Went in just to look, they had a good section of oriental veggies and to my surprise a section of different kinds of eggs. Everything from quail to duck eggs and even a few ostrich eggs. Walking to the back they had huge tanks of live fish, crabs and even a tank with live shrimp. I was in oriental store heaven. Their isles had tons of things I was unfamiliar with and many things I recognized but had never tried. I grabbed a few adventurous items, Korean deserts, a few fruits and vegetables and was on my way out the door. The cashier was really friendly and the workers were knowledgeable. I spent a total of 37 dollars for my products and tonight Im going to try a Asian stir fry.

Excellent place to do your shopping this place looks simple but many people come from various countries to buy here the treatment is friendly there is no distinction you enter and leave without any problem wish they had more asian products 😱😱😱😱

It has most anything one might want from Asia. They have a very large fish market priced right up there the same as beef.

Smaller and older supermarket that still has good selections of fresh produce, meat, and fish for similar or sometimes slightly higher price. We actually saw the same box of mangoes (Marathon) sold here for $3.99 compared to $5.99 at Hong Kong grocery store yeaterday. Glad these markets are still around to service the neighborhood. Id rather have 10 of these smaller stores sprawled around the community for convenience, rather than 5 larger, newer supermarkets that youd have to go out of your way to get there. All about the convenience.

I have been going to New Truong Nguyen when it was just Truong Nguyen and a different family owned the store. I can always get all of my Vietnamese food goods here. The place is dingy and hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time, but you can find good specials

Is it safe to shop there? I saw one reviewer mention the presence of an armed security guard. I dont know if I want to shop at a place so dangerous.

I dont know where to start. This place is just not good. Service was below the lowest of standards, and prices were pretty high compared to the other Asian markets in the area. Not sure how they aqquired their health permit, either. Probably wont be back.

Just don’t go there. Today on my way to return from this place, i saw one of the lady employee touched those basket and put her nose’s stuff on it. Yuck!!! How could you even do that? Not a clean place at all!!

I find all my Asian stuff here. You can buy alive crawfish in lbs and other sea food meat. The only thing I can say, be careful with their rice bags. I bought it from here and it had beetles. I couldnt take it back because I threw away the receipt.

Very clean and the prices are better than the large chains. I cant believe how fresh the seafood and vegetables are! They are taking Covid 19 very seriously. They clean the registers and checkouts after every customer. Come check it out!

Very traditional store, mostly famous for fresh seafood.

This place has more Asian vegetable and meat selection than Kroger or Walmart but fewer than H-Mart. The isles and items seem not posh and polish like other markets. This market is small and a bit run-down. The exotic vegetables and fruits are a bit pricey here. However, the canned and dry ingredients section for Asian food, especially Vietnamese food, here, is great.

Busy on Christmas Day. Great selection and prices.

Seafood prices are low my kids and I love shopping here customer service is awesome and they always have fresh food and new stuff to try.

Driving in the parking lot sucks since everyone drives as if theyre trying to off road or run everyone over. The parking lot is full of dips and pot holes so drive carefully to not damage your tire and rims. The inside of the store is dirty and isnt up to standard for cleanliness.

I usually come here to shop and make a second stop next door to Viet Tofu. Their selection is adequate and their prices are reasonable. The vegetables are fresh and they dont repack and stuff the old ones in the middle. However, theres no scale available for customers to use and only at the checkout lanes. The store smells clean and believe it or not, even at the seafood department in the back. They always have an armed security guard at the entrance and I dont know if they actually had crimes committed there or just to make people feel safe.

I love this place! I live 50+ miles away and I come here at least once a week to buy fresh meats (seafood, pork, chicken and beef) at reasonable prices and Way better quality than big box stores. The veggies and fruit are also fresh and delicious.

Always lure customers with good sale bit never found them in stores. Never come back

Small but mighty! I love this market. Looks a bit messy and subpar from the parking lot however, their produce is very fresh and the fish market is maintained well. I didnt even know that they had a fish market until my third trip. No fishy smell! This is very unusual for this type of market! They are doing a wonderful job! Lots of variety!

Really nice market, great meat section and produce. Also, a good selection of kitchen items, teas, noodle soups, and sauces. Many prices are lower than the chain supermarkets, especially sauces, and produce. Check out the Bok Choy, great price and quality.
