I WOULDNT GIVE 1 STARWorst experience ever. This company needs training in customer service, manners, and communication. They are nice when you put deposit down after that good luck getting ahold of them. Our pool sat at the location for 3 months I even sent multiple emails for eta never responded.When the contractor finally called 4 months out he committed to Thursday shows up on Wednesday they work for 3 hours promised to be back Friday never came back wouldnt even answer his phone texted Ill call you back and doesnt. Nice Hector.....Called Manager at 10am left message with some girl. Called back 3 hours later get more lies and excuses from RUDE MANAGER .I never got your message I explained citation and they can finish job as promised or pick up their pool either way come back as promised she didnt care said Ill call you back. 5 hours later I call back and was put on hold for a hour and 45 minutes. At that point I was done being treated like I had to spend my money with them. I assure you there is more to this bad experience this is just the icing on the cake. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THEM THEY WILL NOT APPRECIATE YOU OR TAKE CARE OF YOU...

My experience with A-Tex Family Fun Center was great. The Georgetown location is where I bought my spa from and I received excellent communication and was able to make an informed decision on the spa that best fit my needs. I had an opportunity to work with Kensey, store manager, and she ensured everything from contract to installation was smooth.I do not give 5 stars often, but in my experience with my purchase, this rating is well deserved.Thank you,David in Georgetown

I needed a lot of pool equipment replaced after the February freeze. I primarily worked with Camryn at the Georgetown location. She was very helpful and communicated back and forth on the phone and by text. She kept me up to date and solved problems for me. She is a winner and she won my respect and my loyalty for the company.

I purchased my first ever spa/hot tub from them and I am so happy I did! They were super helpful throughout the entire process. Blaire was able to answer my questions and helped me pick the perfect unit for us. Wulf has also been incredible with making sure everything was good to go with delivery and maintenance related stuff for us. I couldn’t be happier!

Stay clear of buying Maytronic Dolphin robotic pool cleaners from A-Tex.A-Tex WILL NOT warrant the mail in rebate Maytronic is offering (I thought retailers HAD to offer the Manufactures rebate. That would be like HEB not taking a good kraft coupon! lol) and ALSO selling the lower model at the higher model price. (Be like buy a Tahoe LS and paying the Z71 sticker price) Simply go online and wait the 5-7 days for FREE shipping. I called the young lady three times to verify the pricing just to make sure the young lady was getting the correct info.

Awesome people that helped me find exactly what I needed for a custom solution. No other place had the knowledge or willingness to help. Look forward to going again.

Customer rep was a little pushy. We came in and stated that we were in the early stages of looking for a spa tub but hadnt visited other stores to make a comparison. Rep was helpful but kept trying to get us to make a deposit to lock-in some deals.

Saw a spa at the Spa Expo, from A-Tex, and went to their store to purchase it. I found the exact spa in the champagne gold color and purchased it on lay-a-way while I finished my deck.But when I went to make my final payment, the spa was gone. The manager told me that the gold color I had selected was recalled, and that I would have to pick one in a different color. However, the manufacturer told me on the phone that there had been no recall. So under questioning, the owner, Chris Secard, admitted that the manager had sold my tub to another customer. He then refused to refund my money, saying in the small print it says if the tub I want is not available, they can exchange it for another!Ended up taking him to court, but owner Chris Secard didnt even show up! So, of course, I won, but believe me, you dont want to get in business with these crooks.

Site is difficult to get to. Exterior needs some TLC. I was greeted promptly, but had to ask several clarifying questions to get the answer to my original question.

Do not purchase a pool from this company. The sales people LIE about warranty stating liner issues will be covered WHEN THEY ARE NOT! I had two different companies come out and tell us that they have never seen this happen to a liner before. It was not chemical damage and it was not cut. BOTH SAID THIS. They said I could cut the pieces out and send them in. How can you cut pieces and that would make all the water come out then the pool would collapse!!!!!??? Mind you, our pool is not even two years old and has been WELL taken care of. Once we get this issue handled, we will no longer support this company and will buy all of our products else where. I was told I would get a call back but of course that never happened. I kept having to call them as my pool was loosing a foot+ of water a day. PURCHASE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! THEY WILL SAY ANYTHING TO SELL A POOL!!!!!!

Easiest large purchase I have ever experienced. Kensey was amazing!!! She answered all of my questions by chat and sent my quote to me very quickly. When I went to the store she was so pleasant and thorough. The whole transaction went so smoothly!

I am totally thrilled with A-Tex and with the American Whirlpool hot tub, model 461 that we purchased. When my husband and I went into the store, in my mind it was more to gather information. I am a hard sell, and wasn’t planning to buy a hot tub at this time, but the more Bob talked about all the features, and why he personally liked certain things more than others (this is valuable information!), the more I perceived that he was a valuable source of information—mostly because he had had MANY years of experience with the company, and he was very genuine. The 461 we got just exceeds all expectations. I can’t say enough about it. The great warranty, the jets, all the variations of the dials, the bluetooth speakers, the lights, the two arches of water, and the energy efficiency are all wonderful in themselves. But what surprised me the most was the looks of therapeutic pain (the good pain) from the massaging jets pin-pointing the precise muscles of my family members, the eventual loosening of the tension of their facial muscies, and the ensuing smiles afterwards!! One said she felt like a million bucks and now can move her head. Another said the jets had numbed his shoulder so much, and had massaged just the right muscles that now he was able to do his Austin Metro route on his bus (not an easy thing!)—the day before, he could not finish his day because his arm just could no longer steer the big wheel. I have felt the relief myself on a crick between my shoulder blades, as the wiggling jets of water pulsed on the pinched area, and eventually the crick turned loose. I am so beyond thrilled, I recommend a hot tub and in particular, your store, to anyone. All my kids want one now! Thank you so much for everything, and for your integrity and service to the community.

I Brought a Journey Spa from this Place Salesperson was Bob and he was Awesome and knowledgeable got it Delivered on 05/20/20 and the guys were great and Especially Robbie he has been very helpful a great person, So far Im really Pleased.

We have had some issues with our above ground pool with the pool turning green and some serious chemical imbalances so we went into the local Georgetown store for some help. Well Mikel Lange jumped right out of his office to help us diagnose the problem and the best way to rectify it.First off, he wasnt just trying to push a bunch of product on me for the sale like other pool supply companies... he was truly looking for a solution. So after 20-30 minutes of discussing and troubleshooting he came up with just the right solution. He also educated me on other points of pool maintenance and how to prevent these issues and others in the future, that I had no idea that I was supposed to be doing.Very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and went beyond the call of duty!A-Tex will be our pool supplier in the future... not the cheapest price on the internet with zero customer service!

If I could give zero stars I would! I would not recommend this company in the least. The sales staff and especially manager of the location is extremely unprofessional! Go purchase from someone else, they are not honest.

The company and staff are great. The issue is with the people subcontracted to install the pool. We paid an additional amount of good money to have this professionally done and got sub-par work.

My experience with this company was not pleasant at all. They have terrible customer service. No follow up whatsoever after the pool was installed. My salesman couldn’t give me clear answers to my questions and I paid extra money to the installer for below standard work. My dream of owning a pool ended up being a nightmare. I took my complaints to the staff and they have not been in contact with me as they stated that they would. Don’t purchase anything from this company. Find someone else.
