Early this morning I discovered that the catalytic converter on my vehicle has been stolen. I called the Meineke located at 5615 Broadway Blvd. in Garland, Texas. Randy answer the phone and he told me to come on in. He confirmed that yes indeed my catalytic converter was stolen and then he spent the next hour calling various distributors to see if you could find my vehicles model of catalytic converter. He was successful and saved me over $1000 compared to dealership fees. I am new to town and really appreciate it the professionalism and kindness experience here. You can be assured that I will be recommending their services I am bringing my car here for maintenance. I’m doing this recommendation because I believe anyone who comes here will be in good hands.
Randy was very helpful and kept me updated on the status of the repair. He went above and beyond by staying long after the shop closed to fix my car, as the first part they were sent was faulty, and he knew I really needed my car to get to work. Ill definitely visit this Meineke again for any future repairs and maintenance.
This place is a was a waste of time and money. I went in for ac repair and the tech told me I needed a compressor. I told him the compressor had recently been replaced but he insisted and told me how long he had been doing this. Needless to say i went elsewhere

That older guy in there is very rude. I refused to let them work on my vehicle. He acted as if I was the problem by simply coming in. I didnt trust them after that. I left immediately. I was ready to pay for whatever needed to be fixed. Went somewhere else and got everything fixed pleasantly.

My Initial visit was to have a break inspection because my car was making a horrible grinding noise. The Manager came out and said my breaks are perfectly fine however, I needed $1100 worth of work. I got the work done. At this time they “were very short staffed” and having so many issues according to the manager. When I got the call that my car was ready. He said I had to do the work myself one of my workers left their tools at home.....I picked up my car and noticed a few days later the car was making the same noise. I called up there they said bring it back in. Life got busy and I didn’t get a chance to take it back in. Fast forward 5 months. I went back to have them check their work and change my oil. At this point the previous Manager no longer worked there. The Manager on duty was polite and told me they would check their previous work, change my oil and check the grinding noise. When I got an update they told me our work was done correctly and is holding up however, I needed a few filters and my back brakes done which would cost a little over half a thousand dollars. At this point I said do the oil and filters and I will get a second opinion on my breaks. Which is what I did! Come to find out their was a bolt missing from the caliber on my front breaks! I am so dissatisfied this mistake could have costed me my life. Not one inspection but 2! I gave them a chance to make it right and they didn’t they failed me and I feel robbed. Thank God my kids and I are safe.Update: I took my vehicle to an actual mechanic who replaced a Wheel barring and the bolt. I am going to the BBB because this should have been caught in a break inspection most definitely!
I brought my car in for a timing replacement. Called ahead to reserve an appointment for the service and Mr. Waylane was very helpful. He advised me on a rough cost estimate and to arrive early as the job would be a time consuming one. Dropped the vehicle off first thing at 8am and they were through with the job by 2:30 same day. Shortly after drop off I was sent a thorough diagnostic summary of my vehicles overall condition showing me everything that was good as well as items in need of attention. Quick professional service and honest guys. Service came in under estimate as well. Shop is great for those of us that like to purchase our own parts and have the shop do the rest, though they will always check the parts you bring to be sure theyre correct for your car. Overall I am very happy with this shop and will be returning for further service in the future.
Waylon and his team were friendly and efficient, they went out of their way to help me. I came in to get my inspection done and Waylon got me in and out, I even went back to have them help me put my tags on due to the fact that the license plate holes were to far apart. I will definitely refer them to my friends and family as well as being a loyal customer.
This was the worst location I’ve been to. The guy at the front counter is unprofessional, made me uncomfortable and made inappropriate comments about a female customer out loud in the lobby after she left. She was like 20 and he was like 50 and sloppy, disgusting. They price gouge and tried to charge me $150 for a repair that I got done by an actual mechanic for half that. They are not honest here and will try and fleece you. Lesson learned.
I went in for a state inspection and the service was great and professional. After the inspection I was sent an email with all of my inspection report with pictures..thank you for being so detailed!!
I was told that my oil change and tire rotation would take about 40 minutes. I was shown my cabin air filter and was asked if iwanted to replace it. When I was told it was not in stock I declined. Then after the oil was drained from my truck I was told that my oil filter was not in stock and would have to be delivered. I was asked that since the oil filter had to be delivered, did o want to order the cabin filter as well. I declined. Once the oil filter arrived I looked into the service bay to guess how much longer I would be. My truck was up on the rack and the tech working on it was under my truck talking on his cell phone. I decided that I would see how management would take care of the situation as it was no now an hour and 20 minutes. I was offered no compensation or an apology. Had he offered to adjust my bill I would have given Meineke another chance but I will not be going to any Meineke ever
The guy inside the store had good customer skills, but the person that performed the inspection moved my car seat without asking, he threw my items in grove carport on the floor of my truck, and do to the Covid protocol he did not wear know gloves while driving my vehicle.
Well I went in on veterans Day... To try to get the free oil change that They were advertising...i was able to get in relatively quickly but ended up staying an hour and a half for my oil change... I thought that was a bit lengthy considering they basically started on it as soon as I got there... Im appreciative of the service but will not be returning... The guy who actually did the oil change was great but the guy running the counter must have been having a bad day...customer service needs work
Arrived on January 2nd of this year for a scheduled appointment at 8am to get an oil change. Arrived about 5 minutes early. The main reason I chose Meineke and this location, was due to a coupon I received via mail which was 50% off for an oil change. Needless to say, I was checked out at 10am. It took them 2 hours for a simple oil change. The staff member attending customers seemed to not be having a great start to the new year. I believe he was having technical issues, which is understandable. Things happen. I was in no rush nor did I mind the wait; although 2 hours for an oil change seemed extremely unnecessary. Technical issues or not, one should always be courteous and maintain a certain level of professionalism with each paying customer. They way I overheard him answer the phone (and greeting walk-in customers), I could tell how someone would feel as if they are bothering for calling that location and asking for information. No good morning. No have a nice day; apologies for the wait. No welcome to Meineke. Nothing. Staff members seemed unorganized. That will be my last visit to this Meineke location. I recommend Brakes Plus in Rowlett for any auto repair services. They are courteous, professional, they get the job done in a timely manner and provide free shuttle service. Ask for Josh or Kevin and they will take care of you. Avoid this location.

This has the appearance of an independent oil change and wannabe mechanic shop operating under a trusted brand name and label, while not meeting up to the specific standards of the brand name and label.Driving up to the service center, the outside appearance of the location did not appear to be well maintained. Please forgive me if it seems cynical or skeptical of me to then question the companys ability to maintain my vehicle.I pulled in across the street, still hopeful considering they did not appear to be busy. I see four service bays, however it appears that two of the bays are utilized for tire storage and display. Of the other two service bays, there is only one vehicle in sight. I called the store to see how much the oil change would cost me you utilizing the coupon that I found for this specific location using the Meineke app.The first two times I called it rang until I was prompted to enter a passcode. The third time I called it rang almost as long as the first two times when an out of breath person whose name sounded like Chris answered the phone. When I asked if they were busy he sounded irritated to have to be interrupted to be on the phone with me and had a tone that indicated I should already know the answer to this question.So I asked him about the coupon that I found on the app and I asked him how much the oil change would cost with that coupon applied. To my dismay he informed me that, although I did find the Meineke coupon for the Meineke retail location that he worked at through the Meineke app, they werent actually accepting that coupon at that location. He told me that those are mostly for corporate stores and the owner of his franchise has told him not to accept them. Then he went on to quote me a rate of almost $70 for an oil change.I trust Meineke, this location however, I do not trust.
Went for an inspection Was overall a good experience although most of the staff are kinda rough around the edges, rude, short with you when your trying to communicate with them about simple questions.
Took my car to this location on 12/19/2020 due to a squeaky noise coming from my brakes. Front brakes/rotors were replaced a week ago from another shop. I wasnt sure if the noise was coming from my newly replaced brakes or my back brakes.I took my vehicle to this location because they offered a free diagnostic test, and I wanted to get a second opinion before I contacted the original shop that replaced my front brakes, and rotors. I was advised that I just needed a lubricant applied to my front brakes, and there would be no charge.I left my car there feeling positive about the service, and came back a couple of hours later to find I was being charged $18 for the lubrication/diagnostic test. Not that the $18 is a big deal, but had I known I was going to get charged I would of taken my car back to the shop that originally replaced my brakes.Drove my car to the gym this AM 12/20/2020, and my brakes are still squeaking. I wasnt planning on writing a negative review, but I received automated text message from the shop to write a Google review so here it is.Update** 01/19/2021The number the owner provided is a general number for Meineke to book an appointment. I had to get another number to speak to a rep to get my issue escalated. Meineke corp advised that this was a legitimate charge via vmail a couple of days later. I attempted to contact Meineke corp back to get clarification of their findings, but I never received an response.Then I went through my c/c company to dispute the $18 charge. I received a response today from my c/c company 01/19/2021 (a month later from original charge), and was advised they had no grounds for the charge. All n all I had to wait 1 month for a resolution with no assistance from this Meineke franchise or Meineke corp. 1 star review still holds.
Ron and his team are fantastic. He ensured that my car received the best service. He kept me informed through their online app, which is great. Gives you up to date info and photos of your vehicle. Allows you to make decisions on the spot. Love it. Kudos to you Ron and your team. Keep up the great service. You are truly appreciated.
It cost more than I expected for the oil change I needed with my State Inspection, even with a corporate coupon for $20. I ended up needing a cabin filter for the same amt.Took a little longer because they didn’t have oil filter for my car then supplier delivered wrongone, but that’s not their fault.It was about the same as other quick lube places but I would go back.
Had my radiater changed at this location cone to find out they charged me for the most expensive brand new one, instead I got a refurbished one, costing 350 whre there were many brand new ones for 180. On top of that I was charged 180$ to fill it back up with coolant told me apparently that also cost an hour of labor. Be careful they will try to over charge you, stick to oil changes with these people.
Waylane was nice to me but it seemed like he was getting irritated at his employees. I thought that was a little unprofessional. Someone else came in and they started the oil change on his truck and they didnt have the filters. Maybe have some better inventory practices. So far my car seems to be running fine and I liked that they rotated the tires with synthetic oil change. Overall my experience wasnt bad and have minor things to improve on.
I have visited this establishment a couple times now, and each time is an easy stress free process to get me in and out in a timely manner. I will be returning here for my service needs for the forseeable future!

Had myoms car inspected. Manager was so helpful. Told him I needed to get tags. He told me where I could get them. I told him I was going to sell the car. He made good suggestions for. Such a nice guy all the way around.
My husband brought our vehicle in for an oil change and had to take a break from work to do so. WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT and a coupon from the dealership we purchased our car at. It took over two hours for them to complete the oil change and he was late getting back to work. They also didn’t honor the coupon despite stating they would over the phone. Next time we will use the place in the town we reside. It’s much quicker and costs about the same if paying full price. We will not be repeat customers.
I had an exhaust system replaced and Jess and his team of Technicians was fast and professional. The exhaust system the team installed look awesome and I have no issues or problems. They took very good of my vehicle.
I accidently pulled too hard trying to put the window up on our way home. We were out of town, almost an hour from home, for wye surgery. We stopped here to see of they could fix it or order a part. Quick answer no they cant fix it but let them if I wanted them to price out the replacement. After sitting in the car for a few minutes we decided to find out about the part. They said they could get the part in an hour. Then he calls someone to see of they have the part (disappears to speak discretely). Comes back tells us that not only will it take 3-5days but it will also cost $300!!!! Obviously decided that we wouldnt take that option. Immediately called the Dodge dealer and they said there would be a wait for the part but for the part and labor it would cost $150. The dealership charged half. Made me feel like they were trying to get over on us because we were kind of in the bind. The window didnt roll up. Didnt even attempt to see if they could raise the window (would have paid for that service as well).Update: The part was not available at the dealership but they offered to try to raise the window until the part was available. Something Meineke told me could not be done and didnt even attempt to try. They raised the window for FREE even though I would have been willing to pay for the service.
My wife took our jeep to be looked at. While they did find the issue she was complaining about she went ahead and paid for a tire rotation. The work was never done. I did the brakes two days later and found the same tire on the rear drivers side was still there. I know because I had just plugged it. Also tried to tell her the water pump needed to be replaced even though it was working just fine
Been here a couple of times and have been treated with respect. Mike knows his stuff and I trust him with my vehicle. I only go for a few things like State Inspections and alignments, since I do most of the work on my truck myself. I enjoy talking with Mike when Im there.

The establishment opened at 8am. I was there at 7:50 & it was already open so I went inside. All I needed was an oil change & they had a deal going for $49.99 for synthetic oil so i figured I would save some money. AND seeing as no other customers were there & I was the only one I figured it wouldnt take but maybe 30 minutes to be done to get in & out of there. I sat there for almost 3 HOURS for an oil change. 2 hours & 34 minutes into sitting there...the counter associate approched me informing me that they didnt have any nissan filters at the shop so It would be delivered within another 20 minutes. WHY NOT CHECK INVENTORY before you lift someones car up & have them sitting there for HOURS. Check before hand. I could have saved myself so much time going elsewhere, had I known there was issues with the shops inventory & Customer Service. Another customer sitting there, informed me while he was waiting like I was (he came in after me) he let me know this establishment ALWAYS has issues going on. Short staffed all the time & They keep people sitting for long periods of time & the communication & customer service isnt all that great. I Will NEVER give this business anymore of my money or time. No Thank You. When it was finally time to pay...i politely asked if I was going to get a discount due to the Rediculous wait and inconvienience. He said no he cant do that cause he can loose his job. Well sir. You lost another customer. I take my future business elsewhere. No wonder i dont see many people at this establishment. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH IT. The service and the work was great! But I was told several times that I was under quoted. I replied well sir you have to take that up with the person who did the quote and not be upset at me like I entered in to the computer.

This is actually the only location place I go for alignments and oil changes. Its right near my office but a distance from my home and I still come. Best pricing I have seen for full synthetic and the guys are always helpful. If you dont want to spend a lot of time there on the weekend just be there when they open.
I just moved to the garland area. I researched several automotive places that can take care of my auto repair needs. I am very satisfied with my choice. First of all, although he was extremely busy, Ryan managed to take care of not only me but the others that were waiting as well. He was very honest, polite, and caring. It was the best experience I have ever had at a auto repair facility. I will definitely be returning as regular customer.

Will not be going back! Did not appreciate the managers attitude!! I was not aware prior to checking out that a car inspection in this area cost $25 verses the standard $7 any where else. When I asked about the charge after the fact.. I felt like I was being talked down to by this individual. Would have appreciated some honesty on the front end!!
I dropped my mini van off and it sounded like it always had, I had a traction control light and abs light on. I dropped it off at 830 am and called them to follow up on the progress a few hours later, they still hadnt checked on it. Then a few hours later I called and asked Ron the manager and he said he mechanic got hurt and would probably return later today. They kept it overnight, it sat there all day Friday with no one checking it, all the while no phone calls were made to me to let me know anything about the van I was the only one that called to check on it. I showed up at 555pm on Friday and they said all they had gotten to was taking the tires off and that took them an hour and a half to do that. When I spoke with Ron he assured me it would be ready that evening and that they would keep working until it was finished. Then he said in person that the company wont allow them to stay past 6, so there was another lie and story change by Ron the manager. He assure me it would be ready by 10 am the next morning. We pulled in and they pulled out my van and it sounded like it was going to explode. I was informed that there was an exhaust leak and they didnt know why. Then Saturday morning they said your pipe is broken all the way, so it went from a leak to a complete break and they dont do mufflers there. It cost us 1127.00 to have the two front hub assemblies replaced. Ron said he doesnt buy his parts from autozone or oReillys but when I looked at the line items for the parts they had the model # and autozone was charging 200 less each part. They charged me for 3.15 hours of labor when I know it didnt take them that long. So I dropped it off with the muffler sounding fine and then picked it up with a broken muffler they couldnt fix. So I was reemed on that job and they broke my muffler. They marked up the pricing so high and kept my car almost 3 full days and on top of that left grease foot prints in the floor of my van. They said to take it to a muffler shop and it get welded. So then I had to take it to aaa muffler in garland and they said they could have done the same job for 500 less. They also said I would need a new pipe and new motor mounts, how did meineke trusted car care mechanics miss that one if it was on a lift for over 3 hours. Long story short meineke will never receive any more business from me. The manager Ron is incompetent and will change his story in order to cover his behind. I have spent thousands of dollars at meineke over the years and the meineke if garland has broken the camels back. They are untrustworthy and will break items on your vehicle so they can charge you more and they will charge you 3 times the retail price of any parts to make more money. I trust aaa muffler as they fixed the pipe and motor mounts in 3 hours so we could have out minivan for the weekend for our family trip.Thank you Ron at Meineke Garland for saying wow like a child would when I said thank you and handed you over a thousand dollars for a 600 job. Please dont trust this location and be cautious at any meineke...its a racket!
I went to this location to have my oil changed. The guys there were very friendly and completed my oil change in a timely manner. The waiting room was a comfortable temperture and clean.
Horrible customer service. Mitchell is the worst supervisor. If you value your car STAY AWAY...They will not try to help you. Their so called tech cant do a basic oil change and tune up. I literally had to pay someone to go behind them and fix their rush job. THE WORST and Yes i called corporate.FOlLOW UP: I spoke with Corporate and they sided with me and my Husband and have escalated the issue. Again if you value your money or car stay away. A $200 job cost us $400 during a pandemic due to Mitchell being a jerk.

If I had not gone to Meineke and had the oil change and thorough inspection done on my car I would not have found out my car had been wrecked! We were taken advantage of by Tovi Motors in McKinney but thanks to Meineke we took our car to Kia and since it was secretly wrecked (not reported to Car Fax by the dealer) we had to pay for the repairs but now it will be back under warranty. Thank the Lord! Just thankful for the thorough job at this place in uncovering our cars issues. God bless Meineke!

I went there for my annual state Inspection but the technician have so many recommendations such as air and cabin filters which I just replaced two weeks ago. They got me with very expensive trico wipers $38 for both else my car would fail in the inspection because, per technician, both wipers were streaking! I just added the wiper fluid a couple of weeks ago and had a car wash last week and there was no streaking or extreme streaking. Wont be coming back
Im currently here on my lunch and theres a bit of a wait but the customer service experience so far is worth praising. This guy Justin is always on the phone( in a good way) helping customers and talking to potential customers but he genuinely seems to want to help them not sell them on things. They are currently assisting a customer search for a part and they are going out of her way to make this part more affordable for her. I feel like I could trust them to not rip me off and thats a rare feeling from car people. Plus they saved me money on my oil change. Im really glad I came in today 😊
I brought my car here for brake noise which they told me was fixed. However, when I left my car was making the same exact noise. I brought the car back and informed the manager on duty. He and the technician test drove my car and corrected the problem and provided and explanation. I left satisfied.

The store has great technicians and all the equipment required for any type of repairs. They also have a couple of Master Technicians capable of repairing any type/brand of vehicle. The store services over 5,000 vehicles per year and they are doing their best to be perfect. If you are looking for a 20 minutes quick Oil Change on a Saturday, this store wont be the best choice.

As a female going in by myself I did NOT feel that I was taken advantage of (like most places) .He gave me fair prices and took the time to explain everything to me. I went into the Meineke of Garland for an oil change last month. They recommended front brake pads on my Nissan Altima the last time I was in. Sure enough this month my car was grinding and squealing.The manager was able to give me a great deal on my brake pads they even resurfaced my rotors.Very fast and cost-efficient. Once again they have Save the Day thank you again.
The manager Richard is freaking awesome! His staff is freaking awesome!!! Everyone including the staff is amazing and super helpful. Went in for an oil change, did a free inspection underneath the car, told me what was needed and the cost! The guy is honest which is a huge plus in the business!!! My Honda Civic Hybrid was having trouble and after calling around, I ended up talking to Richard Newton, the new manager at the Meineke on Broadway. (He was the only one I talked to who knew that my type of car doesnt have an alternator - that clinched the deal for me.) After an accurate diagnosis, they went the extra mile to shop around for parts to find the best price and fastest delivery.
My husband and I initially had a good experience but after they worked on our vehicle it started to make a strange noise the same day we got it back... We brought it back a couple of times and was basically told it was the AC fan and that it was a coincidence it was damaged on the same side they worked on (they replaced the AC line) and well have to pay an additional 900 dollars to repair the issue... The noise only came when we would turn the air on and it would gradually get louder (as if something was loose)... We had no issues besides our air not getting cold prior to bringing our vehicle to them. The noise literally started the same day they worked on the vehicle. Its not a coincidence we will not be giving them our business moving forward. Not to mention the workers poor customer service. They basically didnt care as long as we were spending our money.
The gentleman at the front counter was very through and explained the prices and the time that it would take to get my tire repaired on my 15 Ford Explorer. They immediately took the tire to the shop and repaired it and was in and out in no time at all. At anytime I need a tire repaired, I would not hesitate in taking my vehicle back to this location. Great work and even better customer service.

Very satisfied new manger helps emmissly and with a $20 oil change they do a free 4 points inspection. will be coming back again customer service is impeccable.

I came in around 2:45 p.m. for an oil change. I didnt leave until 4:55 p.m.They didnt have an oil filter for my car and I had previously called in for a 3 oclock appointment. L
Friendly service and faster then most places
Very friendly and professional, came up here with my dad and him and the mechanic talked old war stories while they looked at the car, free service check because they dont want I to have to spend more than you have to. Just good honest people not trying to take advantage of women like most mechanics do.not to pricey either you gotta understand that these people need to make a living to and labor is always pricey.
My husband went in after work for his free oil change on Veterans Day. He was told that they could no longer honor that because they were booked solid. The best they could do was offer him 25% off for another day. Why would you offer a service for veterans that you are unable to keep. They should have issued a rain check for a free oil change on another day. They will not be getting any of my business.
This shop is really a go to place. Well organized and clean. The staff is very very friendly. And the manager Chris is really helpful and seems like a very trusting guy. My experience here was great and i will keep coming here.

I will never go to Meineke again! Went in to have an inspection done. It was very slow and my car went straight in. Bruce the guy doing my inspection must be the only one that can do anything there. While performing my inspection, which would normally take 10 mins tops. The GM stepped out and another guy took his place at the counter. The District Mgr. comes in and the two sit down and start talking personal stuff. Customers are coming in and needing help at the counter. So Bruce has to stop what he’s doing, go and help the people at the counter, while the two sit and watch Bruce help the customers at the counter. He had to stop 6 times during my inspection! Took 45 mins because of the interruptions! Just so the District Mgr and his buddy could sit and chat.
The manager Ron is a great guy and a man of his word. I asked him for help with my brakes and they were finished quickly.Take my word and trust these guys with your car needs.

Place needs new management. I had to take my car up there 3 times to get my brakes checked. Manager turned me away the first two times cause It was 30 mins till closing ‘which I kind of understand’ the third time I had someone take my car which I told the manager I was gonna do the day before and my car wasn’t pulled in till the end of the day.
If I could give negative stars I would. I have a fleet of 40 vehicles and was checking out possible service stations. The Mgr Robert/Rob was the rudest person Ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with. He was pushy, argumentative and when I asked for the owners name and phone number, because I had a 20 missing from my cup holder, he refused to give me the info, said my business was not welcome back at his store. Made a complaint with BBB, TWC, and my wife wants me to make a report with police! Watch your bank accounts and items in your car, someone has sticky fingers... Never again..
Spent more than i would have liked, but got my oil and filters changed. Helped me identify problem areas.
Definitely did not get the oil change package I paid for. Car ran out of oil 2,000 miles prior to what was stated on the receipt and the sticker they provided. Do not waste your time and money.
