Great location at 40/42. Now all of the alcoholics from the Clayton side don’t have to risk a D.U.I. on their way to get more booze. Local, friendly and the government gets their portion of the “sin tax”.

Nice small store, wishing for a bigger better selection

Not cool to hear the employees complaining about other customers and the language was abusive and unnecessary. There is a time and place but not in the workplace. This store will be closing in less than 3 weeks due to I-40 interchange.

Very nice store ! Always very clean and organized. The employees are very helpful if you can’t find anything. The check out process is quick and the cashiers are very nice. . This is one of my favorites this season. It’s delicious 😋!

I had a very pleasant experience at this location. The cashier was very knowledgeable, relatable, sweet. I didnt feel rushed in line or forced to buy anything I didnt want. The store was clean and well stocked.

Better prices on liquor than back home.

They have everything you can imagine in the way of liquor. Friendly staff. Prices are a little high but then arent they all. The place was very crowded but the line moved quickly. 👍

This is the closest store to where I live. They have been picked over since covid started and its very difficult to find Buffalo Rare or Eagle 10 bourbon here. In fact, I havent seen it here for years. The ABC in Garner on 70 usually has a much better selection

I will never go to this location again! Got there at 858 pm and the guy as literally at the door locking up..wouldnt even look at me! Unfortunately these stores are run by the government and these are technically government employees who could care less. Worse yetbad reviews dont do anything and no one will even care.

I cant get my Wellers. Old Forester turned out to be pretty good. I have to travel to get my Wellers. The store? Oh the store is just fine. Kind people. Told me I couldnt get my Wellers. Something about NC and buffalo trace.

Super awesome people there. This was my first time going to this location.

They sell booze there so thats cool. The people that work there are also usually very personable. The biggest downfall is the small size of the store and the awkward and small parking lot.

Meh. State run bs almost always means the customer loses out. Fewer open hours for a product many want available 24/7. Keep your morality at YOUR house, thanks. Cant wait till we vote the state run booze cartel out and put this back in the hand of the citizen.Small store, fewer choices than traditional private liquor stores too.I give it 4/5 because its right off interstate 40.

Its what you can get from state run business. They carry all the staples but if you want anything remotely out of the ordinary they are going to have to order it if they can get it at all. The staff is always really cool and very helpful.

Cashier treated me as if I was a 15 year old - not sure why because I had my ID (even though he didnt ask, only said you know Im going to ask.... then ask you terd dont make it weird - I found that dispreapectful. I wont mind driving to clayton to avoid this ABC store because he is a weirdo
