Good for convenience but prices can be high compared to the big box stores. Not to mention online... On the flip side, the weekly ads can have very good sales and are worth exploring. Help is typically very good but if theyre busy it could take a bit of time to get the help you need. As with all choices, pick your poison.

This local HDW store is simply outstanding! You’re always greeted at the door and offered help to find what you’re looking for. They have captured the home town feel with exemplary customer service. We like all the coupons offering Savings throughout the store. The coupons seem to never expire but you just can’t use them before the effective date. There’s no discretion for the employees on the coupon effective date. This is a great coupon program for their loyal customers. Well done Trails West Ace Hardware!

Gardner has a Great Ace Hardware, Trails West. It is a well supplied store, has everything a person would need from a hardware store. The people that run the store are just wonderful to work with as well as all associates, super friendly. Everyone is there to help whoever walks through the door and makes you feel important. They have good prices and sales. Stop in and check them out, you wont be disappointed.

We refuse to give Ace our business anymore after several bad experiences, poor management, and a confusing coupon system. We receive several coupons for being loyalty members, but mostly unable to use them when convenient for us due to their expiring dates or even starting date as to when you can use them. A manager at this location, Rick, refused to work with us for such a small coupon issue and lost a 45$ sale to argue with us. Rick puts his finger in my husbands chest when we requested contact information for Rick’s superiors. Needless to say, Rick lacks the customer service skills needed to produce a loyal shopping experience. Because of Rick, Ace will lose our return business.

For the location of the store you cant beat it. It has pretty much whatever I need or they are always willing to order for me. I have found they most of the employees enjoy working there and will go out of their way to help you. Would of given 5 stars but the prices can be a bit steep.

This is a really nice, locally owned, Ace Store. Always helpful, and if they dont have something specific sometimes they can order it for you. This trip they did a great job matching three poor paint sample I brought in!

Ace stores always have someone to help and answer questions. This stores staff were excellent. I am impressed with the technology they have and ability to lookup items. It seems that they are much faster at checkout than the big home stores...and I dont have to do it myself. Ace does it right!

All staff here are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Im always able to find what I need. I recommend shopping here over home Depot any day.

For such a small store their customer service is poor. I used to by feed there, back when the dad still ran it, i never touched the bag. Now, no one helps. They always have plenty of help, but they seem too busy talking among themselves.Just called for pricing on a bag of sand. It rang 6 times, now on hold for over 5 mins- i hung up.I try to support the local vendors, but they have to earn my patronage.

Took a car key in to be copied and the guy cut into my original key when copying it. Now the key doesnt work and Ill have to order a new one before I can drive my car. When I called them they told me were not responsible for any damage Im sorry what? I cant drive my car because YOUR employee cut it.

My husband and I were in and as our cashier girl was ringing our items he asked if Ace gave a military discount she yelled WHAT? Like he should be ashamed. His career in the Marines and later National Guard aside, her complete lack of customer service skills was baffling. This Ace Is Not For Us!
