Wanted a local place for breakfast and came across this excellent Kingβs Pancakes place.They were not too busy but soon got busy after I arrived. The variety of the menus will hit all the right breakfast cravings you have from eggs, to pancakes and more.The service is great and the while place has that great come in and sit and enjoy. Take yourself or the whole gang as they can accommodate.

The meals there are delicious and I have no complaints about it!!!! The reason for the 4 stars is because they sometimes have my order wrong with forgetting some stuff that was supposed to be included with the meal.

My wife, sister-in-law and myself wanted a late breakfast. A friend had told me that the breakfast there was over top. So we stopped while running errands Saturday my Guilty Pleasure was Chicken Fried Steak if you can imagine it was Lite not heavy with breading that absorbs oil and the gravy was tasty not lumpy and bland my eggs were over easy not watery. My wife loves the pancakes which she normally doesnt π

The pancakes were thick & absorbed the syrup so you had to add more syrup to get the pancakes just the right way. The refresher mango and strawberry I had assumed that it would taste like IHOPs mango or strawberry refresher but there was no thing to it and there was no fruit added to it all it was was lemonade with fruit syrup. The service was quick and the cleanup crew was even quicker I had a chance to use a Groupon and my mail were two omelets with a stack of pancakes or each person and the two drinks which we switched or lemonade but the lemonade you could tell was it made within a lemons it was watered down powdered lemonade drink. So youll be seeing Kings pancakes but the building and a lot of the food choices are mixture of IHOP and Latin food mixed together on the menu so check it out
Thought wed try this place and were disappointed. The food was bland and not very eye appealing. I have to say THE PANCAKES ROCKED. Service could of been more attentive and observant. Also small servings.

You can get a stack of high quality bacon from Walmart for $10 that is way better than the sad excuse that they call bacon here. The pancakes are good, but I mean, they fin better be.
Philly Cheese steak was delicious! The bun was nice and toasted as well. Although the Cheese sticks, tender and onion rings platter could have been better so, the cheese sticks specifically. Nice and fried outside but the cheese was so elastic and felt like rubber and not your typical gooey cheese as it should be. Great meal nonetheless

We will be back again and again! Wonderful and perfectly cooked food, with the right amount of everything! The eggs were light and fluffy and the cheese just melted into a beautiful creamy mixture.I got the Swedish pancakes (Crepes here) and I will always be back for more! They are my favorite style of pancake and Kings Pancake makes them better than IHop! Lingonberry butter and Lingonberry jam with light powdered sugar (not that its needed!) just really makes this a great start to any morning!Service was great! So friendly and patient, Im thrilled to be close enough to visit often!

Service was fine but the food isnβt that good. My omelette was so overcooked and rubbery I couldnβt finish it. Definitely not worth $12. I prob wonβt be coming back with the fam.

Excellent, place!The place was crowded, but the service was amazing. We were sat and had our orders ready in less than 10 minutes (We were ready to order before to get our sits, though) Fantastic place! Highly recommend it.
Fast service
I was new to the area and needed a place to eat looked on the GPS for a restaurant and the International House of Pancake came up. When I drove by I saw that it was now called Kings pancakes. Decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. Everything was great, Service Plus food, cant complain. Highly recommend!
I love this place. It is a staple. We are always coming here.. My husband is disabled and they are very accommodating.. The food is always great.. From their pancakes to steaks. Nothing disappoints.

This place is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. everytime I I need a special dinner, this restaurant comes right away to my head. best and varied food and a large list of dishes.professional staff, and pleasant mood. In addition to that, the charge is decent. I tell about this spot with no hesitation.

Delicious food and friendly staff.Came in on a Saturday and despite being a packed house I was able to be seated and served in minutes. The food is delicious! I got the cream cheese crepe and breakfast combo. The combination of sweet and savory was excellent. This was my first time and I ant wait to come again. And shout-out to the hard working staff. The place is packed but my food came out quick, was cooked to perfection, and smiles all around.

Ordered scrambled eggs. They were definitely microwaved. Crepe was a soggy mess. Bacon was burnt. $12 and Im both hungry and disappointed that I stopped to eat here. Old food microwaved and handed to me. Dude who took my order was kind and helpful though. Great customer service from him

Everything. We. Ate. Was great.8 people all got different things, from chicken alfredo to crepes! Great, friendly service. Even the water was good! This was the first time in a long time that everything we ordered was delicious.No. Crowds or wait at 6pm, Tuesday evening.
Fried steak and eggs was OK but the strawberry pancakes were amazing. They didnt skimp out on the strawberries. Loved them.

Kings pancake house is a cute, quiet cafe in the middle of Garden Grove, right across from the Regal Cinemas.The service was great. Our server checked back at our table often, and she offered free sodas. ( free sodas if you order a meal)Food:The menu focuses on breakfast and lunch.I had a short stack of buttermilk pancakes for $6. The fluffy pancakes was rich with butter. They had 4 different types of syrup to choose. (Old fashioned maple, strawberry, blueberry, and boysenberry.My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak, which comes with eggs, crispy hashbrowns, and a side of pancakes for $14. The hash browns and fried steak were crispy, but it is a bit oily.We havent tried much, but we will come back to try some more.

We came here with a Groupon and the food was acceptable, but nothing to write home about. We ate eggs, steak bites, hash browns and pancakes. The pancakes were the best, but I would have expected better from a place with the word pancakes in its name. Nevertheless, it was worth it with the huge Groupon discount.

This place is a family friendly restaurant. The food is great, the waiters are very welcoming and have everything at hand. I went once and keep coming back. They leave a pot of coffee for you at the table. They speak spanish. If you love meat order the meat omelet.

This place has the best servers! They make me special to order items that are no longer on their menus. We have been going here for about 18 years. It used to be IHOP, and it still has the same great taste! They even have the same specials.

I am giving 5 stars solely based on the service. Our waitress was a Hispanic woman whose name we didnt get unfortunately but she made us feel right at home. The food and price were decent as well but her service alone was enough to make us want to come back.

Ive been coming to this place for years. The food always meets my expectations. This restaurant used to be an IHOP. I was told by a waitress that IHOP did not want to redo their contract because the restaurant building is old. I keep comming here because the food is always good and they still serve some of IHOPs menu.

Service was ok food also but cashing out was real bad. Had to pay for my kids for after 2 even do I had the $40 dollar already paid group on. She said I could only take the group on or the 2 kids for after 2. In the group on does not specify that if you have a 40 meal you cant take your kids to eat for free. Anyways pay for the bill and will never go once again.
Get your car washed while you eat a good breakfast. Hard to beat that.
My usual routine, drop the car off next door for a wash and wax and stop into Kings Pancakes for an amazing Meal prepared in a timely manner made to perfection!
Average. Its a kind of copy of the IHOP it used to be. I have only had breakfast so cant comment on lunch or dinner. But the crepes are good and there are plenty of combinations to choose from.

The waitress was pushy, rushing me and talking over me while I tried ordering. The talking over me part was what irritated me the most. Also prices are a bit high in my opinion.
Caramelized banana French toast was really good. Coffee came with flavored cream. Service was great.
Great food prices are reasonable the staff is fantastic.
