I have trusted Danny Ott to service and repair my instruments for 20 years. I have varied guitars I use for different styles and sound, and each is a favorite. Also Lap Steel. Danny has worked on my instruments and never has he faltered or made a wrong choice for a repair. His integrity is of the highest order and his skills are of the highest artistic merit. I trust Danny absolutely. My praise is not a push for Danny. My praise is based on his skills and competency as a Master Craftsman. Danny will not BS or manipulate a person for the money. He is genuinely honest, and one of the last of the old world instrument craftsmen you will ever be blessed to meet.

Never again. Locals mostly use him to help with eBay and Reverb online scams (writing fake repair estimates so that his friends can get partial refunds, or do swap-fraud). Fine for a re-string or an online scam, but would not trust with a more serious repair.

I also got scammed by a Reverb user with one of this guy’s service receipts.
