Amazing shop! Hands down the best comics around!! Not only does he have an amazing selection, but the condition of the books are frankly spectacular. The owner was so kind and personable; truly a joy to talk with him. His prices were very fair. If you like to dig for comics this place is as close to heaven as youll find. Its like traveling back to the early nineties, I left the store soaring with nostalgia, I cant say enough about this truly hidden gem.

Id schlepped up to Georgetown from Austin, because I couldnt find a coolly-curated collectors shop in Austin. The drive is worth it. Scott has a trove.Scott is a numismatist who knows the qualities, conditions and rarities of coins, as much as he appreciates their beauty. Hes also got an enormous collection of vintage and rare comic books. This shop is a treasure. Scott is an honest, careful pro and a gentleman.

I have done business with Scott many times and he has always been honest and helpful. I usually “do my homework” on items I bring in to trade and almost without fail I find that he is “on the mark.” The few items I’ve been surprised about were really because of my ignorance of the jewelry market. But he is always patient and kind in explaining his rationale and in making suggestions on how to get the best price for items.

I have been coming to gold and coin mart for a few years now ever since he was at the his old location. Over the years I have bought and sold silver/gold coins to him. Never had any issues with Scott the owner, he has always been straight up with me about everything.He also has a good amount of vintage comics for sale. I Would recommend this shop to anyone.

Store owner was very rude. Told us not to waist his time. Its called gold and coin Mart, so why didnt he want my gold coin. Every question I asked or tried to ask was interrupted by NO NO DONT WAIST MY TIME OR I HAVE NO USE FOR THATDont come here, hes not trying to do business. This guys just using this store for storage. No customer Service ethics.
