These people are awesome. I went there to deliver a load to them, and I fell and hurt myself. These people spot on for getting me some help and helping me clean up my cuts. And as to getting me unloaded they were fast and quick; courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this place to anybody that is interested in farming co-op or just general equipment needs. thank you very much for taking care of me that day. Stopped in to buy a few tomato plants. They do not have many but what they do have is 6 pk for $3.78 not bad price and are very healthy plants. I bought 6 Rutgers and 6 Big Boy hybrid.

I recently purchased a home in Woodford County. The heat source is a propane furnace. I called around several places and Southern States was cheaper than anyone else I talked to. Ella was very friendly and took my order. When they got to my house they determined the ground was too soft and they could not reach the tank with the hose on the truck. In the meantime the gauge on my tank was not reading right and I ran out of propane. I called them back and they worked tirelessly to figure out a way to get my tank filled. Most other places I called said they could not help me at all and they were sorry. Eric was willing to come first thing in the morning while the ground was still pretty solid. In the meantime Bub drove to Cynthiana and got a spare hose and met me at the house. They coupled the two hoses together and filled my tank. I just wanted to say thanks to their whole team for going above and beyond and truly EARNING a customer.

I was just charged over $5.00 a gallon to get a propane tank filled. This is double what other retailers charge. If you need propane, go anywhere else.

I dont have anything to do with animals, farms or tractors, however their gas prices are often great. Even if you dont have anything to do with farm or farm equipment, dont be afraid to go here.
