I recently had my rv dining cushions reupholstered at Fabric Bin. From my initial correspondence with Beth to picking up the finished cushions this week, has been AWESOME. I received a quote through texting (I provided dimensions and pictures). The quote was very fair which also included the price of fabric. BTY - their in house fabric selection was amazing although they have books readily available for custom ordering. The lead time was estimated at six weeks, which they finished slightly under. Would strongly recommend using Fabric Bin again and would easily refer to friends and family.
Not happy with the service and follow through on repairing Eclipse E-Zip Motorized Shade. Purchase 5 years ago, one side came out of the track after a year, it was repaired and stayed in for a while. Came out again and the crew came out a couple of times to try to fix and concluded the screen shrunk and could not fit the track, they said it was under warranty (10 year) and would contact the factory to replace. That was back in December 18. The screen still works but one side is not connected. Hoping that posting this will get some attention. Note: Attached picture was from December 18.
They do not honor their service warranty. One of the 14 Hunter-Douglas power blinds I discovered was installed too close to the window so that it would catch the lip of the lower sash and stop. The invoice/contract I signed said that if the problem was with installation, there would be no service fee if within 5 years. When I contacted them, they referred to the blinds company warranty of one year, but I love the blinds and the company that makes them. What I dont like is that one was placed to close to the window. All it needed was to be moved 1/16-1/8 inch out. I do not know how to do that. Their response to the BBB was to lie, referring to talking to my wife at our Austin number when we were both in California for my daughters birthday. There were no phone messages upon our return either. I love Hunter-Douglas power blinds, but if you are going to buy some, buy them elsewhere. Someone else might be more interested in customer service and honoring their warranty of workmanship.
Fabric Bin originally installed our automated outdoor screens a few years ago and it was fine. We decided last January to have the two end screens replaced with stronger sun blocking ones. It’s still not finished! First, they were made wrong, then they shorted out 2 motors while installing, they cracked the granite around the outdoor grill & it all had to be replaced. They changed the appointment date or arrived without the right parts almost every time. When I complained, Danielle told me I had a “first world problem” & hung up on me. They were suppose to be here yesterday to fix them yet again, but have now cancelled til the 26th - 2 weeks later! No apologies - nothing. Hopefully we can finally get this resolved w/in the next calendar year, but doubtful. Never ever try to do business w/this company. Danielle is by far the rudest receptionist we have ever dealt with. She needs to go!
I had a wonderful experience at the Fabric Bin. We had several pillows from our 12 year old couch recovered and refilled to give our couch a new life! The upholstery team was able to recover the front of the pillow to a new and more contemporary pattern while still keeping the original, microfiber fabric in the back. Everyone was very helpful. I worked primarily with Beth who answered all my questions in a timely fashion and communicated well via phone and email making me feel like I never had a question about what stage of the process we were in or what to expect. I also appreciate how quickly they were able to get us on the schedule and how quickly I was able to pick up my pillows! Thank you!
Fabric Bin did a great job making us new outdoor cushions after some animal destroyed them. Beth was able to get the exact fabric and copy the design of the cushion. So much cheaper than getting replacement cushions from the manufacturer. Highly recommend!
Beth was amazing! She helped me choose the fabric (huge selection there), the trim, and studding for my very large bench/ottoman. She explained each fabrics durability, too. (She has the patience of a saint.) Its beautiful and a conversation piece. As I was moving it into my house my neighbor fell in love with it and asked for Beths information! Im planning to recover my living room sofas next and cant imagine asking anyone else to do it.
I had a loveseat and wing chair that were pretty outdated. I looked and looked at furniture stores, but was totally unimpressed with what there is to offer these days as far as choices go in designs and fabric selections. For the most part, everything is in tones of gray, which I find to be very boring. Their styles are contemporary/modern ... nothing traditional. Since I still liked the style of my furniture, I finally decided to go to Fabric Bin in Georgetown to see what they had to offer. I was amazed at all the fabric choices they had to offer (colors, style, patterns, material, etc). Beth was most helpful in assisting me. She quickly zeroed in on what I thought I was looking for and began bringing me books of fabric selections. It did not take me long at all to find what I wanted to use. Beth ordered the fabric and set a date for the work to be done, saying it would take a week once they picked my furniture up. Sure enough, like clock work, they picked up my furniture very early on the morning scheduled. Beth kept me informed during the week, sharing photos of the progress being made. Within a week, myfurniture was returned. I was totally impressed with the change in appearance itmade in my hearth room. Their workmanship is outstanding. Their attention to detail is superb. Their customer service is unbelievable.
Ive done a lot of services with Fabric Bin. My last project with Beth was highly successful. She expertly guided me to the correct fabrics for my chair and pillows and oversaw my project until it was finished. I would recommend her to help anyone with any of their home furnishings.
Beth did a great job of listening to what I wanted and then working with me to get it done. Everything was well coordinated from start to finish. And I love my furniture!
From beginning to end so far our experience w/ Fabric Bin installing our automatic out door shades has been awesome! I cannot remember the sales guy’s name and it isn’t on my paperwork, but he came out and was very nice and gave us a quick quote. After 2 other quotes Fabric Bin was substantially lower, that can sometimes make you nervous, so my husband and I went to their store to see the product. The owner Wayne and his wife were great. They spent time going over all the colors with us again and we felt very comfortable going with them after that visit. We waited about 4 weeks for them to be made and install happened smoothly. The two men who installed also did the electric and everything was top notch and they left everything perfectly done and clean. I would definitely recommend them as service, product and price were all the best.

Had my piano bench reupholstered at the Fabric Bin and they did a wonderful job. Large selection of fabrics, timely completion of the project, great customer service all around. Id recommend them to my friends and family in need of reupholstery work.
Beth and her team of experts did an excellent reupholstery on my “vintage” camelback sofa. The fabric they recommended to be pet resistant has worked out well for me, and the piece that I almost sent to a donation place is a focal point in my room. I highly recommend them. An added bonus...the work was completed exactly as scheduled.
Beth has been highly responsive. I have liked her choices of fabric and attention to detail. I highly recommend Fabric Bin.
Great customer service!! My family and I recently had our leather ottoman and bar stools reupholstered. The ottoman and bar stool came out beautifully. The ottoman and chairs are always complimented when guests and family come and visit us. Great job!
Beth is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I love that she gives me different options and stays in my price range.
Wonderful experience at the Fabric Bin! Danielle was super helpful in finding the right fabric to reupholster my Grandmother’s dining room chairs. Very attentive staff and the chairs were done earlier than expected!
We bought Eclipse porch sun screens and absolutely love them! Ryan and Edward were excellent with the initial installation and have provided outstanding customer service when we required a service call. I strongly recommend Fabric Bin Georgetown if you are considering solar screens!
Annie and all of the folks at Fabric Bin did a great job with my shutters and shades. They look beautiful and are wonderfully practical. I highly recommend Fabric Bin!
Beth helped find the right cover for my chairs and that wasnt easy. Very helpfull!!!
The Fabric Bin crew installed retractable screens on the three open sides of my back porch. It was a complicated job with a fireplace and beams in the way, but they figured a way around it all, measured everything perfectly, started the installation project within a few weeks, and stayed until the job was not only completed, but completed beautifully. The installers were real craftsmen. I highly recommend the Fabric Bin.
Years ago I would have given Fabric Bin 5-stars for quality, service and friendliness we had received at that time. Today I am having a difficult time giving them a star at all. We spent $10,000 for indoor and outdoor shades several years ago and were quit pleased with our shades and the service we received. Just recently the motor on the indoor shade stopped working. After putting in new batteries, switching out the battery pack from one blind with another we called Fabric Bin since we had a 5 year service warranty and were still within the date. I phoned and spoke with D... and was told that there would be a $95 service fee. I told D.... that the contract clearly stated and I quote „Free service calls for warranty issues are limited to the first five years“. She informed me that we had purchased the blinds from an employee who had left the company and they would not recognize the terms he offered his customers. I explained that the guarantee was written on a Fabric Bin pre-printed invoice under FABRIC BIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS. She said she would have to talk to the owner and would get back. She never did. I called several days later and was told I had to pay the $95.00. After explaing once again the fact that we had an invoice which clearly states our service was still under warranty I was told I would have to pay. We found another company who came out to check the interior blind - free of charge. He found that indeed the motor was defect and sent it back to the manufacturer for a replacement. We have since ordered an exterior blind for our terrace, not from Fabric Bin but from Legacy Awning & Shade in Lampasas. We live in Travis County and still Legacy helped us.
