Also this company is gonna be my first choice for keeping me and anyone else safe from any size venues like schools special events also this brand for me is #1 in the nation for safety and good quality service. I had not the best customer service last time when I had trouble with my pinpointer within 3 months of owning that as well but was replaced and works great now anyway when I called Garrett customer service this morning I spoke with Mary P. she had exceptional customer service replaced my collection pouch with no problems and I appreciate that as a customer, I will definitely continue shopping with Garrett. Ill tell you right now if it was going to be a big problem I wouldnt be spending my money there anymore so Props to Marry P. employees like her keep a businesses going.Original post:I am pleased with the products I have purchased, Ace 400, AT pro pinpointer and goody pouch, although I had to send back my AT Pro pinpointer after a few months because of issues with the light staying on/not turning off. They have a nice policy of 10 day turnaround for repairs my pinpointer definitely was returned within 10 days and it was the holiday season so thumbs up for that.The reason I did not give five stars is because of customer service. I spoke with several people during that time frame and can honestly say I spoke with maybe one friendly and professional person everyone else acted like they did not like their job.

After using a Whites Eagle for 30 years, I purchased an AT Pro. I love how light it is to swing. I went to a play ground that I had hunted for 30 = years with my old detector and in one single day found a mans 14K gold ring at 6 deep, a gold heart pendent and a gold chain. all in an area that was very trashy and that I hunted many times with the whites detector. I bought a 5x8 coil which makes it lighter yet and is great in trashy areas. The AT Pro is one great detector. Thank you Garrett for such a great product.D Kopp Hanover Pa.

Im always amazed by the costumer service. Ive been using Garrett for the past twenty years . Ive never seen a company so committed to make things right for their customers. It doesnt matter if you have a problem or just a question theyre always quick to help.

When shooting a few baskets in Plano, my wedding ring launched from my hand and into the grass. The ring left so quickly that I did not see where it landed. My wife and I and 3 strangers combed the immediate area and could not find the ring. I continued looking for the ring (originally my fathers) with a rake and on my hands and knees and still could not find the ring. My wife tried to find a metal detector from the local police department, Home Depot, and Academy. A new detector could be purchased and picked up at the store in two days which did not help our situation. A Google search for metal detectors in DFW yielded the Garrett Company in Garland. I called and they informed us that we could rent a detector for a great daily price. My wife left for Garland and was received by the gracious staff at Garrett. These good folks provided the detector and provided an overview of its operation. I had looked for the ring for 5 hours and after 15 minutes with the detector, the ring was located in an area that was hidden well from plain sight. I returned the detector the next day was highly impressed with their facility and their staff. There is a fine display of the companys history and the many items found by Garrett metal detectors through the years. I highly recommended the Garrett Company. I am happy to see that companies like this still exist with customer service top of mind.

We had a great experience at the Garrett Metal Detector manufacturing Facility in Garland Texas. My wife and I had been wanting to stop in to see the little museum of all kinds of finds that Garrett has accumulated over the years and found the display very interesting and well worth the visit. I was able to buy a book and a shirt and cap as well.To top everything off we were able to take a tour of the plant and see the processes of building the Ace and AT Pro metal detectors product line. We were very impressed with the facility and all the employees .Everyone was so nice to us and really made me proud to own several Garrett products. Thanks to Rusty Curry for all the information he sheared with us about our equipment and for the tour.

I was greeted warmly by Caitlyn and she quickly put me in touch with Adam who not only helped me get my Pro Pointer AT diagnosed and fixed while I waited but he also gave me a tour of the factory. Awesome company and products. Nice that they are not only in the States but better in Texas and Best they are local to me. I have bought many of their metal detectors. I did sell them due to loss of interest in metal detecting, not due to quality of their products.I have owned the Garrett ACE 150, 250 and now 300. I do plan of keeping this one and starting again, once it warms up.Update. Thank you to Hilda and the technicians for great customer service and restoration of my sea hunter mk 2. Bought one of the first AT Pros that they came out with and it never worked right. Sent it in and had it reworked once Garrett admitted it was garbage. When I received it back it was worse than when I sent it in. Guess Im stuck with a $600 boat anchor. Would never buy anything form Garrett again. People are very pleasant, just the merchandise is junk.

Stopped here on vacation to the southwest. Got a personal tour. Very nice people. Im a Garrett detector owner so I picked up some accessories while at the factory.

No, its not a storefront, but their display area has lots of found treasures. They wont sell detectors, but they have books and videos for sale for amateurs. They also have information on nearby treasure hunting clubs.

Ive owned a Garrett metal detector for many years. I wanted to change out a coil so I went to The Company Store at this location. The young lady that helped me was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. It was a pleasure to do business with her.
