Went to check about flooring. Female seated at computer was not friendly or helpful. Guy seated at computer said he would send help but no one came. Passerby, Brian, stopped to assist. Very nice and helpful. Returned to flooring desk and waited but no one came. Mike at the front desk was great. Helpful and informative. He saved my visit.

Every home improvement store around is running low on gardening implement it seems. The Home Depot in Garner had what I needed in stock and the price was even better than online. My cashier was a bit snarky, but maybe she was just having a bad day.

Got the fire pit that I wanted at a great price! Online purchase process was quick & easy and tge in-store pick-up process was seamless! Staff was very nice & helpful!

My compliments to employee Claudia Brown who answered the phone and physically went and verified the product that I needed was in stocks. We got disconnected and she called me back and gave me more descriptions for the products I was looking for. I made sure to find her in the store and thank her personally. I will shop at Home Depot instead of Lowes from now on. Customer service exemplied.

Be prepared to be on your own and assist yourself. Approached associate for assistance and asked how do I get help purchasing Large appliance. I was told to go and wait for the othe associate to finish with the customer ordering something. All the while the person I was asking was just sitting at a empty station talking to another person who worked there and doing nothing else.Large variety of things you need though. Just be prepared to be on your own for a while. Other than that nice store.

I asked employee three times where to find aluminum nails reciting and he wouldn’t look up from his phone to help me find it. Took me 30 minutes to find it on my own. I get to the cash register and then they tell me that they can’t scan it and I need to go back and take a picture of the SKU and bring it back. I explained my problem that I have been trying to find it in the employee refusing to help me and they pushed me off to the side and said next person

Been waiting 30 minutes for the single tool associate to be able to help me buy something in a secured area. Five others with me waiting for help as well. It’s Sunday at noon. Staffing levels not at the level needed to serve the flow of customers in the store.

Theres always a Home Depot near by. Today this one saved me a trip to Costo. Lol. The staff at this particular Home Depot in Garner NC are super nice, the help me to find what I need it and made my shopping experience way easier. As a ROOFING AND FLOORING company, our time is money. Thank you to the staff. They were awesome today.

This visit was a good experience. Much more helpful and better selection than Lowes when dealing with lumber. Left Lowes because they had poor selection of lumber and went to home Depot and made a 1800.00 purchase of lumber and will go back for the rest of the lumber and shingles. Lowes loses out on a lot of business because of their lazy staff. Home Depot staff knows where their paychecks come from and they help their customers so they keep coming back for all their projects needs.

Was able to find exactly what I needed! Sales staff was very helpful and offered a less expensive option for me as well. Clean store, and easy to items.

We had purchased a grill online and had it assembled. We received a message it was ready for pick up. When we arrived not only was it not assembled but was told it wouldnt be until the next day. We returned the next day at the time we were told to it still wasnt ready. Wasnt offered anything for the inconveniences since we drove from Selma both days and management didnt even bother to speak to use just spoke over the radio to customer service.

Horrible experience! Purchased Rustoleum cushion spray and either the product didnt work or the can was faulty, as after several layers (as instructions suggest) we were left with a ruined cushion and no change in color. Returned to store for refund with receipt and was refused a refund as the product had been used. I called the store to speak to management to clarify this position when Alison (who said she was management) called us liars, said she fielded every Rustoleum complaint for the entire company over five years and never had a faulty product complaint. Eventually told her she wasnt being very customer service oriented and shouldnt speak to customers like that when she told us that she was going to give the refund up until we said that and hung up the phone on us. Escalated the complaint to Amber who seemed helpful and offered a refund and a goodwill gesture of gift card. That never materialized after two more phone calls and two emails. Escalated again to Chris who called me a liar and in fact said several other outright lies and basically slandered my husband! Id avoid a store that is willing to speak to customers like this and be so disrespectful over a $14 faulty product. I have, in a final attempt at resolution, contacted corporate who said this was uncalled for and would result in a store write up. Even corporate was dumbfounded that they wouldnt just resolve the situation of a refund in the initial instance. I would suggest if you have issues, avoid settling them locally and go straight to corporate as whatever issue this store has, it is a top to bottom pervasive issue. Buyer beware!

As we are elderly we find the staff there very helpful. We were getting gardening materials, river rocks and Dwayne was especially helpful in loading into our trunk. A big thank you to all the staff too as I left my cellphone there which they retreated for me.

The manager Joseph was so helpful. He helped my husband and I order the supplies for delivery to our home for our DIY backyard oasis. Very knowledgeable about pavers and all the supplies needed. Store has good selection of home improvement products, etc.

Kelly in flooring was AMAZING!! Couldn’t figure out the best wood flooring for my RV and she was a huge help. Very knowledgeable, and since no commission showed me that spending more doesn’t get you more. Thanks!!

Gwen in the garden center today is literally the reason why so many people prefer Lowes over HD. If she doesnt want her job find someone who does and will actually have some manners and speak to you as youre checking out. Its called customer service. Crazy, I know! The said thing is I feel like this is just the home Depot work culture they want. Ive experienced more trips like this than I can count. One of the main reason I avoid this place like the plague!2 start only because they had what I needed.

Purchased a shed in May 2021. Purchased with Home Depot, who contracts with Tuff Shed. We had a few delays and reschedules, (original date was early July, then delayed until end of August.. The delays were understandable due to general pandemic with COVID-19, supply/labor shortages. However, the last reschedule was via text, moving us to a date when we were working. From previous conversations, the scheduler had knowledge of our work-such as already scheduled client appointments and how we can keep a day open, but difficult to cancel clients. The concern was expressed to customer service at at home depot and with the service person from Tuff Shed who called once we decided to cancel the order. I recommend that Home Depot consider other dealers, particularly other local businesses. Tuff Shed obviously has so much business they feel they do not need to actively work with a client on scheduling or consider other needs.

Needed electrical wire cut, couldnt get the reps by the aisle to stop talking to each other and assist me. Random associate, who was very nice, tries to help. He pages entire store asking for someone who knows more to help me. I wait and wait and wait. Go back to desk and they finally acknowledge my existence, where Im told the electrical guy has been on break for an hour. Ridiculous that no one said that to the associate who did actually help me and page entire store. He probably didnt know either, but clearly someone should have heard that page and mentioned that the electrical guy was on lunch break. Thanks for 2 wasted hours.

Plenty of home and garden improvement supplies here, and the store is generally kept well stocked. Employees are friendly and returns are easy (email receipts are awesome). The only negative is that a few of the shrubs and flowers Ive bought have not done well, so you may want to stick with your local garden center for important plants.

This Home Depot is definitely different from the ones in used to! Its very small and they didnt have what I was looking for. Would I go out of my way to go here.... No. Is it good if you need something and its close by...... Sure. Also the staff are definitely not as nice as the people at Lowes.

This is relatively near to my house. The guy in lumber department provided excellent customer service. He literally picked up each and every piece that I needed for my project. The power tools folks were also helpful. This is my go to store from now on. I used to go to Lowe’s a lot but Home Depot is becoming my favorite store as assistance is available in almost every department.

The 1 star isnt for the store itself. The staff there are helpful and friendly, and the store seems like a good place to get things. The 1 star is for the highly advertised Let Us Help You thing, where they set you up with people who can do installation type work for you. I signed up for that this past Saturday, just to get a door installed.Someone from HD finally called Thursday night, only to tell me that someone had to come out and measure first, and that person is only available weekday mornings, no exceptions. My wife and I work weekdays, and really cant take a morning off for a measure, then even more time off who knows when later for the install. Another weird thing is that the first available day was two weeks from now. Are they SO busy they cant get a guy out for two weeks, but not busy enough to warrant someone available a bit more than weekday mornings, or even a second person?So, yeah, no more trying to get HD to help find installation people. Figured it would be better than going online, but that seems to be the only way to get anything done these days.

We came here to buy lightbulbs and look at washers/dryers. The gentleman that sold us ours, Tom, was incredibly helpful and sweet. I didn’t feel tricked or goaded into buying anything I didn’t want. He gave us the facts and let us make a decision.

This Home Depot was ok. I went 2 days in a row the employees that I did interact with were ok they weren’t very enthusiastic but if you don’t mind driving a little further I would prefer the Home Depot in Cary.

Roomy place to walk while maintaining your distance. Restroom was excellent minus minimal water, droplets.

Ordered something for curbside and followed their directions. I’ve been in the curbside spot for 30Minutes now. They have been brining out items to cars 10-15 minutes apart. They bring an item out, go in and don’t resurface for 15 minutes. This has been a huge waste of my time.

Walked to the tool aisle, aisle 9 and walked around looking at tools. No one ever asked if I needed anything which was fine at the moment. One employee was in the area for a very brief moment then never saw anyone else. Went to register and asked for help. 10 minutes went by and I walked out the store. Ill buy online and never go back to this store

They would not bulk order an item for me. I ended up having to travel to four different locations.

Excellent customer service. A rep named Carolina went above and beyond to help me with a return. All the reps were really nice and so was the gentleman who helped me get several large items out of my car and load something new into it!

HORRIBLE!! I will never step foot into their store again. I purchased a storm door and scheduled installation through Home Depot. After waiting two weeks and taking a full day off of work to stay home and wait for the installer, he showed up WITHOUT the necessary tools to do the job! I offered to go to Home Depot and buy the parts and he declined stating that he had another job to do (even though he still had two hours of arrival time left on my job). The worst part came when i went in to reschedule the installation. It took 10 mins for someone to even acknowledge us at the door/window department, another 10 for someone to come and after waiting, a female worker finally came over with a horrible attitude and stated that she did not have access to reschedule. After asking to speak to a manger, she placed a phone call to the manager who refused to speak with me face to face. After another request and 15 more minutes, the manager (Tia) finally came to the department with a horrible attitude, tight blue jeans, and long black fingernails. She rolled her eyes, huffed and puffed and became verbally abusive. After asking to speak to her manager, the assistant manager finally approached the area. As I was explaining the situation and terrible customer service to him, he refused to even look at my husband and I and was even speaking with another employee while we were speaking to him. He periodically hunched his shoulders as to imply yea...so what. He began explaining that it was his 7th day straight working and that he was trying to eat his lunch. It took a total of 1 hour and 20mins to get a refund on the installation. I will never go to Home Depot again, now I understand why their store had little to no customers in it!

Calling for assistance you are placed on hold multiple times. Someone opens the line and placed me on hold at least 5 times in 12 min.

Disappointed in their veterans policy. It is not clear nor very helpful.

There isnt enough room or will left in my body to cover the entire nightmare of Home Depot. Just dont order major appliances whatever you do. Dont order appliances and expect the delivery to work out. it wont. they are the worst company on the face of earth and when you ask for help they hang up on you. Took 6 attempts to get things delivered after being lied to and having my time wasted endlessly and my home destroyed by lazy, incompetent delivery people. They never got it right so in the end, I returned it all and went to another store where the service was 10x more pleasant and professional.

I was there early Sunday morning for eight gallons of paint. Im in the self check out. Two ladies 1 young. and 1 older lady the older lady wanted to help me. The young one tell not to. The younger one kept telling me what to do from afar . instead walk over and help.I was sick of her keep telling what to do. I said why dont u come over and help instead sat on your bum and telling me what to do. I was 😠 .

Large store, lots of stuff, but isles were very cluttered, limited staff to answer questions. Veggies were very expensive. I ended up getting almost nothing.

I ordered an LG over the range microwave through the Home Depot app from this store. The microwave was delivered and installed and the vent fan is not working. The delivery guys said that it would be replaced and that someone would call to schedule the replacement delivery within the next 2 days. First, I had to call the store because no one called. Then I finally get a call, not from the store but from LG. I was told that the microwave would not be replaced until NOVEMBER. I called the store back to find a better resolution to this situation and Derrick seemed completely unconcerned that I now have a brand new broken microwave. He wanted to argue that they only have a floor model but couldnt be bothered to attempt to come up with an agreeable solution. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE ONLINE. IF THEY MESS IT UP YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!!! PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Customer service sucks. Ask an employee about a product in their store and it wasnt directly in front of him do he said we dont have it. I ask him to look it up on his little hand held thing and darn if they didnt have 2 of them. Amazing.

Employees are frustratingly incompetent. They had an item in the wrong slot, so when we found out the actual cost we told the cashier we would go grab the product that was supposed to be in that slot instead. Got home to find that she never took the more expensive item off our bill. We now have to waste time, and risk our health for another trip to the Home Depot to resolve this. Wouldnt recommend this store. It is poorly run

I took my five-year-old to the childrens workshop today. The employees were very fun and attentive. My kid got a kit to build a little tabletop game which came with instructions, pieces and fasteners. The store gave us a hammer, glue, and paint to use. We also received a child-sized orange Home Depot apron that he can keep, along with a collectible enamel pin representing todays project.I also needed to find a few fasteners and wood conditioner for a personal project. The store was clean, organized and everything was easy to find. The cashiers at checkout were friendly and knowledgeable.

Found everything I was looking for pretty quick, fast checkout since they opened more self checkout stations with massive screens and intuitive interface, place was clean and very well organized making easy to navigate

Prices are ok kind of disappointing that they seemed to be short on lumber. And didnt have some of the products I was looking for that were pretty basic products. And not to mention some of the aisles especially in the lumber section were cluttered and hard to.get through with equipment and carts piled with things. Also why is it never easy to find a lumber cart it seems that the store uses them to keep random items on them instead of putting these items away either In overstock or back on the shelf.

Had to ask where something was several times but was helped quickly.

Curbside pick up is a joke. This is my third curbside pick up attempt. Youll never get through to the correct department by calling the store number. The phone line cuts off if they transfer you. The best bet is to flag down an employee. Even better is to not use curbside at all. Expect a twenty-minute ordeal if you do.
