This store continuously makes an effort to provide a great customer experience within the challenges of high customer volume. With a neatly organized & stocked sales floor, friendly staff and the option of self checkout, this is one of my favorite locations. I also appreciate the continued efforts to improve the flow of the gasoline lines, things have gotten better lately!
The prices are amazing! The store is clean and organized. You can get anything you need.
Finally, service was better than Walmart today. And nobody nearly ran me over in the crosswalk. Lines werent insane, and they didnt have the usual numbers of Idle Villagers working there just standing around gossiping amongst themselves.
The food taste good, service on drive to 👎because, they forgave the salad into whole combos 4 chicken finger, 😭 we love the salad.
Over 10 minutes wait at the Register. I was unlucky to be behind a difficult customer who was complaining about their transactions. It took 4 people and over 10 minutes later for them to finally took the customer off the line and to another register to sort things out. Don’t get me wrong they were trying their best to resolve the issue and I appreciate the cashier apology. But 4 people? C’mon, after 3 people can’t figured it out, they added another person to the mix and increased everyone’s wait time. The Irvine Costco and Huntington Beach lines go so much quicker. They know what they’re doing. To the manager, improve your Cashier procedures so you can stop wasting people’s time.
Somehow the parking situation is always terrible. This location is also missing the wet cat food. Otherwise, its Costco and Costco is the best.
Awesome selections. Things are a bit pricey now... Unlike before... Their prices are no longer competitive. But still good place to buy items that are in bulk. If youre planning to pay with a credit card.. Make sure you have a Visa mc. Thats the only one they accept. God bless...
Pretty good. Long gas lines as typical in California. Went in to grab a pizza because I was hunnnngry. Pretty good value. Can get a whole pizza and a drink for about 11 bucks.
Great location. Good quantities of good items. Like this store. Just wish it had more motorized carts for those of us who are disabled. Parking can be a problem though
They dont serve the chicken salads anymore and I find that frustrating because I do love the salads. Please bring them back asap.
Just another Costco. Great prices and items. Food area is also great.
Went here with my mom today and this cashier Kerri was giving us a hard time. What happened to Costcos Mission Statement Take care of our members. That was not what my mom and I experienced. When I tried to pay my moms groceries with my Visa debit card, Kerri refused the payment and threw an attitude. I worked as a cashier and had never seen a Karen as a cashier before. This surprised me because 1) I had never encountered this problem before with previous Costco associates 2) I asked Kerri about it and to quote what she said they werent doing their job 3) there was a Vietnamese supervisor that came over and she refused to speak to him. I dont want to accuse anyone of anti-Asian sentiments, but that was how I felt. Another supervisor came and then told me that I was in the wrong. Fine, I didnt want to escalate this when there is a long line behind us, I just gave my mom cash, then she gave it to Kerri. But the problem is the humiliation my mom and I felt. Kerri did not make us feel valued. Kerri did not make feel like our 200 dollars purchase was worth it. Kerri did not make us feel like we want to come back. When customer service is this bad, I dont care how much savings I get. If I walk out there humiliated, I will never come back.
Instead of using the food court today I bought turkey croissant sandwich and salad combination. I wanted something cool and lightweight it was perfect. I went ahead and ate it in the food court where the air conditioning was nice.
Great people and great wholesale outlets
Its wonderful to have a cashier still having a friendly smile to greet you with. Even at closing time. Thank you. Patty. H
Managers cannot be trusted. We called in asking them if they can look at their camera to ID the car hitting our parked car. They said there was no camera in that location. We went there and low and behold, there were two cameras ~15 away directing at the exact location. They said they will call right away, 1 week went by, there was no call. We called them again, a manager said he will call back with more information, several days later still no phone call. Costco donating $25 million to support Black-led financial institutions and community development initiatives, thus discriminating against people of all other skin pigmentations. Publishes a left-wing propaganda magazine. Think about it before you buy bulks of mediocre food from them that you wont finish before they rot.
Good ol Costco. Many of my visits had nothing going wrong and all of the products I needed were there and in stock. Lines are always long but go by fast and are never a big problem. Hope the quality stays the same for years to come!
This Costco is very busy, but best gas prices in town make it worth the wait
I highly recommend checking inventory for electronics before going. It took 3 trips and 3 hours of my life to get what we needed for a present. All stores showed inventory but as we discovered, was highly inaccurate. We drove from store to store when we finally called ahead and had one reserved. Next time we will try on line. We did have one helpful person toward this endeavor and we came away in time for our party. Cost-wise, it was worth it. Item was much less than the regular stores.
Always crowded but closest to my place. Lots of Asian food items in this location. Gasoline is high grade and much cheaper than anywhere else, just have to get in line. They have new brand of Kimchi: Jonga, made in Korea, tasty!
This Costco location is the best as the employees are really friendly and as usual Costco has everything you need over there.
I enjoyed! Only, people getin out of control. And not to teke distancie.
Still a hit and miss for me. Sadly today with current trend. The store shelves looked rather bleak. Most of the items I went for was unavailable either alternative brands or see what I could adjust too. Changed so much in my final purchases.Plenty of shopping carts today took up the building near enough outside.Parking geez 🤦🏼♂️
Line for gas needs improvement! . Customer service was completely divorce or non existance.
Not the best costco ever, feels over crowded and poorly lit compared to others. Still a great place to shop!
Really a good quality things and good saving only the thing u have to take on bulk or large quantity.Nice cloth collection.Initially u need to pay 60$ for one year membership . Please contact nearest Costco for this update of membership.
My favorite Costco to go to! The parking lot is spacious and equipped with the gas station which also has easy lines to get in to. I can usually find new sales/savings at this Costco. And the workers here are nice.
This costco is always crowded, always. Anyway, make sure to review your receipt. I just realized that the cashier charged me twice for an item that was quite expensive, microwave. I wanted to get out of there cause there were soooo many people that I didnt realize why my total was so high. Now I have to go back and tell them to refund me. How inconvenient this is.
Costco always the best but long queue for gas
Normally, I avoid Saturday and Sunday crowds. You can usually park in the back or side with plenty of parking spots.Returns are super easy with Costco. Thats why they have repeat customers.
Lots of great things you didnt realize you needed!
Its a mistake to shop here. Its too crowded. People are nasty. They keep honking at one another.
Costco really is for families. Not just one solitary person with limited food space. However, you can still find some pretty good deals if you know what you are looking for. And they do have a great deal of other things other than food. Maybe not as much as the great movie King Of California starring Michael Douglas (a real gem- you should check it out!) may lead you to believe, (I did not see Scuba gear or tanks...) but certainly impressive.
Great Customer Service!! Store is very clean and organized!!
Costco is always great, this store in particular is very efficient up front, the lines move quick. Id say the worst thing about this store is the line for the gas. Theres not enough room the lines are too long for what they must have expected cuz its pretty chaotic other than that great store
Door greeter CARMEN is always rude never greets people when going in never has a smile literally the worst person to have as a door greeter. Manager should consider moving her to the back away from customers or working off hours when there are no customers
Love costco! Best time to go is when theyre about to close ita not as packed. Great deals and friendly staff!
We love Costco, so much that we got our SOLAR through them. The Contractor however destroyed our roof. The Solar system its failed inspection. It actually hasnt worked at all. The Contractor stopped taking our calls. We paid for our roof repair out of pocket.. we are waiting to hear from Costco.
Costco has the best hotdogs and at a great price!
First time visiting the Garden Grove Costco and although I loved it, it was waay too crowded. Though for Costco thats no surprise. They have a small fruit section compared to my local Costco back home, but they have many more items that my Costco doesnt. It was great visiting for the first time and I wouldnt hesitate to come back again!
Worst customer service. I have been in different Costco and membership service is very poor. They can not help you; they not even ask a supervisor to get help. I was trying to renew my membership and all they told me was they do not know.
I think you either love Costco or its not for you. I love it. Just be realistic about what you can actually consume before you buy to waste.Nothing stand out or detracts from this particular Costco compared to others. Its usually crowded, but lines move fast and now they have self checkout.
A big, but busy Costco. Parking is also a slight challenge. Products are usually in stock and good visibility. Check is somewhat moderate with a few self checkout lanes.
Good spot!! Easy to spend money lol!!!The Tv selection is the best!!
The store was packed with TOILET PAPER, TOWELS AND MORE TOILET PAPER all over the middle of the aisles on the shelves making it hard to move around with carts and customers, I was surprised to see so much paper all over the store and is so funny how a couple of weeks ago there was hardly any paper when customers were allowed to buy only 1, is ridiculous just to see how they were holding so much paper just take a look at the pictures and be the judge of that.
If we get out of here for under a 100 bucks we consider that a success.
This Costcos is a perfect neighborhood one-stop shop. Parking can be dicey during prime hours, but since I go during the low foot traffic hours, I rarely have an issue getting in or out of the parking lot.
Great Costco just always crowded.
It is like any other Costco Checkout and food in the front of the store and you enter near the electronics department. It sells gas and tires NO Carwash at this location! Good size store but parking is limited just like most locations. It shares a parking lot with a Del Taco and Office Depot. Best day to come is Wednesday.
Besides the popular hours still they help to make it fast. Best prices in town. Very crowded mostly always.
GAS LINE WAS LONG BUT IT MOVED VERY GOOD.
Love to fill gas here. The price is cheal and it has lot of stations. Plus, this Costco has free Air pressure for everyone which will cost yoy $1 or $1.5 at any other gas station. This Air pressure is very easy to use. You just need to choose the air press sure number you want, and when your tire pressure get that point, it will make alert sound and get can takr the horse out. To make sure your tire pressure, you can look it up at the label at the door on the driver side. If you drive your car in an hour, you may need to plus up to 3 more point.
That was when covid started people whent crazy 😜 big lines and costco was olmost empty horrible times we made it ..
Crowded, produces are not that fresh. Long queue for checkout
What can you say about Costco the gas prices are awesome the prices on the food are awesome and the quality and the selection is so amazing
First time back to this Costco since the pandemic. Pre-pandemic I avoided because the people never cared for your personal space but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Like the new self checkout and the concession ordering.
Ok place to shop for foods. But the people were too crowded.
Costco always have a great deals there food are good. My daughter bought our Thanksgiving dinner its fast and easy to cook. But its always hard to find a parking spot and even in the parking there is traffic. The employee that was helping us with my online order came to close so I ask him to 6ft please and he said well shes close to you too the other lady I ask to help me with my online generator order instead of stepping further oh and they dont have the hot coffee machine. I wish they do. Please like my post thanks. Happy Holidays!
I had recently purchased a lovesac from Costco.Com and I decided I wanted to purchase another one . So, I called Costco customer service and ask if I could purchase cash cards in a large amount to use on Costco.com to purchase a lovesac; she said yes. However, when I got to the store it was another story. When I got there and told the manager what I needed he escorted me to register 51 and told me a manager would be over soon; soon was twenty minutes later. This manager stood right in front of me and didn’t say a word to me. No hello, have you been helped, nada. He proceeded to speak on his walkie talkie as he toward the exit door and the membership counter, meanwhile; a very pretty employee came up to me and ask if I was the person waiting to purchase cash cards, I said yes. By that time the male employee who stood in front of me and walked passed me without uttering a word returns and stops right in front of me. He never tales me his name, I learned it from the name badge that read John. I explained to John why I was there and that I had called customer service to make sure that it was ok to pay with a cashiers check. He explained to me that he was not comfortable taking a cashiers check from me because they have had problems in the past with cash cards. I showed him my bank receipt showing a cashier check issued from my credit union and my current account balance. He told me he didn’t care about that, it doesn’t concern him. He explained he did not feel comfortable accepting my check and tat he is the warehouse manager and he has the right to refuse my check. However, if I came back with $6,700 in cash he would be happy to accept that as payment. Who wants to walk around with that much money in their pocket. Especially when your female. I urge you not to call the regional like I did. I spoke with Lisa who told me to just wait and she would call into the warehouse to see if we could resolve the issue, she came back with a negative. At this point it’s no longer about the check for me; it’s about treatment. The fact that his badge says,” member service is our number one job” but he never acknowledged me even though I was close enough to tap him on the shoulder. I’ll ask you as I ask Lisa and everyone else I talked to: “ if I told you to stand by the white car mark #12 and my manager will help you there, and you’re the only one standing at that white car #12; no else is there, and my manager comes by and does not acknowledge you in anyway… not a hi, have you been helped, not a hello or a boo, then walks all the way down to the exit door only to be told the person he needs to speak with… is you. How would you feel? My last 2% check was $694 and some change. My one for this year is $434 and change. I will never shop at this Costco again. He treated me like a thief and all but said so in action, words and deeds. Lisa at regional in garden grove was no better. I’m still waiting to speak with someone from corporate regional. We’ll see what happens. I did everything I was supposed to do. I made sure my form of payment would be acceptable. When I was told someone from Lakewood would call me (a part of his team) meaning assistant warehouse manager and given names of who may contact me; I wasn’t worth that much trouble and John had his membership manager call me to straighten out a situation that is clearly an upper level manager problem. When I called (425) again and told them what happened they said, that person should not have been the one to reach out to me. So they took it up a level and explained since it was end of day, I might not hear from anyone until Monday or Tuesday. So sad. There is so much more I could write about this day; however, mentally I’m exhausted, and emotionally, I’m drained.
Went to Costco in Garden Grove on 1/10/2021 and it was so crowded. People were circling the parking lot just to find parking so you can only imagine inside the store. Its my understanding stores are one of the many types of locations that should only allow 25% capacity of the people in yet no one was being kept out. Sunday is one of the busiest days to shop for groceries and there was no way to keep a 6ft social distance plus no one was enforcing it. Yes there were plastic shields at the cash registers and everyone had a mask on but those employees out on the floor and the customers were all out at risk during this crisis of covid-19.
Getting gasoline here is a cluster f... There should be an attendant out there directing cars to go all the way in so that we can all get in... it just causes a log Jam out in the thorough way...
Outdated policies, who still needs the original receipt for returns when they record everything you buy and it is stored in their system?
Costco is Costco. It is always busy and loaded with new things.
Bit pins. Costco and always will. Incredible prices.
No names on the aisles, very hard to find things.Cant use CASH to pay for lunch, its just not user friendly. Going to stick to Sams
Best Costco in the OC
Well stocked and organized! The employees here are very on top of things.
Went here for gas around 8:30 AM on a Tuesday. Readonable price, but a wait.
9-10am is for senior and medical people. Others has to wait until 10am before entering the store... PLEASE MENTION IN STORE HOURS!
Would you guys add Halal meat to you yout meat products, so instead of going to other stores, Castco would be the number one store for everyone and also this move will attract more customers who purchase lot of meat. Thank you
Love me some samples
Great place to shop, lines were not long, and the food court was extra nice
Its a little crazy but thats typical for GG store. Bathroom clean👍. NO Water, everything else was good.
Variety of products at a good price!
Love it . Check out Lines are always fast
Not easy to find a parking spot. So crowded. Not in order at check out.
One of the larger costco and have a lot more variety of products. Parking can get bad quick, lines are long and filling gas take a long time.
Crowded and messy. A lot of stuff run out and didn’t get restock.
Well whats her to say about Costco that people dont already know. Its always a great experience when I go. If you want to avoid three quarters of the crowds go during the week especially like on Tuesday Wednesdays or Thursdays in the mid afternoon. The only thing I wish Costco would do would do one checkout line with five items or less. I dont always go in there and buy 10 items or more sometimes I may go to pick up one or two items and then get out. out of all those checkout lines you cant dedicate one line to at least five items or less. Make life a hell of a lot easier.
Good things
As to be expected of shopping at Costco, the parking situation is always a mission. And inside the stores there is no oversight regarding safe distance shopping. However the employees here are friendly and helpful. The Food courts or cafeteria for Costco has seen a marked diminish in the quality of food prepped and serve. #bringbackthechurros.
Very busy.shoppers are always on rush and parking on weekends is a nightmare. You can get the best gas prjce though.
Love Cosco but whats up with NOT accepting AMEX😡
Love getting gas at Costco. Gas is less expensive
Its Costco...Dont go there on the weekend madhouse!
Prices are going up too much to justify paying the membership
The place was packed at 11:30 am on a Wednesday. Hard to find parking. Rude customers pushing their carts every which way. Wont be going back.
