Just bought our second car from these guys, bought one about a year ago. They seem to find better inventory than other dealers in the area. Cleaner cars in better condition, for the same price or better than other dealers.

I went to this dealership a month ago, an ended up buying the perfect car for my family. Once I got to the dealership I already knew what I wanted as I viewed the inventory online before I got there. They was very respectful and helpful from the start. Before I even purchased the car, they told me I could take a test drive along with taking the car to my mechanic if I wanted to. Almost a month later my engine needed some work done to it . I called them and informed them what happened ; to my surprise not only were they caring an understanding, but they turned around an wrote me a check to get everything taking care of. I purchased my 2015 Ford escape in January. It had less than 26000 miles on it and based on the actual value of the vehicle it was priced about 6,000 below value price. I waited to do my review so I could see how it will run. I can gladly say Im a happy customer. My car runs really well and the staff was very helpful with a smooth process. My car now has a little over 29071 miles on it and I love it. I would recommend anyone to check out Atlantic Auto Sales to get a reliable vehicle at a great price. Sold me a 2012 Ford Focus on February 25th 2021 that was working for the first couple of weeks and then the problems started. First it was the engine fan, they fixed it up for free and it was good for a few days then it broke again. Next was the awful transmission, Which gave me problems since day one but could still be handled until the car was unable to be reversed. The car is currently up for sale for scrap so I’m able to get some of my money back as it is not drivable anymore. It pains me that my very first car had to be a lemon. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE!!!

This is the worst dealership Ive ever dealt with. I felt so disrespected and they spoke to me in a way that was so condescending. The salesmen seemed to have no interest in helping me whatsoever. I test drove one car and on the drive I was fairly certain it was the car I was going to buy until I got back to the dealership and was spoken to in such a rude way. Due to my age and being a woman I think they just assumed I had no idea what I was doing and they even assumed I didnt have the money to buy for the car. Not only did I have the money but I ended up buying a more expensive and better car elsewhere. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

So I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Accent in June. I’ve had no issues except my engine light came on maybe 3 months after purchasing the car. The light was for my catalytic converter. I honestly wouldn’t have known there was an issue if the light didn’t come on. There was no changes in the vehicle. When I took it to the mechanic they told me I still had a while before I noticed changes in the vehicle due to the life expectancy on the converter. Which made life easier . I got it fixed and have had no issues. I would recommend you bring a mechanic. It is a USED dealership not every vehicle will be perfect. They are super professional, answered all questions and were patient.

Let me start off by saying I didn’t have a bad experience but I didn’t have a great experience either.I came to buy a 2004 Subaru and side note I work on cars for living. Found it sitting on the lot. While checking it over a nice lady comes out to great me, we exchange pleasant small talk, then she hands me the keys. Cool. I begin to check out the interior, under the hood, and make sure everything works. I notice the airbag light is on (when on won’t deploy airbags in a crash), the Ac doesn’t work, new radiator(maybe head gasket related or was leaking and replaced by previous owner, does happen), wind noise when driving, signs of a water leak, and the shifter is very very loose. That’s a lot of things wrong on a car priced $600 above kbb and not to mention the paint and panels are showing their age, however I love me subarus of this vintage.So the gentleman whose not the owner puts a plate on and I go down the road. Also side note this gentleman I don’t wanna say mean mugged me but he just had a scowl. I also can have rbf so all is forgiven but it doesn’t help in customer service.So I come back from my test drive and tell them what I see is wrong. Could be more however I didn’t lift the car but it drove smooth minus a brake pulsation from sitting for so long (lot rot). Also I forgot the battery felt weak from sitting but these things happen. So I make a lower offer on the kbb spectrum of 2100-3900 dollars at 2500 and say I’ll go to the bank and come back with cash. The lady just says “I’d have the speak to the owner” and the gentleman kinda gets snippy with me. I took it with a grain of salt but being a master technician I know cars and what they’re worth. I’d love to make a deal happen. For people buying cars from this place do your due diligence and get a pre purchase inspection and if something comes up, don’t buy. I doubt you’ll hurt this places feelings. Used cars can be problematic. It’s just Murphy’s law, what can go wrong will go wrong.So if the owner reads this and that 04 stick shift Subaru is still there, call me and maybe we can work something out.

I bought a car from this lot for 9 thousand dollars. The first week of ownership ive had to deal with a siezed oil pan with stripped bolts, a tire blew out on the highway, found the wheel was cracked in 4 places and very cheaply welded in 2, the fuel pump went out, my gas tank filler neck grommet is corroded causing a gas spill, a fuel injector has gone bad and now my engine is flooding, and to top it all off, the steering column for active steering has failed. I reached out to the dealership and theyre willing to help me out. Just buyer, please bring a mechanic to go over the vehicle in full. Dont go through what i have with no lemon laws in NC and an as-is buyers guide. Theyre good guys working there, just happens to be the case with auction cars and such.

Some cars are nicer than others on the lot. I Had a good experience buying a 08 Honda Civic a little over a month ago. No major issues so far. Good quality car for a good price. I did get them to negotiate on the price and I paid a little under Kelly blue book for the car. Quick no hassle buying experience. Salesmen were kind and straight forward. Would recommend getting a pre purchase inspection on the car if possible as the car I purchased had a non working horn and brake lights when I purchased it. ( Knew about horn prior to purchase but not aware of brake lights being out) Luckily it was just 2 missing fuses from the fuse box and only a 30 dollar fix. Besides that great car! Would recommend!

Worst dealership ever, Never have I ever had such a bad experience car shopping. I buy a Vehicle from the Lot and not even a week in the Car breaks down, Has Rust on the Frame, Rear Main seal is leaking, Brakes are to the point of damaging the Rotors. Transmission is about to go out and the entire car shakes periodically. I am told they will only replace the brakes, Then states bring the vehicle up this week to have it looked at, They will tell me that your on your own like they stated before as it seems... But little do the know I’m very close with the commissioner of the DMV and I have many family members in law enforcement. So they did not chose the right person to scam. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE. Very unprofessional.

I asked specifically about an oil leak, the salesman reply was not that he knew. Well, when I checked the auto out there was no oil or sign of fluid underneath. Thought I would give the benefit of the doubt, had an oil change. It leaks like really bad. I would think they would at least be honest

Went looking for an SUV in our price range and they had a great selection to choose from. “Big” Mike as he’s referred to gave us a great deal on our new USED SUV. They are very friendly and easy to work with. Remember people these are USED CARS and not NEW. Before we bought our vehicle we noticed on the test drive it would hesitate accelerating. Mike took the SUV to their mechanic and changed out the coil packs before we bought it and now it runs great. He could have just left it as is, as the sticker states, and we would have to do the repair ourselves but he took care of it. Great customer service and very friendly.

I like this place a lot. I purchased 2009 Honda accord and love it. The prices here are good in my opinion. Took it for a test drive and got pep boys to look at it. Showed the owner, Jimmy, what pep boys found and he took it to his mechanic. His mechanic fixed whatever needed to be fixed and Jimmy didnt charge me for it! I thought he would but he didnt. I ran into some issues with the bank and the owner so kindly held the car for me for about a week until I figured things out. I wasnt expecting that. Overall, great experience for buying my first car.

Purchased a 2013 F-150,by the time I got to Richmond, VA il started misfireing,, I thought I was running out of gas,, my tank would only take 10$ with of gas at a time, all the way to dc, its in the shop,Im told that I need a catilac converter, hope thats it,, tried to get a new set of tags from Atlantic but I was to that they couldnt help me, so,,, 🤪🤪as of 07/11/20, my F150(2013),is still in the shop,, the catilac converter has been replaced,,Im currently getting a code p2195, saying I need a 02sensor,, its still misfire,, I was told that I may need a fuel pump,, because its only taking 10$ dollars worth of gas at a time,, I believe that the truck needs some work done to it, not quite ready for sale,, its been in the shop, I would like to have it towed back to Atlantic Auto,at my expenses,, and exchanged for another vehicle of same value $7,200.,, I did by two vehicles 2008 Merc Benz,gl450,,, Im not complainting, but its a Lil too soon to need struts,, but it does,,,

We didn’t even have to ask about any issues because Mike went out of his way to point out little minor defects we may not have noticed otherwise... talk about honesty! He also offered a solution fo each minor cosmetic flaw. He and his staff graciously pulled out half a dozen cars for us to drive, telling us to take as long as we needed with each one. He bent over backwards to help, giving us his personal cell phone number to use should we have any further follow up questions. Absolutely amazing! I would’ve left this review even if we hadn’t purchased a car from him, but we did! He gave us an incredible deal and I got my dream car! They were transparent and let me know everything I needed, to the best of their knowledge, about the car I was buying. I know it is a used car, so I understand there are things I will have to take care of, but there were no surprises. They did not push me to buy and helped me make the best decision from their many options and very good deals. The place is not fancy, but last time I bought a used car from a fancy place, and they brought me a super clean and shiny car, I could not foresee the real headache I would have after that. It’s been over a month and I still think the folks at Atlantic are friendly and trustworthy.
