Good luck getting them to back up the work. We got our motor repaired and went out after 6 months. Wanted to charge to look at and rebuild again. My other motor before lasted 12 years. I would not recommend using them.

We have used Cordova and Son, Inc twice so far and on both occasions they have been honest, trustworthy and above all very knowledgeable about servicing our motors.About three months ago, we brought them a small motor that needed to be fixed. We were pleasantly surprised at how fast they completed the job, and the pricing was very fair.Just about a week ago, we started having some issues with one of our larger DC motors. We called them and explained the issue to the best of our ability (but not knowing much about DC motors, it wasnt much to go off of). We brought them the set of brushes that we thought could be causing the problem and showed them some pictures of the motor inside the case. We were getting prepared to have to pay to have the motor opened up and serviced which would have been very expensive. Instead, Gavino and Pablo suggested that we try resurfacing the commutator (the part the brushes rub against) using a grinding stone that we paid $40 for. We refinished the commutator and so far, so good.Just like finding a trustworthy mechanic, trying to find someone that you can trust to do a job that you know nothing about is hard to do.Gavino and Pablo at Cordova and Son are the real deal and we cannot recommend them enough if you need work done on any of your electric motors.

Broght in a stuck shaft in a stator, Gavino threw it on the lathe and removed it then and there. Was out of there in 30 mins.Thanks!
