely not true (many other nail supplies have the colors in stock). When I asked him why they had the colors for sale on their website and why they accepted our online order, he replied that he has nothing to do with the website so he could not explain it. He told me that he would cancel our entire order and issue a full refund that would take about 3 days. We special ordered some of the colors for specific Clients and we ordered other items we needed as well. Our business has been directly impacted by Skylarks incompetence and complete lack of customer service. We would highly recommend that you do NOT order online from Skylark since it is obvious they cannot package and ship online orders or provide minimal follow-up communication.

Rude!Ive visited this place a few times and every time I do I get helped very last even though Im obviously next to get helped.Constantly watched as if I will steal. Im Hispanic by the way. Ive gone back in hopes it was just a rude shift, no. Ive gone at different times, different days and EVERY TIME I get constantly looked at, have actually been followed a few times by the people that work there, been helped last, and when its my turn to pay I do get these shocked looked from the person ringing me up as if they didnt expect me to have the money to cover the items I picked. I feel this is all very rude on their part.Dont feel this kind of service is worth the product they sell there.Felt very unwelcome.

By far the worst service Ive received from any supply store Ive been to. I received a text at 10:50pm on a Sunday stating my order was ready and could be picked up between 12pm to 6pm the next day. I arrived to pick up my order at 1230pm and was told to come back around 4pm because they didnt have the alcohol I ordered. I explained I drove over an hour to pick up my order so they told me to come back at 1pm. I dont understand how they would have it all of a sudden but I agreed to come back. I arrived at 1pm and called to let them know and was told to come right inside. As soon as I stepped inside I was told to go back outside and wait in line. When I told them I was told to walk in they told me to wait anyways. When I finally got inside I was directed to the back to get my order. The man in the back looked right at me, continued to pet his cat and type on his computer and then finally asked if I needed something. After I told him I was there to pick up my order he proceeded to walk around the whole store gathering all the items that were supposed to already be prepared. He asked me to sign off on my order that was still missing 4 items on top of the other 4 items he informed me were no longer available. No apology or anything. Just rude the whole time. In total it took me an hour and 25 minutes just to do a curbside pickup. Ive been a customer here for over 5 years but this has made me look elsewhere for the supplies Ill need for my business. I just have to add the store was a complete disaster. There was trash all over the floor and it was so unorganized. This was made evident by how long it took to get my order together.

I love it here, but always wished the customer service was better. I go out of my way to be extra friendly every time I go and Ive been treated like absolute garbage all but maybe 3 times. Ive gone 2-3 a month for 4 years now and its always the same. I wish theyd treat their customers better.

Terrible customer service when I was checking out rude and was unknowledgeable, couldn’t even answer my question but I probably wouldn’t be as upset if my product wasn’t broken. The Cre8tion UV/Led Nail Lamp doesn’t work, it was $75 plus tax. Expensive for a UV/Led Nail Lamp that I only got 2 uses out of it. I was recommended by a friend and I was disappointed by this place. Also, they don’t do an exchange or returns within 30 days, which is horrible because they probably have a ton of broken products in there and just keep reselling them. I drove out of my way to go over there and will never be returning. This place is trash and I don’t recommend this place.

If your black do not shop here. On my second trip the clerk asked me if I was ready to be ringed up while I was still shopping. When I told him know his facial expression became very upset and he walked away. Also while I looked through the basket of nail stickers. Another clerk watched my every move. As if I were going to steal something. Yesterday I decided to give them one more chance. Lol the same woman clerk stopped what she was doing. To stand right in front of me while I looked through the basket of nail stickers. Once I finished I asked her to checkout. She calculates all my items. Tells me to walk down further to use my debit card. But leaves my bag behind unattended doesn’t thank me or anything after I pay. I’ll never spend my hard earned money here ever again! They mine as well put a sign up saying what type of customers they prefer!

I had placed a pick up order on May 22 with a great amount of supplies for my nail business. I haven’t heard anything about my order in some time l, especially because it stated on their website it should be ready within 2-3 days. So I decided to email them also asking them about the whole pickup order situation. I didn’t get a response until 3 days later. I was getting pretty annoyed by that time. The email explained everything about what I asked but never mentioned anything about my order being ready nor did I get an email mentioning that it was ready. I then emailed them on May 31 asking about my order if it was ready. I hadn’t received an email at all so I emailed them once again asking about my order. I then got an email after I called asking if my order was ready which it was. The email was sent in a very rude response mentioning that they had already said my order was ready but no where did I see someone telling me my order was ready and that’s why I had called to ask. That same day I called I went to pick up my order to only find out they were closed without any signs of saying they were closed. They were causally hanging out at the counter having a conversation and ignoring the fact that there was a line outside waiting for a response if they were open or not. The guy finally came and said they’re open from 9am-5pm everyday. The next morning I went at 9am and they were still closed I even waiting until 9:45am and still nothing. I’m very upset and still haven’t received my order. I will no longer be buying from this nail supply store. I’m still waiting to pick up my order.

Prices arent clearly marked. Some of the items have prices on the product and some have signs with pricing but its hit and miss.. parking is horrible too but the people working are friendly and they have a large selection.

I ordered a Pixie nail drill machine, they send me a wrong drill handpiece !!! And there is nowhere you can contact with them!!! I was asked the drill handpiece charge around $200, this is f ridiculous!!!

The workers arent very helpful and there isnt much privacy when youre paying with a credit card because some other customers decided to cut in front of my sister and I when we were purchasing 4 items. We had to ask them twice to please move since the worker asked for the credit card pin. Unfortunately, the worker attending us didnt tell them anything, and frankly I find it ridiculous that there needs to be a $20 minimum purchase for paying with a credit card. I especially think a line formation for checkout should be enforced like any other store because most customers just go in front of you which is unfair. There are a LOT of products they sell since its like a cosmetic warehouse Ill give you that, but we definitely will not be returning after this experience. I felt like we were being watched and there is a language barrier if you dont speak Vietnamese as in the service isnt as friendly. Youre better off going to a Sallys Beauty Supply or any other cosmetic store in my opinion.

Better customer service than before. The new manager is very friendly and she will offer a bunch good deal when you get to talk to her. cheap to buy, and right now the store is full with New Arrival sign!!! Always my favorite place to get some new beauty stuff.

This store is a MESS! I wanted to buy some stuff but since I didn’t see prices lable on most of the stuff I just left. No one ever asked if I needed help. Bad customer service and plus it was a hot day an No AC on, couldn’t even breath with my mask on.

The workers here are rude and not helpful unless you speak their language... me and my girlfriend came in looking for a certain item. She asked for assistance and was quickly told “No we don’t have that” by a woman staring at a computer. We later found the exact item we were looking for. Other Vietnamese customers were treated well but we are Mexican so all we got were suspicious looks and terrible customer service.... it’s a shame to see minorities treat each other so poorly.

It’s a big space but a bit of a long wait, I think a lot of people come in since it is near the beach. Staff is super friendly but the actual quality of work wasn’t super great probably because they rushed to get our nails done. I had little bubbles and my friend’s nails chipped the same day. I’m sure on a slower day we would have had a better experience.

The quantity of things they have is crazy. Its like nail heaven for me. Although the customer service from the older people wasnt great, this younger girl that helped me made up for it and so did the prices. They had exactly what I wanted and then some. I will definitely be going back when i go to knotts since I live so far.

The service is bad, they only have 2 people that can speak English, theyre very rude. The language barrier plays a major role. They dont provide adequate customer service, they walk away from the customer constantly, dont answer any questions. The only positive thing about the store is reasonable prices.

Would like if they had more styles of bigger eyelashes that flipped up and wispy ones but they do have a lot if regularity medium size ones. Lots of nail polishes and cases of already painted tips

This used to be the IT place for cheap nail polish but Ive found that they had alot of old stock and no new collections. Their prices arent all too great either. But it is a nice place for cheap beauty products like swatch rings and even hair related items.

Their supplies are limited for mainly nail shop. They use to have more. The lady try to rip me off!!! She try to over charge me and thought I didnt understand Vietnamese and gave me a totally different number then you calculated!! Be careful!!! I even told her I caught her in Vietnamese!

I came from Arizona to California just for this nail supply shop but NEVER AGAIN!! I needed Young Nails Peach powder and at first she showed me a sealed brand new powder but when i went to check out her and another employee started talking about it of course in Viet and started laughing, me thinking nothing of it paid and grabbed my bag since I only come for the nail supplies I put my bag away immediately but once returning home to ARIZONA realized they put a 25%USED ACRYLIC POWDER IN MY BAG! And charged me the $17!! Screw this place they are ones who give the viet nail supply shops a BAD name! Go to SKYLINE or OCEAN nail supply DO NOT go to skylark!

Do not go Skylark Nail Supplies....the price is scammmmm...they said i must pay by Cash if i can get special disc 7% and free tax, because i have Seller Permit also...after i spend 2 hours there and buy a lot of stuffs, and final to pay all of the stuffs in the Cashier, come up : the price is the same, not discount at all and also i must pay Tax !!!! They Scamm and bullshittt...the price even more expensive from other store...wasting the time to go there....

The costumer service sucked but whatever it totally made up for the amazing prices essie nail polishes reg. 8 were 4, OPI reg. 8-9 were 4.50, china glaze reg. 6-8 were 3.50, Fantastic color selection normally at supply stores or even beauty supply stores not open to the public dont have these good of prices and if they do they have like 12 different colors.

I bought a Nghia Export cuticle nipper from Skylark Nail & Beauty Supply for $18, but the nipper is not sharp enough to cut the cuticle when I use it. I was told Nghia cuticle nipper is the best nipper, but the product does a poorly job. The customer service is good, but I am not happy with the low quality of Nghias nippers.

Went here to buy some gel and nail liquid and one of the staff was very rude and was more focused on watching t.v. than helping me find what i needed. Stuff was ok in price, but the customer service is horrible. The owner needs to seriously have a talk with the employees.Never going here again!

Not good quality polish, The owner of the store is not nice, when I was there she and her daughter did not care about a customer 👎, the owner of the store, I went to her baby supplies right in front of me but it didnt I wanted to welcome, left again, I had to wait a while before the staff came up in the corner to ask, their trading gestures were like newcomers from Vietnam to do business. polite, I never go to this store ever again 👎
