I cant recommend these guys. They dropped off my forklift yesterday at the wrong address... somewhere 50 miles away from our business... AND charged us a $300 delivery fee. When we called back today, they just passed me off from representative to representative, then hung up on me. We received better customer service from the high school kids running the pizza joint in town.

Ive always been treated wonderfully from this company. They have a great location and plenty of inventory for all of your needs. I have also taken my scissors lifts here to be repaired. Lonestar is represented well by Aaron and Kevin and Im sure other I have yet to experience. They (especially Aaron) have went out of their way to make sure I had parts for my Allen Car Care Center business Fork lift. I have no reservations referring or recommending this company. Good people.

Ive called twice to get a quote on a 3-4k lift - never got a quote. I guess wanting to spend only 5-7k isnt enough to get their attention.

Great experience. We called them half an hour before closing to get a forklift for the next day. They delivered a beautiful forklift by 9:30 am the next morning that was just what we needed. Darren, our sales rep, was very helpful in determining the best machine for our job.

Since our business is in the process of closing, we only have part-time workers working mostly in the evenings. Therefore, I asked for 30 minutes notice to meet the transportation personnel. They didnt come the first day (with no explanation offered), It was late in the second day when the unit was picked up..Then yesterday (Wednesday) morning, we received a call that the forklift was all repaired and ready to go out. I waited all day. Planned errands and jobs that dont lend themselves to interruption were postponed. Just before 5 p..m. I called to see if they were coming. The gentleman I spoke with said it would be the next day. I asked for a range of time to expect them. He agreed to do that. Now here it is almost 5 p.m. on Thursday and not a peep has been heard. Again, it has affected production. Isnt there someone there who knows how to use the telephone to keep customers informed?

We were interested in a used forklift, salesman came out to look at our spare to see what tires would work best, they said they would get us whatever tires we wanted. then it showed up with the wrong ones and we were told only NEW ones would get proper tires... we could pay to have them replaced though... the forks were bent, but we were told again that used ones come as is...we finally had to get it serviced because it wouldnt start. one of our guys had located the problem and told them when he called them what parts were needed and they showed up with nothing for our forklift. Not even a spare battery. he said he would have to go back to the shop and come back with the parts, but he would be on the clock the entire time... Very frustrated with the service and did not want to pay the bill. we sourced the parts online and fixed it ourself. Randomly got a call about a month ago seeing if we needed any more machinery, I told them to send us quotes for scissor lifts, something like a GS3232 or 2632. never heard anything from them...

Good place to go for all forklift related issues

It was mid March, freezing rain that turned to snow, and 4pm on when I called their rental dept. I had been outside messing around trying to load equipment for 3 hours. Danny had a forklift to my location within an hour, and I was able to load the equipment and on my way back to Minneapolis 15 minutes after the forklift touched the pavement.I cant thank Danny enough for his top notch service. He even followed up with me the day after to make sure everything went well.

My fiance is an 18-wheeler mechanic. Hes from Bellville, TX and got called out to Dallas, TX for a job. He went to two different parts houses and they were very rude and didnt have anything that would work. He came up here at 5:45 and they close at 5. They were VERY kind and VERY helpful. They said they didnt have a part that would work but stayed late and made him something that would work. If they wanted to they could have just said no and let him go on his way but instead they stayed 45 minutes past the time they were suppose to close and MADE him a custom fitting. Thank you so much Lone Star Forklift!!
