You will be surprised with few random items that you don’t have in the cart.The cashier who was a skinny young girl ringed me for the products that I haven’t purchased. Be careful and check your receipt carefully. I paid with my debit card and the receipt has a item that says EBT.

This store has got it all from fresh foods to canned foods and packaged foods and kitchen utensils. I get my veggies here and my fave rusks and ethnic yogurt and masalas and spices and cooking oil. I even visit the lil cafe they have in the back. Their buffet is decent and for a good price. I mostly go for the fresh samosas and patties and even their chai. I always come back here to grab my essentials

Ive been shopping here for years and in the last 4-5 years, quality of their products have gone down the drain. Most of the grain is cheap and of sub par quality, grade C stuff, products are expired.

For sher-e-punjab restaurant.Good quality stuffed parathas. Probably best in Dallas area. Taste and quality is good.Only con is that they did not provide tap water as part of the service, we were forced to buy water by the bottle.

This place is an excellent source for bulk nuts, spices and flours, and bulk dates.. I try coming hear every month just to stock up on essentials in the kitchen.

I purchased 11 pound dates from this location and they were expired and rotten. The dates made me very sick, I went by tonight to try to return them, and when I got there the cashier and workers were being very rude and unprofessional. They wouldnt let me return or exchange the dates for some fresh ones. One of the employees tried to assault me, his name was Suhabe. This is a very unprofessional location. I am going to follow up with the Garland Health Department in regards to this situation. I do NOT recommend shopping here at all. Ive been a customer for over 15 years and I am deeply disappointed in there service.

Great selections for Indian spices and snacks !!

There is a buffet restaurant at the back that is serving food on request for each item onto a plate due to covid restrictions. Good food. Low budget. Extra for drinks. Clean place. And the store has a lot of grocery available to run errands and pick up what is needed on the way out. As well as money sending services. And a boutique that sells Asian clothes and accessories that is open until like 5 pm. Bathrooms are in store too.

We recently went there for dinner. More than half of the food wasnt fresh. It was definitely a made a day before and refrigerated and heated and served. They were advertising around 25 items for 6:99 in their buffet on their weekly flyer. But there were hardly 10 items on the buffet. Their ad was misleading. And their strategy works. Since a hungry person wont come back after going so many miles!. So we ended up eating there. Also the food was very oily everything including rice and desert. There was no starter or appetizer. A total waste of valuable money! Better go to chipotle or taco bell . We ended up paying $15.50 including tax for 2 buffets.not to forget there was no neatness and hygine also. The saddest part was we also had to clean our table before we sat for dinner .

The store is great, my 5 stars are for the amazing food offered there. Family enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Halwa puri, Payee, kadi, butter chicken naan... Yum yum all under $7. And to wrap up... delicious Chai!!Don’t miss it ( I don’t mind them serving you the buffet, instead of one helping themselves. Yes it takes long but the waste is minimal.(Sonia Gee is very sweet)

Best Indian grocery in garland

I like this place the most for the weekend buffet. The buffet is way worth for the price they offer. The people are nice and welcoming. Apart from this, they also have all Indian groceries available which I get once in a while.Also I would suggest the management to keep the sanitation and restrooms clean all the time. They need to spend some time and money on this. I had a very bad experience once.

I used to like this store. They have all the ingredients i need but, people who work there dont wear masks and ir made me extremely uncomfortable. My parents shop there sometime but i am going to tell them to shop elsewhere.

Sabzi Mandi is my favorite store now for desi food shopping. Starting from Maggi noodles to Pran pickle, Parle G biscuit to Kurkure, I found everything here that often satisfy my craving for desi food. They also have shelves full of vegetables that we dont find at other American stores, like mustard leaves, green eggplant, curry leaves, etc. I would give them one extra star if they had frozen fish too, but sadly they dont sell neither meat nor fish frozen.

I always go here to get rose water and other hard to find items I use to make my own hair sprays and butters. Very reasonable priced and good to find authentic indian cooking ingredients.

It is a good store but the problem is that despite being so big it doesnt carry most of the key desi groceries. We find India Bazaar better.We didnt find the desi roti, certain spices and the naan family packs over here, even though we visited multiple times.

This review is for the buffet. the cashier who took the money from me for the buffet said that they will come to me and ask what I want to eat from the buffet. But nobody came to us to ask us what we want to eat. After waiting for 20 minutes I went to them and asked them when they are going to bring the food to us. And after confronting them about that only then they served food for me from the buffet. Horrible experience. And to put the icing on the cake, after we ate their food we got severe diarrhea which lasted for several days

Here you mostly get expired items so make sure to check dates on product before purchase.Giving 2 start just because they keep fresh vegetables at times.Parking space is good including handicapped parking.You will get Indian Paan(betel) as well.They have a small cafe where food is available at cheaper rates.

A great place for desi groceries and snacks. We travel several hundred miles to Dallas, Texas, to visit friends, and on the way back we pick up several hundred dollars worth of groceries from this place. Prices are reasonable and very clearly marked for each item. Choices are great as well. The staff is always very polite and helpful.I highly recommend this store.

By far the best place to buy Indian food, exotic foods and those hard to find oils, spices and HONEY! they even have a rack of honey in a comb. I live downtown and make the drive here every 2months to get what what i need organic neem powder, rose water and soaps instead of ordering online. So, Worth the drive. Better than Indian Bazaar in my opinion. 😊

The restaurants people the minute they know you are not Indian and you are there to pick a food to go wow wow you will surprise! When you pick what you like I mean the buffet they stand next you and tell you u can’t pick this and that how the hell you tell pay customer what to pick.

We went from Frisco to have chat but the women said check our food we were hesitant but she said if u eat once u will come again and again for 6.99 we took it and 1 plate chat we were shocked at that price food and chat were excellent the women service was great I thin everyone should try it

Delicious snacks (really cheap)..

A big variety of rices (red, brown, and white). I love the brown the most because they are super healthy and in rich fibre. I used to buy brown rices in Asian stores but never found some sort of brown rice which taste better and softer.

Wonderful place for finding fresh vegetables and much more. Very polite and cooperative working crews. Decent prices on almost all stuffs . Recommended to Asians to find out all there required daily stuffs for kitchen and over all home.

Worst customer service, called to ask a price for Tandoor (it’s expensive item), so I wanted to get an idea before I make 30 miles one-way trip. The rude lady who answered the phone told me that she cannot tell me the price, I was trying to give her reason and she HUNG UP the phone.

This place has decently priced veggies. Masala packets are great for easy cooking if you like spice. They have frozen, ready to eat and east Asian treats as well. Just dont expect a whole foods environment.

Very Good Place to buy Indian Grocery

Prices are ok on some items. some items dont even have prices on them at all and you have to take it to the front just to find out, just a hassle sometimes. They have a lot of options of products you cant find elsewhere and most of them are reasonably priced. They usually only have one or 2 registers open so takes a while sometimes to check out. Some of the items had mold or bugs in it when we bought it but they gave us a refund on them when we took them back. Just be careful and check the expiration date as we have bought some items that were expired almost a year ago.

This place is perfect scam of all the expired products. We went there to buy Maggie sauce the product was already expired we again went there after a week they removed the date tag from the product and are selling the same sauce you guys should be ashamed of doing this. The sauce are consume by kids too.

The only reason I’m even giving this one star is because of the salon. The lady who does eyebrows is amazing. Other than that... they take no health measures. Extremely dirty inside and the cafe is all kinds of unhygienic.

I love to shop here, Specially love their food and the pretty lady Sonu, she is the best. Always smiling, willing to help and always makes her customer feel special. There should be more people like her who knows what a real customer service is. I also would like to mention Sheeba, who is also very helpful and courteous. I have been going to this place for 10 years now. I love to shop here

Customer service is typically always the worst at these DESI establishments, forget about asking for any help they will make you feel ashamed and embarrassed for disturbing them, you get in the checkout lane and they will start ringing next customer even before you are able to pick your items and you will get the look like get the hell out of here.Its a typical indian behavior on their part that they are the boss and you are there to interfere in their routine.Very sad!!!

It was the worst customer service experience ever . Wont give them any business in future and I will make sure none of the people I know go there either .I walked in and said Hi to the accountant lady in yellow shirt, she asked me where I was from and as soon as I told her, she ignored me went on to serve another person and started talking to her while giving me a rude look. Fact is the person she was talking to was my employee and i was his boss . She grabbed food with her bare hands so I ended up throwing it away and I will make sure no one from my business goes to this horrible place . It has left me in a very bad taste and her personality reflects the kind of upbringing she had . I am writing these reviews everywhere and I dont know if I can contact someone higher to make sure people like her dont work there anymore . I wish I could give this place zero stars.
