They fixed our car and it drives excellent. We will use them again if the need arises.
The front desk staff Amy is extremely rude, unprofessional, and has very little knowledge of automotive terminology. My experience with her on multiple occasions has been rude and abrupt. She over charges your service because she does not book appointments appropriately. If you ask for a oil change she adds on more then youve asked for which has happened on one or more occasion; ie scheduled something double, which charges you twice, for a service that is already being preformed. The first time this happened she called my husband after leaving a similar review asking a him to take the review down and they will make it right by giving us the money back she wrongly over charged us. Today while on the phone with her asking for my break down of charges she rudely told me she would have to call me back because someone was aganding infront of her, as if their business was more important then mine. I then noted it was probably best we cut our professional/business ties at this time and she got very abrupt and said her final good bye and hung up on me before I could ask her to leave my keys in the car with my receipt. This has been the worst experience with a business. Its honestly to bad that Amy is so unprofessional because the mechanics are great, personable, and very knowledgeable.... maybe they should be running the front desk? Double check your charges when using this facility, you never know what your double paying for......
Great team of talent and professionalism go into this company. Modern day technology with Old School attention to detail and quality. Highly recommend this group of talented people with customer service skills.
Professional and knowledgeable. Ive never had bad service here.
Aaron quarterbacked a recent engine rebuild on my 911--the rebuild itself was handled by Flat Six Innovations in GA, but Aaron managed the entire project. He is one of a handful, and I literally mean handful, of mechanics in the country that Jake Raby trusts to do his installations and initial break in procedure. That says enough right there. Jake went so far as to say that Aaron is one of the brightest car minds he knows of.My situation was slightly complicated, as the car had to be shipped from out of state, then transported back and forth between the shop and our new house in Maine (the engine rebuild took the entire Winter). Aaron handled it like a boss and made sure everything was where it needed to be at the right time.Long story short, the process was absolutely seamless and handled in the most professional, competent and timely manner I could have imagined. I have dealt with more than a couple Porsche shops around the country, and European Auto is as good as it gets. No joke.In addition to the engine removal/installation, I had Aaron adjust the suspension geometry and ride height of the car. This is generally an area where a person either has the touch and know-how, or they dont. I gave him some general parameters as to how I wanted the car to handle, and he nailed it. Best setup Ive ever driven, Porsche or other. In summary, if you are within a days drive or are cool with shipping a car, take it here. It will be worth it!
I called in.Although i did not wind up using them the lady qho answered was friendly and knowledgeable. I did not wind up using at this time, however i look forward to giving them a try in the future.
I recently had my 993 C4 Porsche serviced at European Auto... their operation is outstanding and I truly appreciated how Amy and her team accommodated my schedule. The work was performed professionally and at an affordable rate. I would recommend this shop to anyone with a high-end German vehicle that they need serviced... it’s well worth a drive !
These guys and gals are the best. Extremely honest, friendly and prompt service always. Big thanks to Amy and the service guys. I drive a hour away to have my car serviced with these folks.Bruce
Great service, nice folks who care about their customers!
Ive been taking my cars here for seven years and keep coming back. They are always professional, courteous, and most of all give my car the attention and care I want. Is it cheap? No- thats what the quick lube around the corner is for- but if you want the people who know your German car inside and out and know how to fix it right the first time, this is the place to go. Quite frankly considering this, Id call it a deal especially compared to the dealer! Moreover theyve also treated me exceedingly well. Theyre honest and frank, particularly useful for a hack mechanic like myself to decide what I can take on and whats best left to the pros. When I decide to take it on myself there is never any backlash.Theyve always done right by me and I dont see why they wouldnt do this for anyone else- highly recommended.
Love this place and the team. You wont find a better shop for your VW! There is a level of service here that is honestly outstanding, from scheduling to pick up. We stopped going to our dealership for service because EAS does a better job! The parts are genuine, the staff is incredible, and the hours are so convenient- even pick up is flexible. No, this is not a bargain shop; but it truly embodies the concept of you get what you pay for. It is absolutely worth it to support skilled, local people who are excellent in their field- this team knows European cars inside and out and will walk you through everything comprehensively.Do yourself a favor if you own any VW group vehicles: take them here.
One star, if I could give them less than I would. These fellows took a look at my car and decided to give me a completely false quote. Claimed my car needs a 4 wheel brake job pads and rotors because of surface corrosion (no pitting or grooves) from sitting for two weeks, in reality I changed the rear brakes and they have 15K on them, the front rotors are warped and they didn’t even catch that with a testdrive, they said I had a common oil leak on my “oil filter stand” which is actually called an oil filter housing gasket, I know this because I changed it 3 months ago, they claimed I needed a transfer case mount even though a visual inspection proved that false, I would expect serious vibration with this issue as well, none, plus the engine or transmission mounts are much more likely to fail before the transfer case, claimed my power steering fluid had evidence of mixed fluids and was overserviced, I flushed it myself with the recommended ATF several times when I first bought it (30K ago) and it’s level is just below the full mark and perfectly clean. The service advisor claimed the tie rod has play and then recommended the whole control arm for a fix, the tie rod and control arm are two separate components, when I questioned it she claimed the control arm, tie rod and ball joint are all one component. The tech referred to it as the front lower rear control arm, which is strange because there’s no front lower front control arm, but there is a tension strut, it’s unfortunate that neither the tech nor the service advisor could identify these parts they claim to be experts on. I’ve managed auto shops for 4 years and was a jet engine mechanic for the navy for 6 years, I know how to turn a wrench and how a maintenance facility should operate, these guys will take you for every penney you have with a big smile on their face. Super polite, completely dishonest, they have a Ferrari sign above their garage but then told me they don’t service Ferrari because it’s too expensive and not worth it. Maybe they should take the sign down instead of leaving it up implying expertise which they don’t have. The worst part about this is that I told them I had a maintenance log in the glove box that would have told them I completed these procedures recently, but they were too lazy to even bother looking, now they look like a bunch of dishonest thieves that are too lazy to open a glove box to save their own reputation. Places like this are why people don’t trust mechanic shops. If they pulled this on a guy who they know has experience and there is a log to prove that maintenance was done, imagine what they will pull if you go in there not knowing anything about auto maintenance. Avoid it like the plague! There are good mechanics out there just keep looking.
Five stars for this crew. I wanted a PPI on a Mercedes, and the seller agreed to my proposal that we use EAS. Scheduling was easy, they took the vehicle in promptly, and their PPI was very thorough. I liked that it was very picky, but, at the same time, realistic about differentiating between what they found and what the vehicle actually needed. They provided me a written report which I shared directly with the seller, and based on that I bought the vehicle. Don’t come here if you are looking for a bargain, but do come here if you want first-rate service on your European vehicle in the Augusta-Waterville orbit. Thanks guys.
Expert and thorough service for my Audi A4 and my former VW Jetta TDI.

These folks perform over the top service !
