Ive been wanting to go to Scentcerely Yours since they opened 3 years ago but havent made it there until today. I surprised my 9 yrs old son and took him there so we could have some relaxing fun in the air conditioning since its 95 degrees outside. At first he had no idea what he was there for so I asked the staff to explain to him what he was able to do. They had over 100 different scents along the wall to choose. First you smell any, or all, of the scents you think would appeal to you and write down which ones you enjoy. Then after you make your selections, you choose a vessel...a candle holder, a wick diffuser, or a body treatment (ie body scrub, shower gel, body lotion, ect) that you wish to choose as your craft. Next, one of their knowledgeable staff members will make sense of your selections to help you combine possible options. You get the chance to smell what you like best before combining the scents together. We had a great deal of fun blending our aromas together. We both chose to make candles and since the aromas change seasonally, we want to come back at multiple times during the year. I would give Scentcerely Yours 10 stars if I could. The shop was super clean and welcoming. The staff could not have been more welcoming and so pleasant to work with. Hands down a terrific experience and my son really was glad for this surprise!

We had such a great time here! We came for a couples weekend and it was the perfect activity for a date! Such a fun, unique experience. The owners are very hands on and add the perfect touches, all the way down to bagging up your finished product. We will definitely be back again!

A friend and I took a trip down to Geneva from Milwaukee. We didnt really have any plans in mind. We came across this shop walking around town and decided to check it out. It was SO COOL! Karen helped us the first day making our candles and room sprays. We had so much fun we came back the next day when it opened. Devon helped us make our body scrubs and body mists. Both women were very helpful and fun to talk to. Everything was very fairly priced. Wish there was one closer to us!!

One of the most creative candle stores Ive ever been to. We came here only to pick up some candles, but were fascinated by the fact that you can actually sit and make your very own candles! Get your wine and beer and you can make it even more delightful!

I love this place both personally and for my business! I’ve been here for a girls night out - BYOB and candle making... so fun! I’ve also brought my 3 year old here to make a candle for his teacher’s Christmas gift. When he gave it to her He was so excited and said “I picked the smells out just for you” she was so touched, she cried ❤️ As a wedding planner, I also love Scentcerely Yours for myself and my clients. With the owners help, we created “calming” scented mini candles that I give away to my clients during the stressful period of planning their wedding. I also love that couples can make their own scent and give them away to guests as wedding favors. Such a unique experience that I am so glad is part of downtown Geneva!

Sooo many options, prices compare to other candle stores which is great considering you make your own. Staff is fun, upbeat, super helpful, and knowledgeable in helping you pick good scent matches. Highly recommend for couples, girls day, personal care day, for all ages! Will definitely be back

We took my 4 year old son to make his very own candle and we had a blast! I made one myself too! Everyone that works there is so knowledgeable and they made the experience really interesting for my little one. What a wonderful concept and Im looking forward to going back soon!

What a great idea! I made a very manly scent today and got the lotion and body mist. My wife did the defuser. We both had a blast! Very friendly staff and a well thought out atmosphere. I can see how this would be awesome for parties. I will be back for sure. Also, very reasonable priced!

Weve been here twice and our experience was great both times. The choices of fragrances are top notch and the employees are helpful when choosing which mix together best. I imagine it would be fun to come in a larger group for an event. Definitely recommend Scentcerely Yours.

Had a date night with the wife and strolled into this place on the whim. I wanted a new scent for a couple of bathrooms and some soap. We bought the Jade sprays (cause we have two boys who would busy the diffuser or candles) and the mango mint hand soap. So far so good. You can make your own stuff but we were hungry so took a pass on that option. Met the owner and he said the place is BYOB too, my wife liked that idea. Thanks again.

This place is the bomb! My mom and a group of her friends had a party here and invited me to join them. When you walk in there is a full wall of candles with a huge variety of scents. Youre given a sheet to mark some of your favorite scents and then you work with one of the shop employees to create your custom candle/room spray/body wash etc. Because it was a pretty large sized party (13 or so), we had 3 employees helping us. My section got Mark and he was so much fun to create with! I was really struggling to combine the different scents I liked into what I was looking for, but he was kind and helpful, and his knowledge of the different scents helped me create a body wash I love using!! I did feel a little rushed at the end, so I think it would make more sense to have a longer party time for groups over a certain size, or limit group members to only make one thing. Ill definitely be back!

I heard about this concept at a business meeting and figured I would check it out. Me and Mary walked in and were met by a staff member that walked us through the process of creating our own scents and picking out the vessels for our personal one of a kind candles. Rob and Suzy have done a great job bringing this concept to life. You not only leave the building with a creation of your own but will also have had an enjoyable experience that you will be sure to share with your family and friends.

I first tried Scentcerely Yours when they opened nearly 2 years ago and it has been two years since I’ve purchased a candle anywhere else!Naturally a skeptic, I immediately compared my first SY candle to a Bath & Body Works candle because those were always my go to‘s before. I lit them for the same about of time (single 8oz from SY and a three-wick from B&BW). I was stunned to see that my three-wick B&BW candle burned at a much faster rate than my SY candle did. My SY candle actually burned for three additional days beyond when my B&BW candle burned out.This fact, along with Scentcerely Yours’s customer service, the entire custom-scent creation experience, and their amazing product line is why I continue to go back week after week (I kid you not; I have become a regular customer there). I also love that I can create a custom scent FOR EVERY PRODUCT to match my mood or the season!Having a Scentcerely Yours experience is great for a date night, kid date, or ladies night out! You can BYOB while you’re busy creating your custom scented products!

My 11 year old daughter and I were looking for something new to do and we happened upon Scentcerely Yours. We each created our own scent and made them into candles. Then I got her scent in a room spray and she got one of mine. The staff was very friendly and streamlined the process since they have many scents to choose from.

Had a great time here last night with my boyfriends company. They hosted an event for us to create the brands Signature Scent that the company will use in their office and will use in candles they send out to clients. Genius! You can also come in and buy pre-made candles. This is how it worked:1. Smell the wall of scents. Over 120 scents to choose from.2. Write down your favorites on a clip board.3. Try smelling the different combos of your favorites until you find a combo of 2-3 that you like together.4. Mix the oils5. Pour oils into candle mixture and wait for them to set!Im excited to hear which scent won, we were in competition with one another. This would be a great place to go on a date, activity with the kids, a company outing, daddy/daughter date, bachelorette party, fun family outing, friends...they told us that if you come on a date, you can grab dinner local while the candles set, and theyll deliver the candle to you at the restaurant youre at! Great touch and service!Rob and Susie own this beautiful business and their passion shows! Theyve got a great concept and great staff. I hope more people will venture in here and try it out. We need to support small businesses!
