The absolute worst Dollar General Ive ever been in. Dirty and unorganized. We waited in line for over 20 minutes while cashier argued with a customer over $2 with 5 people in lineFinally cashier bellowed for another employee to start checking people out. Save your time and avoid this store.

Prices are a little to high on some items but nice store and employees were extremely helpful and one was pretty funny!

Love the convenience & staff.Only negative is always huge carts in middle of isles of stuff to be put on shelves and no one doing it. Forcing a lot of waiting or going down diff isles to get to the other side.

Enjoy going to this store. A few employees remember who you are and make you feel welcome 😊

Not easy to shop especially with a cart 🛒. Seems like they are alowys putting things away or the carts full of merchandise is always parked in the isles. And clothing isle is more then overwhelming over packed and hard to find the the sizes or tags for price when you cant move other articles of clothing out of the way. But staff is very kind.

Its not the cleanest store that Ive ever been in but it needs a lot of work and the employees dont seem to care and the aisles are not very well stocked. Maybe Ill find a different one soon

I love our local Dollar General in Gardner Kansas. I love the staff that work there were always cutting up when I go in there. Its a great store to go to when you dont want to do the full Walmart experience. They always have everything Im looking for

The store was so clean and well taken care of! You can tell the attention to detail the managers must have because the whole store was faced with all the can labels facing forward and pushed to the front! It really makes a difference.The floor was really, really clean as well.I was very impressed with the Edgerton Dollar General!

I love it that you can get adult and childrens clothing here. Its not a broad selection but there was enough for me to buy my granddaughter who is a Size 5 two nice outfits for $9.99 each. I also got her a 10-pack of socks for $5 and the balloons which were $1 each except the Frozen one which was $2. The last who assisted me was wonderful, too.

Mixed review. Items were crammed on the shelves in most areas. Products, dirt, trash on the floor isles. Otherwise, lots of great items with excellent prices. Planning to shop here for Christmas stocking stuffers.

They should change their name as almost nothing here is actually $1 so vey deceiving unlike the dollar tree. Wish they still carried the jumbo gummy trolli bears outside it being marginally cheaper then the grocery stores rounding l wouldnt necessarily waste your time coming here.

The cashier was rude and even though I had my daily deal on the phone for the Powerade it did not ring up right and she pretty much brushed me off so I just let it be. Even though it is a further drive, I prefer to go to Edgerton or Olathe. Needed diapers so only reason I came here. Not pleased.

When I really like about Dollar General store is that they found a way to compete in a market large retail distribution systems.For example in the face of great big Internet online retailers or great being a mid west retailers that start with the letter W, Dollar General has made itself known, and I can always count on finding a nearby Dollar General good job.

This store is even more affordable than Walmart. They have food, kids toys, a small section of clothing, and many other items. Lots of items are buried in piles along the aisles. While this may bother anyone who is in a rush, it does add a small sense of adventure in searching for quirky little items or cool finds. They do try to organize a lot of items and they hang on shelves like typical similar stores. The employees are kind and helpful.

Over all, the places OK. The people who work there are about as intrested in their job as anyone would who works at Dollar General. But I will say the manager is lovely, at least I think shes The manager. Real big complaint with it is that its always extremely dirty, disorganized, and in need of some restocking. There are always lots of boxes around and carts with product. Be careful buying some items here. Some of the time these items are marked after and more expensive than getting them at Walmart. Specifically, this place is just alright.

This is an older store. There are a couple super nice employees who I enjoy getting to see. There are a couple who dont really have the knack for customer service. Inventory is hit-or-miss. They do seem to have very little staff so I believe that contributes to the lack of inventory. They do have a lot of big carts in the aisles which makes navigating the store challenging at times. I still shop there because prices on many items are much lower than Price Chopper.

I go to Dollar General store in different towns all the time. The one in Gardner is the worst. Its always cluttered. Theres always a racks of stuff sitting in the aisles and its so small. Its hard to get around in.

I like to visit Gardner Dollar General because I find different products than at other DGs. The customer service is great. Just a nice store to check out. They have great sales too.

Its nice to find a place in Johnson county thats not all hoity toity!

Shelves were tightly packed with merchandise and surprise sales. I even encountered a very helpful salesperson. My only critical note is the floor spaces are too tightly packed and it can be a challenge to get through the aisles with other shoppers let alone merchandise stacked into the same ais.

Friendly staff. Harder to maintain social distancing because of the small checkout area.

It is just so cluttery..boxes everywhere. Very much needs some Organization and a good washing.

It may not be the nicest or cleanest Dollar General you have ever been too but it definitely has everything you could need, and sometimes more. Employees are a bit rude sometimes but thats something you can look past. Would rather shop here than most Dollar Generals in the area.

The store is always a train wreck. The employees that have been there for quite some time are AMAZING. The help that changes like underwear should be changed makes me want to pull my hair out. Those employees that use the revolving door we dont see are RUDE AND USELESS.

I shop at this store quite often and the store is always unorganized and the cashiers always look like they are being forced to be there. They hardly ever greet customers when you enter the store. This store is no different then the intercity stores. I only shop here because they are the only dollar general in town.

Update 8/21/17 +⭐- It wasnt long ago, that common site was of total disarray for this DG. Now, its definitely better. Way better then it was just months ago. The new manager (I Believe) never stops. Darn near running to get things done. Guess what though? Its getting done. Much less crammed full of boxes with no organization. It used to be an odd Easter egg hunt to find the thing you came for, because you know it was there somewhere because it hadnt been stocked in months...but where was the question... I was good at it, although thats not an issue any longer...for the most part. Give them a bonus or something. This hasnt been easy for them. Ive seen the stress worn on their faces nearly everytime Im there, and Im there, nearly every 2 days. Not to mention Ive been shopping there for roughly 7 yesrs and this is the get best Ive seen since the first year or two.

The Dollar General always has very low prices. The only thing I dislike is the bathrooms, which require getting a key from the cashier.
