My technician, Levi, was great and professional. What I was disappointed in was the estimate of $259 for a common car that should have known prices. My cost ended up being nearly double at $490. Definitely will be looking elsewhere in the future to avoid being overcharged.

Had to leave within the week. Home visiting family after deployment, and wanted to get window fixed. Safelite brought wrong regulator twice. Planned on having it done before going back, but now it wont be.

Awesome staff! Scheduled an appointment online for store because I had to have camera calibration done, also, and had to have it do at the location. They were friendly, quick to verify insurance information, and took care of what needed to be done amd quickly.

I highly recommend the business! I needed some door window seals replaced on my Honda Civic. I was met with courtesy and enthusiasm by the technicians. The work was good, the folks professional, and the cost reasonable.

Safelite came to us to replace our cracked windshield. I was impressed that they kept me informed on the time of our appointment. They were on time and completed the install within an hour and a half. New windshield, wiper blades and a friendly technician. Very pleased with the overall experience and the warranty.

The Gastonia NC location has the least competent employees working at that location. Was told some trim in my rear side window was ordered. Waiting 2 months to find out it never was ordered. Managervtold me 3 weeks ago he would order and be in touch soon. Still havent heard from anyone!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would!  The technicians Matthew & Heather were great. The manager, Jake, complete opposite!  Jake was rude and extremely unprofessional!  Jake called to advise my car was ready at 4:45pm.  My Uber arrived at 5:15pm to pick me and my 3 yr old up, at that time, Jake called again to let me know he had somewhere else to go and had to leave soon.  I said Id be there in 10 mins and I suggested he leave my car outside, so he doesnt have to wait.   He stated he couldnt leave because there was a balance due.  I arrive at 5:25pm and to my surprise, the doors were locked and not one staff member in sight...not even Jake!  My daughter and I stranded outside of Safelite, in 90+ degree heat.  After contacting Safelites corporate office, Jake called back.  Not to apologize but to let me know again about a balance due & I could pick up my car the next day 😡After our not-so-pleasant exchange, Jake apparently found the time to come back to open the doors within 15 mins.To assume he was not going to receive payment, while withholding my property was extremely insulting.   Then to leave his business, while knowing I was in route was the epitome of unprofessionalism!  DO BETTER!

I had my windshield done on my car this morning. Home appointment. The kid that showed up left BOTH of my windshield wiper bolts loose. One didnt even have the washer put back on and was laying in the tray DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF IT. Also left out two of the plastic push pins and after looking for a second I found both of them on top of my motor. There were also two torques bit bolts that he stripped that Ill be sending them a bill from Ford to have replaced. Ive had safelite put in probably six windshields in different cars over the years and been fine every other time but this was blatant laziness and disregard for someones property.

The people here are welcoming and friendly. They fixed the chip in my windshield quickly and with great quality to. I have no complaints.

Absolutely horrible! I was supposed to have a rock chip repaired and told at worst it would have a “slightly wavey” look. Instead my windshield looks way worse than prior to the rock chip. I have tried to contact the technician who performed the repair but his voicemail is full.

Excellent work. But since I value my life, I wont be going back. All employees were masked, but the receptionist, who only pulled her mask up when she thought someone was looking. She coughed a lot. When an unmasked customer parked in the waiting room she said nothing. I stepped outside.

On March 6th 2021 I dropped off my car there to replace a windshield. Upon pickup I noticed that my wiring for dashcam and radar detector is no longer there. I asked them about it and was told that they thought it was some old wiring and hid it under the panels... 🤔. They offered to fix that but I didnt feel like waiting.Today my wife went to adjust a rear view mirror and it stayed in her hand. After inspecting it I realized that it was never installed right 🤔 I also realized that the plastic around it has been broken and glued back together (not very well). Few days prior to this I went to adjust a visor on passenger side and a piece holding it fell off. You could see that this was also broken prior and glued together with same (black looking) glue that my mirror piece was.All those parts were never broken before and I know they had to be removed to replace a windshield.They broke stuff and glued it back together instead of owning up to it and replacing it.Shady work, very disappointed. Had many windshields replaced on other vehicles throughout years at other locations.. This location provided me with worst service Ive ever received from Safelite.

It took me forever to connect to a real person instead of a bot just to answer a question. When I finally connected with someone, they couldnt even help me with the replacement of my window in my Ford Mustang convertible. It was such a waste of time😕

Disagree. Their website said if the chip was less than 6 they could fix it. The chip on my windshield was about 2 and they said I need to replace the windshield. The appointment I scheduled and the time I spent getting there was a waste of my time. I will be looking at other options.

Took 3 attempts, first rain (not their fault), second, brought wrong windshield, 3rd success but mirror wouldnt stick. Had to drive to safelite garage after work to get mirror replaced.

Had an appointment for them to come out to my work and they cancelled it. I gave them a call and they told me I needed to come into the shop and they would take care of it for me. Two and a half hours later they finished. The people at the shop were very nice and courteous but it felt very disorganized.

The receptionist was extremely friendly, the day of installation of my back window went great. After the install, my back window leaks every time it rains, all over my leather seats. I took it back to get it fixed, they said that they couldnt fix the problem, that the third brake light gasket was leaking and they wont fix them. The technician messed up by saying that it happens all of the time. I looked into it, it really does. Tweleve people had the same problem after safelite fixed their back window from this facility. Something they do on installation, can break the seal on the third brake light, then your brake light leaks water into your vehicle and they are too cheap to replace the $18 gasket that they broke the seal on. My truck was in perfect condition, I had the back glass replaced because I cracked it, but it wasnt leaking even with the crack. Now water freely pours in as it rains.

Very knowledgeable. And took the time to explain everything. Then even answered any and every question and concern I had. Not to mention the complimentary beverages. Very friendly and I was very happy with everything. Should I ever need another window replaced or even fixed, I wouldnt even think about going anywhere else. Oh, and they guarantee all glass for life as long as you still own the vehicle. How about them apples?

Had a chip in my windshield and it needed repair. Went to Safelite on Gastonia to het an appointment at there location and got an appointment for repair at my home in Kings Mountain. The Safelite tech named Heather came and made my repair. She was great...arrived promptly, very pleasant and most of all expertly made the repair. I will highly recommended this shop and Heather to anyone who needs this service. Also thanks to Hoppy and Danielle in the shop for all of their help, they were great!

Arranged for my windshield to be replaced after a rock on the highway broke it. Made appointment. They came to me. Kept appointment time. Polite. Efficient. Notified me when done. Did great job. Only complaint is that they were supposed to call the day before to confirm but didnt. Otherwise great experience.

I used Safelite a couple of weeks ago. I had asked a couple of friends who they trusted with their broken wind shield. Everyone said Safelite. So I went online and scheduled my appointment. I had never done this before so I had a few questions so I called the 800 number. The young lady on the other end walked me through the process so I could get a discount by scheduling my appointment on line. I loved the fact that I could do that plus that your company comes to the customer. Great idea since I was in the mist of working and moving as well. I was able to schedule a time that was convenient for me. Matthew was my Tech who put my wind shield in. He was great and very courteous. He called before he came to let me know he was on his way. When he got to the appointment site he introduced himself and told me all that he was gonna do. He suggest I change my wind shield wipers and asked did I want him too. I was going to do that later that day after the wind shield was replaced. But I said to him sure please do it will save me more time. Then explained wind shield wipers should be replaced every 6 months, that tidbit I didnt know. Never too old to learn. After the process of getting my wind shield fixed and wipers too. I was able to see my world from a whole new view. Wonderful! Thank you Matthew and Safelite, plus the young lady who walked me through the online appointment. All smiles here. I felt like I was driving a brand new car. Wished you could see my smile

I attempted to call to get a quote and could not get anyone on the phone. Yes, I could get a quote online but I have questions that I wanted to get answers to before scheduling.

Richard (Rick) came to my house and replaced my windshield, he was AWESOME!!!! He was very polite and personable, his work was extremely professional and he had my windshield replaced (and looking flawless) in about 45 minutes. He is definitely an asset to this company!

Great work on the windshield replacement! Very courteous and very fast. No complaints. Would have been 5 stars other than some panels that had minor damage and was told it was prior to installation. Blue tooth mix is on this panel. When I got the car back after install I was told these parts were not removed but the blue tooth mic wasn’t in its original location. Hmm

We dropped off our MINI Countryman for a cracked windshield insurance repair, and told them we were not in a hurry. Within a couple of hours, I received an email letting me know the car was ready. Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. The installation looked factory installed. Very happy with their service.

Technician Ronald was rude and insisted on leaving his truck illegally parked while performing the job. He also left left the interior of my vehicle dirty with is hand prints everywhere. I understand that its a dirty job but no attempt was made to clean it up. On the positive side the windshield was installed correctly.

I like knowing who will be coming to your home! Their location in Gastonia, NC is awesome! They crash wrapped my back window until the window comes and until the repair person gets to you home! We drove down from Philadelphia to Gastonia visiting family for Thanksgiving. During the drive down the rubber liner at the top of our windshield failed so it started flapping around. We stopped at a gas station and I tried to use the rubber cement, the only thing they had, to glue it back down. We managed to make it to Gastonia. We spoke to relatives here and they mentioned a few auto shops in the area but recommended stopping at Safelite. I stopped in Black Friday morning. Brandon (hopefully I got the name right, I am bad with names) immediately pulled our minivan into the shop and took care of it ASAP. No appointments or anything. We cant say Thank You enough!! Now we dont have to worry about rain or anything for our 10 hour drive back home tomorrow. Again, thanks!!

There was very nice staff members. They gave us all that information that we needed, and even instructed us of the dos and donts of after installation. They even were super cool to my hyper little 2 year old lol.

I went online and set up that appointment. Received my confirmation email and told me who my tech was. The tech contacted me the day of and told me time for when he would be there. They even texted me a tracker so I could watch the tech drive to my location. Tech called about 5 mins from me and I met him at the door. Real nice guy and very professional. Only issue I had and it wasnt really an issue for this truck was, when he was removing the glass, it shattered. He cleaned the area around the glass but there were several smaller piece in the floor. No big deal because this was a heavy duty, off road truck. Overall, very pleased with quality of service.

I went with Carolina Auto Glass took them less than 30 mins to install and clean out broken glass and they were $80.00 cheaper and i only had a side passenger window replaced. Carolina Auto Glass in now my go to place for vehicle window replacement. Greed gets you no where!
