I had the time of my life at Marks birthday party.

This has been my favorite gaming shop for the last 5 years or so. Love the table top community in all its consistent and varied systems.Been a dungeon master for adventure league at this store and the staff have been heavenly with their support of organized play.Here is to 5 years, and a hope for 5 more.

Walked in to see what I can learn about disc golf. And Chris was very informative and made some recommendations. I ended up getting a starter pack. Lets see how I do! Thank you Chris!

Just dropped in to pick up a game, but it looks like a good local game store. Plenty of room with tables open to sit down and play. Not sure if they host regular events or game nights, but looked like they had the space. Didnt have as huge of a selection as some larger game stores, but it looks like a good selection overall.

Weve needed this place for so long! Garlands best and local game shop. Cards, RPGs, and more -- Brickhouse makes a friendly atmosphere for East Dallas geeks like me! This is a play store. Bring your Magic decks, Pokemon cards and character sheets, then check out the stores cards and merch. Plan to spend an afternoon chatting with the store owner and the manager. Its worth every minute!

The owner was friendly and knowledgeable of any questions I asked. They have a large selection of trading card games (e.g., Magic the Following) and a wall of popular board games. Asked questions regarding two people board game play and the owner walked me through the type of game play and level of player for each of his suggestions. Will return for future purchases.

Stopped by from out of state during the Covid pandemic after businesses were allowed to open, but before any events were allowed to occur. The owner was super awesome to chat with and I was able to get some sweet MTG cards for various commander decks I am working on. Their card selection was very extensive and they had two full binders of alt art and foil cards. Overall a great experience.

Great gaming store. Being new to RPGs I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The store was very clean. They had drinks and things to munch on, however if your feeling more than peckish, there are several restaurants in the shopping center. I live several miles away but I will gladly drive the 40 minutes!

Was a great place but had a little bit of a clique-y feel to it. Opponent rage quit hard in my first match and then refused to sign the result sheet, store staff forced him to sign the result sheet but they acted as if he had been like this in the past. If I were running the store, I would not allow insufferable people to continue to play there, but thats my only complaint.

My favorite place to go play Pokémon TCG. The owners are really great and inviting to new players of all games. Highly recommended

Great store!Fun atmosphere and good prices. Its truly a great place to go and hangout. The owners are fun people and gamers themselves. They are open to groups looking to play tabletop RPGs, (D&D, Vampire the Masquerade, Paranoia, etc), people looking to make friends and play Magic the Gathering, or friends looking for an open space to play board games.The owners are just getting started and I cant wait to see the stores evolution over the next year. I look forward to visiting often as I can.

Jared is a very nice guy. Fnm in standard is fun. I play standard but recently I tried playing modern. Modern players here are real competitive but that makes all the more better when you beat them. Lol. Everyone there has fun. Theres a few places to eat and he allows you to pick a table that isnt being used and enjoy your meal. Prices are normal like all other shops but whos gonna argue that... Its magic duh. It cost no matter where you go. I encourage you to come out and hang out. Matter of fact I dare you to come and hang out. Lets see what that deck can really do. Theres gamerooms on both sides of it. No matter what you do the park. Da Boys bar, or cardgames or casino style gaming. Brickhouse games for the location and the area ....no brainer here. Im all in to get the most of my cash outs!

Its a great place to play magic and other tabletop games. They have a MTG, DnD, Pokemon, and other events regularly. The owners are very helpful and nice, Taylor especially. The community they have built there is very helpful too. Ive seen many magic players stop to help newcomers learn the game many times.

Game playing space galore!! Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, D&D, Warhammer -- every night, dice are rolled and cards are drawn. Cheerful staff make it easy to dig into the community. Usually no kids, but its kid-friendly for a place of this type. Dont look for many comics, but you are always bound to find fans.

Only 4 star because it looks like theyre just getting settled in, so the TCGs available are mostly MTG. I have no doubt this will change as they settle. The layout of tables is very spacious compared to other card/game/comic shops. The staff is kind, funny and knowledgeable; you can tell they love this stuff.Theres a large collection of paintable miniatures, plenty of board games, and many TCG cards and supplies. They do trade/buy cards and have gaming meetups.It felt nice to be in a card/gaming shop that has room to breathe.

Great shop, great atmosphere, excellent staff!! The icing on the cake is their hours, other shops in the area close waaaay too soon. However the only downside is that they dont offer Yu-Gi-Oh merchandise. Which is cool, but it be cooler if you did.

I play DnD here regularly, and its great. Very nice, some cool games, dice and minis to buy, and reasonably priced snacks for your mid game break.

Ive been coming here for about 2-3 years now. Its honestly like a second home. Its a great place to play Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, board games, tabletop, D&D and whatever else you want to play. Management is incredibly friendly. They also have a good selection of game accessories and tasty snacks. A Smash tournament was held here once and I hope they hold some more.

Wish they had more sales, but its okay I still spend a lot of money there.

I finally got back into D&D again by finding a meetup group that led me to Brickhouse. Im fortunate to live so close to such an excellent shop. They have a large group of MtG players, tables for Warhammer, and they offer D&D Adventure League on Thursdays and Saturdays. The space to play in is ample and they coordinate signups for D&D through a Facebook group. They also have a small selection of paintable figures for various games, D&D accessories, and they sell MtG singles/packs. Snacks are also available behind the counter. The owner is very kind and did everything he could to make me feel welcome as I returned to D&D after a 10 year hiatus. The D&D groups are excellent and well coordinated, and occasionally the senior DMs will put on a clinic to encourage new DMs to start running games. I hope this shop lasts for a long, long time because I think all the factors that make it work so well would be hard to ever replicate.

The helpful owners, along with the friendly regulars, are always ready to help even the even the noobiest noob get up to speed!From the very beginning Brickhouse has worked hard to develop a strong Magic: The Gathering community and although theyve only been opened for a few months, Brickhouse has quickly established itself as the premier place to play MTG on the East side of the Metroplex.If you live East of downtown and are driving anywhere else to play Magic, you should really check out this place in your own back yard.
