They do honest quality work, pricing is fair. They have experience and knowledge, will shoot you straight, do quality work, and are willing to offer helpful information even if they dont wind up doing work for you. Also the owner is quite amicable.

Steve is a great guy, ther service here is excellent I got my alignment done on the front end and they let me know I had something bent in the back. Even though they didnt have time to look at it they offered to take a look when I got a chance to head back by. Ill definitely be going here for every tire change, balancing, and alignment!

This is an excellent store. Its not exactly the cheapest on the whole coast, but the staff is honest and ethical. You wont have any issues with laziness, or skipping thru tedious work. This is my mechanic for a reason ;)

I took my moms car here, they installed 4 new tires. You would assume they would balance the tires but they didn’t. When driving at 65 miles or higher this baby was shaking it, due to unbalanced tires. When we brought it back, he left the car sitting there for a whole day and not work on it. This place is like a one man show.I had to bring it else where to pay again for the balancing of my tires. Highly do not recommend this place. Don’t believe me try it to believe, good luck!

Website stated diagnostics were free, so I called and made an appointment when my check engine light popped on. Waited an hour and a half past my appointment for them to get to my car. They told me they couldnt find anything wrong and charged me $65 just to turn off the check engine light. The light popped back on on the next day. Total waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else.

It was not a good experience for me

Our trucks alternator decided to go out on the highway on the last day of our cross country move. We happened to be lucky enough for it to happen at the Gautier exit if I-10. We called Firestone of Gautier and Steve said come on down, we can take care of you now. Within 3 hours they helped us disconnect a 6x12 fully loaded uhaul trailer, changed out the alternator and saved us from another night in a hotel. Steve and the crew at Firestone of Gautier are incredible helpful, friendly and understand a deadline. Thank you again!!!!!

This was the worst place I have EVER been to in my life. Was told 15 mins. The man was asleep behind the counter. No service was ever rendered

I was traveling room to Florida and my check engine light came on and I had my car towed to Firestone of gautier and I must say being miles from home they made me feel at ease I truly do recommend them of you car breaks down this is definitely the place to take I thank you all so much and thank steve..

I brought my car in because of a humming sound while driving. I was told by Steve I need four new tires, which by the way had lots of thread. I replaced two and the sound continued. Took my car to the dealership since they reopened during this pandemic. The dealership told me my tires that I chose not to replace, per Steve’s suggestion, were in fact good. It is in fact my hub bearing on the left side. Dealership fixed it and now I’m out $388 for 2 front tires that were perfectly fine.I believe I was taken advantage of. I don’t trust this particular location at all. My suggestion is to get a second opinion on whatever they tell you.Edit: Thanks for the response, However this does not explain why I was told to replace my back tires as well. I was taken advantage of during a national pandemic bc my dealership was closed. Money was not an issue. I am very financially well off just mechanically ignorant. I was never told by Steve I had an issue with hub bearings. Let’s not assume what a customer is able to do and instead disclose the problem and let them act accordingly.

Went in on evening of 11/17/20, my friend had blowout and no spare. The man behind counter was so rude and unhelpful. He treated us like we were idiots. Admittedly we were 2 girls not sure of what to do. But he could have been helpful instead of rude and condescending. Would never recommend nor use!

Was told to drop my truck off at 830 this morning and leave for a few hours and it would be taken care of the same day. I made sure to ask if it would be done that day as its my only transportation and Im leaving outta town. I never received the call to pick it up so I get a ride up there only to see the building closed and everyone gone even though its says they close at 1 and I arrived at 1258. Then left my truck outside the shop not even behind the fence where no theives can try to break into it. This place is very unprofessional and now Im stuck with no ride and possibly no job come Monday. Thanks firestone

I dropped off my buick before work and it was ready as promised that afternoon. With 4 new tires she rides nice again . Staff was friendly, professional, and honest . The 20 dollar bill in the change holder was visible and still there when I picked up my car . I have no doubt if i had any issues they would honor their warranties and their word . Im in the military and new to the area and wasnt really sure where to take my vehicle. A few of the local guys had recommended the firestone automotive store. I called and discussed the issues I was having with my truck and we agreed on a day and time for me to drop off my car. I was instructed to park my car and drop the keys in the drop box and to call letting them know. They told me my truck would be ready for pickup at 5:00 pm. I got a phone around 4:30 stating my vehicle was ready. When I arrived my key was in a ziplock bag marked disinfected along with a steering wheel cover and a note that my vehicle was cleaned and mechanics have been properly trained to avoid contamination. I was truly amazed with the service, price and overall customer safe procedures are being practiced.Timothy

The owner here is a crook! I have actually had stuff delivered to him by accident by FedEx that he claims he did not receive. Upon further review not only were these HUGE boxes delivered there they were personally signed for by him and a few months later seen used by him! It has taken every thing inside me to not press criminal charges against him. Now I ask you.....If he would steal from a perfect stranger, lie about it and try to cover it up, how do you think he is ripping off his customers?

After having to call roadside assistance to change my flat (the socket that came with my new car didnt fit the nuts on my rims???) I was able to drive to Firestone in Gautier and they patched the hole a screw left in my tire ($15). I was there all of 20 minutes and they didnt mind me having my dog with me as we are from out of town. I even left my wallet after this horrible day and they secured it so i could come back and get it. Nice, fast, and friendly service.

Great and fast service. They stand behind their products and honor your warranty. If they dont have a tire in stock they will have it usually the same day or the next day. I have had another positive experience at Firestone of Gautier. Steve and his team installed a new set of trailer tires. As a customer courtesy, they checked my wheelbearings and trailer brakes, which has given me peace of mind as we head out on the road.

Took my Avalon into the shop due to a blowout. Had super cheap dealership tires on it and desperately needed something better. Got it done the same day, saved me money, and fixed an undercarriage issue AND washed it! Love these guys. They operate a honest and dedicated business!

This location has been around Gautier for a lone time, so if i ever have a problem, its always addressed quickly....and this is my choice of auto service shops, same people since day 1 and same prices. i like it because its very personalized.

I didnt even wanna give one star, but whatever. I get a diagnoses about my car. He tells me what needs to be done makes me pay $600 to start. Afterwards, he keeps my car(its still there, its been almost a month) and says he doesnt know whats wrong with it and Ill have to take my car back as is. I promise Im taking this dude to court.

They shouldnt even get this. They have taken advantage of a lot of people. Mostly Ladies and Young girls that doesnt know anything about cars motors relays coils fuel filters,the list can go on. Selling things that dont need to be replaced. Then taking a lot longer than should. Ordering wrong parts. People with no knowledge of the work going on answering the phone giving wrong or different answers to cars or jobs, causing confusion for the customer. Would not ever recommend. Was not impressed with Steve and this Firestone. And I even worked for Firestone,in the 1990s erra. You word should be your bond. At least mine is. Thats whats wrong with this world, no morals and values no respect or honor for their work or the people around them.

Asked them to fix the transmission, we paid $300 for a transmission flush, car was still messed up half way home. We called up there the next day, the man said his head transmission guy was conveniently out for 2 weeks. So today I called from a different number, asked if they do transmission work. The man said yes, and just to drop it off. NO mention of anyone being out for two weeks! IMAGINE THAT. #LIAR #Crook

They lost my wheel lock removal tool. They said its not there. Now I cant get my wheels off without replacing something or spending more money. Didnt even offer to replace it. Wouldnt recommend.

Well, very under staffed, waited over 1 1/2 hour for a simple tire rotation, but left. Could wait any longer. Nice clean place but supper SLOW!

We had an issue mid road trip from Savannah to Baton Rouge and stopped here off the highway. They found and fixed the problem quickly and for a fair price! We were so happy with the service they provided. We highly recommend them for anything that may happen to you while you’re on the road out their way.

Steve always takes care of my vehicle, no matter how busy they are. He always works me in and does a great job every time and at a reasonable price.

Had valve cover gaskets replaced on my 200 sport trac. Not and easy job. Gaskets were replaced for quote I was given and job complete in a very reasonable time. No more leaks!

Good repair work, fixed my truck to get it back on the road!

I called before I went there and he told me to come in and my car would be done in an hour and a half so I waited there. After driving all the way up there and sitting there for over an hour, and I was finally told that they didn’t have the parts to fix my car. The owner also called me rude after I explained the inconvenience. I could have simply been told they didn’t have the parts when i called up there. The owner is rude!!!

We were traveling from Florida to New Orleans and got a flat right on 10. We didnt have a spare and needed to get towed. We tried to find the nearest place but the rest stop. Hidden a little further was this Firestone with the nicest staff. They had our tire and got us in right away when we explained our situation. They put the tire on and we were in and out within 30 minutes. The fastest Ive ever seen! If youre worried on your travels and youre on 10, stop here!

All I can say is Horrible.

They do excellent work in a timely manner with honest pricing and the customer service there is exceptional. They have even given me a ride to work and delivered my vehicle to me when repairs were done.

Steve sold me a set of tires almost two months ago and failed to tell me that the brand he sold me had horrible reviews. The tire was completely defective, and he was no help at all. After he realized I wasnt purchasing another tire for $200, he pretended to be too busy to assist me any further, and he had all of two customers in the lobby. I wanted to give them NO stars but I had to select one to continue. Horrible customer service, unless your letting Steve rob you!!

Had an issue that could have been serious, they diagnosed the problem, fit me into their schedule toward the end of the day and got me back on the highway. Horrible service!!!!! Owner Steve is a liar and thief!!!!!Worst experience ever the owner Steve is rude and a liar and a thief!!!!! I brought my truck in for an alignment rotation and balance. They broke off my LugNut and tried to tell me that it was like that before I came in. They actually worked on it and tried to remove the broken off peace and didnt come and tell me that it was broken until after when it was time to pay.I told him I knew for a fact that it wasnt like that before I came in and that it was obvious that it was freshly broken off anyone can see it. I left and immediately took my truck to two other places for their opinion and both told me 100% that it was just broken off.. Then the second place looked over my truck and told me that two of my tires werent even balance because they had no weights on the rims so it was clear that they didnt balance them. I then left to drive back to Firestone to conconfront Steve about the work that I was charged for that wasnt performed as well as the broken LugNut. Why I was driving I tested the alignment and it was clearly done poorly or not done at all.. When I got there I told the owner about the work not being done and the poor alignment. the owner Steve was rude and quickly told me he did not want to hear what I had to say and quickly ordered me out of the store and off his property. I asked him to simply show me the wights on the rims and show me they in fact had been balanced and he then again ordered me off the property and threatend me.. All I wanted was routine maintenance work done to my vehicle and it was a disaster... Also to mention the other two mechanics that I brought the truck to for their opinion told me that they had known about this guy for years and that everybody knows that you get horrible service and that hes a liar he has that reputation. My advice to anyone whos thinking about going there is definitely absolutely without a doubt go somewhere else

BEWARE. We dropped our wheels off to have the tires removed from the rims and mysteriously they came up “stolen”. These people, owner Steve Moye, are crooks. He is a liar and a thief. He thinks he gets away with things like this because he has a temporary, removable sign stating that he isn’t responsible for your property. Think twice before you give this crook your business and take it elsewhere.

They are independent and cannot give you a nationwide warranty even tho they say they do.
