Needed trumpet repair. They fixed right then and we were out of there quickly! Knowledgeable and nice!!! Would definitely visit again for all of our music needs! (They have great things there too)

This is a top notch store! I took my trumpet to them, which had a crinkle in the bell and they were able to fix it right away while I waited. This was impressive.I also purchased a mouthpiece for my trumpet and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. This is a great company for your instrument needs, especially brass instruments and others common to band kids.

The costumers atencion is awesome the guys who repair the instruments are so nice.

My son is in the Rockwall High School Orange Wave Marching Band, and we go here to get all of our repairs done for his trombone. The people here are fantastic. There has never been a time I felt like we were not being given 100% of the attention that a customer deserved and their repairs are amazing. They do not have tons of stuff in the store to choose from, but can get you just about anything. I would highly recommend that you take your instrument here to get any repairs that you may ever need. They are top notch in customer service, and communication. Unfortunately that can not be said for most music shops, as they will want to nickel and dime you. If you have to drive a bit, they are worth it. Go see them, and you will not be disappointed.

We rented my sons trumpet from this location. Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable sales staff. The repair department is great too.

Its a quiet, little music store. I go here for any guitar repairs or set ups. The prices are similar to big stores like Guitar Center. But the employees are more attentive since its a smaller shop and the customer service is a bit better. The selection is small. Dont expect a wall of Taylors or Les Pauls. The guitar and amp selection is small and mostly targeted towards beginners. They can order almost anything but at the same time, so can you. I feel bad for small stores like this in an age of Amazon and many other online retailers. I will most likely continue coming here for any guitar related repairs since its in a convenient location.

Very knowledgeable of all things music. Everytime I come here to get my instruments fixed it takes no time at all. The owner is what I call old school. I got to big chain music stores and to say the least they suck! But this small music shop is user-friendly!!

I had to get my clarinet repaired and they were super efficient. I got the clarinet back after it only being there for 3 days! And it was over Christmas break Which is a busy time for them. I would recommend this place for repairs.

This is a small, locally-owned business with staff that is super knowledgeable and helpful. You may pay a little more for products here than you would on Amazon or some place else, but you know that youre getting legitimate products here as well as helpful insights and tips from the staff.

Ive been having my instruments repaired at McKay Music for over 6 years. Kim is absolutely the best repairman & he never over charges, etc and Billy is always super helpful, too. I purchased my flute there, along with other accessories/supplies.
