I am not African but I enjoy African cuisine. Ive shopped at various types of ethnic grocery stores (Asian, Italian, African,, etc) and sometimes the owners and/or store associates were unkind and unprofessional. On the contrary, every time Ive shopped at P&,J, the store associates were kind, patient, and professional. I enjoy shopping at this store and feel welcomed as a customer.

Miss home(Nigeria/Africa) and want to have a taste of the delicacies youve not had for a while for an affordable price?..... This store is the right place. I wasnt expecting the prices of stuff here to be reasonable, but it was!Got ground melon seeds(egusi) for $20, and we used it to make soup for 3 times. Garri for $10 lasted throughout this time as well. Leaves(bitter, pumpkin) for $4 each.They have ọgbọnọ, stock fish, bonga fish, even the most popular noodles in Naija(Indomie).But I must warn you, the stock fish you are going to find here(at least the one I one I got when I went there) has an extreme amount of sodium, so be sure to put the fish in hot water, let it sit for at least 20 minute, then drain before using it in your soup.Go find out for yourself and enjoy.
