Updated Today: Saturday June 05, 2021 I ordered pozole y tacos and what a wonderful take of home dinner it made. Some of the ppl at home have never had Pozole and truly loved the pork meat. The Pozole Soup is pictured in the small bowl. $9.99 for what’s supposed to be a serving for one, but I was capable to serve small bowls for three ppl. As long as they don’t ask for SECONDS (LOL)!!!!. Soft and almost falling off the bone. I love the amount of hominy in the Pozole soup. YUM!!!.Original Post: I’ve been here several times and the tacos don’t disappoint!! To tellYou the truth even my Asian husband loves them. He even likes the pork tamales. Wish the horchata drink was made by hand or just not so sweet. The price for $2-3(?), tacos is just right!!HEY, you can call ahead to place your order because of you go during the busy time, well, you’ll be awhile. CALL THEM AND ORDER SOME TACOS de cabeza (head) with everything ( cilantro, chopped up raw onion, and raw cabbage) on it (those are my favorite!)

Some of the best, if not the best, tacos Ive had in my life and that includes tacos Ive had in LA and all over the DC area. Place was clean the people were nice, price was reasonable and the food came out quick. Everything was delicious and authentic especially the cabeza, carnitas, and lengua tacos. Seriously the cabeza tacos probably go in the top 10 or 20 things Ive ever eaten. My only complaint was I wish they didnt use styrofoam plates and that the sour cream was extra but honestly the tacos didnt need it.

I have one word for you: pozole. Hangover? Sick? Having a bad day? Amazon taking forever to deliver your stuff? Your dog ate your homework? Hangnail? The pozole from El Charro is the cure, I swear it. They’re super friendly and everything I’ve ever ordered from them has been amazing. There’s no shortage of really delicious Mexican food in Georgetown, but this place is in my top 3 for sure. My only complaint is that they only sell pozole on the weekends. It’s worth the wait, though!

Hands down best place to get a taco in Delaware! Highly recommend chorizo and Al pastor. Each taco comes in two tortillas which allows you to pile on the sauces and toppings.

In my opinion this place has some of the best authentic Mexican food that I have eaten. It is very straight forward food, and very flavorful. Everyone that works there is friendly and polite, there is plenty of seating and they also have a small convenience store built right in. I highly recommend this place.

El Charro was such an excellent find! Its a little store front that serves the best, authentic Mexican food! You cant go wrong with anything on the menu! I dont speak Spanish and most of the people there speak very little English, but I had no problem getting across what I wanted to order. The food was delicious and it was so fun to walk through the shop!

What a great find, on our way to Virginia Beach from Philly. We had carne and pastor tacos, both of which were delicious and fresh. We ordered tamales too, chicken - Amazing! After we finished we ordered more tamales to go, they were already out of chicken, so we got some pork instead. Yum!

Even tho I’m black and Mexican this isn’t just the best Mexican restaurant in Georgetown but this is the best Mexican restaurant in Delaware . The workers are nice and really friendly, the food is delicious, the pan dulce is good (just add a little more sugar) but whenever I’m looking forward to get some hispanic food this would be my number one choice to go too eat at and it’s very peaceful and a good place also it’s my number one spot to go to after school to do homework or just to make music

The food here is AMAZING! This past time I had a chicken and cheese quesadilla and my man had a chicken burrito. The burrito is HUGE and the quesadilla is packed full! Their salsas are also so good! Ive eaten food from here on multiple occasions and am never disappointed. I love this place and will continue to come here. The people here are also super nice. Its always the same girl behind the counter. She was also nice enough to print me off a menu to take with me. I have zero complaints about this place. I couldnt find one if I tried.

Clean, very friendly. If you are looking for what I call the California Taco Shop experience, this is the closest Ive found in the DMV, next to Taco Bar in Gaithersburg. Delicious tacos, tamales and burritos. Yes, I ate all of them in one sitting. I have big muscles, so I can get away with it. Their fresh salsas were also outstanding. Reasonably priced.
