If it werent for the fact that they had my sour patch berries I would have given them one star but the cashier was busy joking around with his homie and other coworkers and I had to use my ID even though they could have punched in the information and I dont have my ID (just a picture of it on my phone), so I guess I was s.o.l.. Not an alcohol purchase by the way, just to put money on a card. To sum it up, horrible service.
I hate coming to this pharmacy. I work night shift so I usually go after work in the morning. Pharmacist does not acknowledge people. So I end standing in line for 20 minutes. And still nobody says anything . Im the only one in line...Oh well.

They didnt have the medication I need in stock but they were able to direct me to a pharmacy that did.I have been on hold with this location for over half an hour now just for a simple confirmation my prescription is ready since their automatic system is often wrong.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My husband went in with an urgent printing and the people at the printing Aisle didn’t want to print our documents despite their website stating so and having to honor it. They just didn’t want to do their job and kept being very rude and aggressive towards us. Contacting HR.
Confusing the way of checking in for the Covid 19 booster shot.
I called for assistance in the allergy department, I picked the one I wanted and handed it to the lady, because they hand carry to the front. She said that they were all the same and put the one I selected back on the shelf, I told her no and took it back out. When a customer selects what they want, do not undermine them. Her attitude was terrible. I reported to Lorena. My personality is good, but I could not take the rudeness. The one star is for your Associate.
I was there for COVID vaccine. Great experience all around. From signup to checking in at the pharmacy, and administration of the shot. Very friendly and polite staff. thank you for what you’re doing.A+ for the experience, professionalism and prompt service.

It is one lousy pharmacy and they never do anything correctly. It takes them 4 days to get a medication ready. The manager he does not care and does not know how to manage and never thought how to handle customers complaint. Their corporate office put me on hold forever and I couldnt get any answer for poor pharmacy management. I guess they have market share and do not care for better service. If you dont like their service write about it on Google local listings, so others would know about it and avoid cvs if they can!
The good thing about this location is that its open 24/7. But the store is constantly poorly stocked, the bins to be stocked is out in the open waiting to be stocked. The pharmacy is also open 24/7, but they are constantly understaffed, and may be on lunch break for a few hours. And chances of calling ahead to the pharmacy is very slim, they rarely pick up their phone.
Absolutely WORST pharmacy in the world...Ive been a loyal NY customer of CVS for decades, so I picked them when I came to LA. This one NEVER answers the phone despite being open 24 hours. And no matter how long I give them to fill a prescription its NEVER ready when I go to pick it up. They say, Oh..were working on it (for 4 days?) So, I tell them I will wait...then they fill it in 10-20 minutes. Unless they are made to do something they NEVER do it on their own. Ive now switched to Walgreens...great service, no problem.
They have one rude manager who does not apologize for their screw up. Dr. Electronicly sent them prescription it took them 4 days to fill it and these days I waited in line for half an hour and sent away and next day I called and I was on hold for half an hour and they still did have it. On fourth day I called and found out they had it then. One lousy pharmacy with a hole manager who i know wasnt supervised and do not care that a customer had to suffer so much to get a medication!! Lack of proper management where is territory manager or who ever runs these pharmacies?
Their pharmacy takes too long to answer questions and they are not reliable when it comes to medications because theyre not ready when they promise by a certain time. They should make it easier for people to get medications especially when weve been calling everyday for an update. They need a quicker system to make it quicker for customers and more employees to help. Seriously its a disaster
Love this store. Im a night owl and this store is open 24/7 (prescriptions, too.). In most of LA meteo area 10pm closing times are the norm, but not here. If you like to do your shopping at 3am this is the store you. I hope they never change.
Personnels whom work in the pharmacy they un organized and very unfriendly. Not helpful at all. Must have new workers since they gave wrong information and had to wait in line twice. What a waste of time!

I gave a phone call over 5 times for an hour at 9 pm. Nobody answer phone call at all. Even though one reply, she hung up before I answer in seconds because I put my cellphone by my side.

-Always understaffed.-Self-checkout doesnt do much to reduce the line if most people choose to use a cashier. After all, the customer isnt getting paid to perform a cashiers job.-Mix of both unfriendly and friendly supervisors and cashiers that lack essential customer service skills. Pharmacy is no better.- Their profit is mostly through pharmacy so if you really mad, hit em where it hurts-If you dont use their coupons, then why are you shopping here? Seeing that everything is overpriced.-Coupon friendly depending on who is working and how much knowledge they have, like one or two employees out of their whole staff. Shame.-As a regular customer, I shouldnt have to plan when to visit to avoid a disrespectful employee.-More training needed, to be blunt. I work in customer service too, I understand that we have our bad days but a customer shouldnt know more than the supervisor. And, dont take it out on me when someone else is rude to you.-3 stars for the hours, amount of stock, and the employees THAT ARE friendly and go far and beyond to make sure I get those deals
My prescription was called at today at 11.00 am today. At 5.30 pm was still not ready. I called to see why,and was told to wait another hour. I told them no, get it expiated now. When i went in there was only 1 cashier working and 2 pharmacy filling prescriptions, a line out the door. I said you need more help and was told they wont hiring any more, nor bring in extra help.Talk about getting this virus, go into the pharmacy in gardena on western ave.Awful and uncalled for this kind of wait.
I yolanda have had problems with the checkout machines as well as the cashier not being too friendly and snapping a bit. I think we need to treat senior citizens with more patience and respect. Not going to this store much any longer. Unsatisfied customer.
This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy you can ever possible even think of going to. If you have a question about your medication expect to be placed on hold for about an hour legit 45-1 just for a quick question. They’re the absolute worse!

The only thing I love is that they are open 24 hours. Other then that the waiting time is horrible. I was told 20 min. And I waited WAYYY MORE. they should have told me to come back in 2 hours from the start.

Terrible!!!!! Prescription sent a few hours before I went there for pick up. The order wasnt ready, and they said they will expedite the order so wait for 5-10 minutes. Ive been waiting over 20 minutes, not readyI checked it again after 30 minutes, and they said still not ready and will expedite it again. What the hell!They should have just told me to come back an hour or so at the first place. I just wasted my valuable time of 45 minutes and more here!!!!Horrible!!

The manager, a short lady, when I told her that the coupon machine did not print. She went and reprinted the coupons but she scam me. she kept a coupon for $7 and was insisting it wasnt my. but I made an account on cvs and it show that was my coupon and it was already printed.
Dropped off my mothers prescription at 12pm(drive thru). Told it would take an hour to fill. Great. Ill just go run errands and come back. Return an hour and a half later, just to be told that the pharmacist hasnt filled it yet. Im sorry, what? Why? Can you give the pharmacist 10 more minutes please? Oh, so the prescription can be filled in 10 minutes? Oh ok. I sit in the lot for 30 minutes. This way there should not be a problem when I return. Will never return.
The pharmacy needs improvement unfortunately, however, Ample Parking lot... and its kept very clean and tidy, The store for the most part is kept organized and clean everything seems to be stocks fully. The staff is average not the best not the nicest but mediocre to say the least. The pharmacy no longer texts you or calls you when your prescription is ready.

Pharmacy lady Named Vanessa was very rude. Refused to used a coupon from GoodRX cause she did not wanted to do her job. Never coming back here. If she doesn’t like working this late she shouldn’t even be there. She was hiding in the back being stupid not trying to do her job. So sad people like her are on this planet.

When it comes to seasonal items such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day Exedra. Winter, spring, summer, fall. they have it all. Items you will not find in the big box stores . also note: if using the pharmacy, Order ahead if possible. they have a drive-thru window and drop off tube..
Rude staff. I was checking out at self checkout, I was in the process of scanning my items (4 items) each two are identical, some of the items wouldnt scan so I would use the other similar item to scan twice instead. I had noticed one of the staff was watching me. My security guard snatched the item from my hand and said I have to scan all items. I told her they had a problem scanning, she then proceded to count the items I had and the items on the screen and said there were only three items on the screen while I had 4 and that I was stealing! Now let me remind you I was still in the process of scanning two of the items twice and she snatched the second item halfway through my process!!! I told her I am not lying to her and I am not trying to steal! She then started to get low in her mannerism and then walked away telling everyone else in the store that I was rude and she had to keep quite so she can keep the peace!! She made sure I could hear her and kept going from customer to customer and just repeating that she walked away to avoid a scene and that I am rude!!! (Aparently its rude to say you are not lying or stealing). I continued with my order and went straight out of that place and never coming back!

Worst experience ever simply because a lady cut in front of us and 3 other people. The cashier JOEL at 5:50pm on 09/15/18, at the Gardena, CA refused to sell me and my family beer simply beacause the female Customer that cut in front of us sweetened up his ear and claimed we were intoxicated. Like hello I would not be driving intoxicated like that, but nevertheless I felt like JOEL had no right to treat us that way. I will never shop at any CVS store again, and i will definitely let my family, coworkers, and friends know about this incident. It is not fair, JOEL was very unfair without a reason. Dont shop here, thank JOEL, Gaedena, CA.

Absolutely incompetent pharmacy staff at this location. My dr sent a prescription for cough syrup because I have a horrible cough and I go to their drive thru at 8:30pm. The car which is already at the window has their car turned off so I assume they have already been there awhile. I wait behind them 10 minutes and they finally drive off without ever getting anything. I drive to the window and sit there for a solid 10 minutes before anyone comes to the window. A guy finally comes to the window and just stares at me. I say do you need something from me? and he looks confused. He closes the window and disappears for a minute, then comes back and says uh... Name. And uhhhh... birthday?, like hes asking me if that is what he is supposed to say. I tell him and he looks at his screen for a long time, then says I have to come inside. I wait in the drop off line inside for another 30 minutes and finally I talk to a guy who tells me my order is on hold. I ask why and he says he doesnt know. He tells me my insurance group number isnt recognized, which is odd because I have a very good, active, and expensive PPO and I pick up a monthly Rx with no problem. Then he tells me he cant give me my antibiotics with an incorrect group number. I tell him I am not here to pick up antibiotics and ask him if he even knows what my name is because it has just occurred to me that I havent told him yet. Then he looks like he is getting angry and he just walks off, clearly deciding that if he ignores me, maybe I will just go away. And, after this 90 minute long experience, while sick, I did just walk out. I dont trust this particular staff of just two very confused people to even give me the right medicine.CVS you seriously need to hire better pharmacy staff. I get it that you probably put your B-Team in there overnight, but this is a complete embarrassment. Abject confusion and prescription medication is a bad combination. I could see these two giving someone the wrong medication and someone ending up hurt.

Very rude.I was buying products as At 2:30 am as I normally do at this hour getting off work from the refinery.I noticed a manager watching which made me feel uncomfortable so I rushed to pay for my items.I asked why was she watching me as if she was security which enraged me.She replied quoteIts my store!I then preceded to tell her how I felt about her rude behavior and treatment of Customers.She never greeted or asked if I needed any help.I told her that I was calling corporate in the morning in which I have no problem doing.Shopping should be a great experience and just because someone else steals.I shouldnt be thrown in that category as anyone else thats spending their hard earned money there

I saw this Gardena CVS Store been built, as living by Harvard Blvd about 16 years, and last few months their service level from 5 Stars, went ZERO Stars. Starting by missing products by their shelf, no cash on ATM, broken Moneygram phone, what was replaced by a Moneygram machine that show all customer information on a big screen, and facing out giving visibility for all to see, old employees hate their new CVS management, and personally saying, I wont go purchase any on this store anymore, will go to Wallgreens from now on, as when at CVS, while auto-paying, these new employees/management keep looking at you like youre about to rob them... Oh, yeah, no smile from these new people. I would fire all their new employees, and promote old employees to help elevate CVS service level, as it was for years. Lily is a good option, or Mariahelena, for example, who all see giving their blood, daily, to safeguard company interest, and provide up and above customer service levels. Furthermore, I saw a lady who was trying to exchange merchandise purchased apparently with California EBT card, and wasnt only denied, but she was threatened by these new people who were saying that she could lose her benefits... Now theyre attorneys, or State representatives giving legal advice. A mess, nothing else than a total mess. Yes, I hate them, and Im not alone. There are many like me. Fix, or close, please!
