The owner called me and we discussed . apparently the salesman was working off a different number than I was. The computers were down and I was given a handwritten paper with 4 boxes. the top left Box was the retail number and right below it was the sales price or I felt was that the sales pricce. Since I saw the lower number I asked the salesman is this the summer sales event price of which he said yes. So that is the number that I was working off regarding what I would owe after my trade in .I did ask twice as did my wife that the lower price was indeed the summer sales event price. H.ever the the numbers that the sales person used was based upon the actual retail price of the car. So the summer sales event didnt take anything off the retail price which is fine as long as I was told that and I dont think I would have had any problems. The manager came out and said What do I not understand which was a little insulting as again I was using a different number from the sales person. That sales person absolutely did not make it clear that he was using the retail price only to come to my final number although he did list another number which was lower than the retail price of which we ask is this the summer sales price and he said yes. All this could have been avoided if the sales person just said the car is only being sold at the retail price and there is no summer sales event price. Its too bad because it was a nice car and I would have made a deal but it was was not to be I guess.I have changed my review to a 5. 1 of the owners actually took time out to speak with me and to go over the misunderstanding. We worked out a deal and I purchased the car. This would not have happened unless the owner actually took time out to investigate a potential customers concern. Everything worked out and the misunderstanding is behind us and I thank the owner and the sales manager for working with me to get this done.

The least helpful dealership service department I have ever dealt with. Instead of working towards a remedy they would rather transfer your call three times and then hang up on you without providing any assistance. When asked to provide documentation that supports their dealership policies I was told to have a nice day and disconnected. Thank you Travis.

We have a wheel chair van fir transporting a relative. We only had one key fob that broke. We ordered new key fob so we could be able to use the van. Once the fobs were in at the parts department we had the vehicle towed in so they could program the two new fobs so we could use the the vehicle as without the lock and security fobs you cant run the vehicle. They got us squared away within 24 hours. So we are pleased.

Travis Parker was amazing. He really helped my husband & I with our vehicle. He was 100% honest, didnt try to sell us anything we didnt need. Ours was an insurance claim but then turned into self pay and he did everything he could to help get us the lowest price. Wanted to put a large down payment on a used car and the rep “messed up” the paper work so we had to fiancé the entire car. Also the sales rep agreed to a price then “took it back”. Love the car so far but we were also considering buying a new Jeep there and after today’s experience decided against it

Very disappointing in leaving this place after more than 5 years of coming here for their oil change services. My past two experiences lacked clear information. If you want an “express” oil change is better for you to stay. If you leave they’ll take advantage and would take about 2-4 hours or maybe more.

I bought a wrangler in 2015. Not only a bad purchase, but they didnt bother showing us how the car worked. Fast forward to 2019, a recall for the Wrangler, call service department and they know nothing. Fast forward end of 2020, we get notifications about recall, again, no one knows anything about it. So from a bad customer service (mgr sat back at his desk, eating and ignoring us when we asked how to work the soft top...to service having no items for recall... just not a dealership. Well be going to IGBurton for our service needs and when the time comes, a trade in.

Representatives were nice and flexible, but they checked our credit 5 times without permission - come to find out they have my name spelledWrong on every document even though I gave them my drivers license and printed my name multiple places, and was correct on the contract that was submitted. I’ve received mailings from multiple banks/FCUs stating they didn’t offer a loan because my name didn’t match my social - because they spelled it wrong.I was originally super happy coming here and my husband loves his new jeep it’s a great car, we got a free oil change and additional power steer coverage - but they’ve added 4 unnecessary hits to my credit because they spelled my name wrong and I now will have to correct it on the loan.I highly recommend their inventory - but I’d make sure to double check all documents and spellings and advise them not to run your credit multiple times without permission.

I called for service for my truck. It needed brakes. Got an appointment the next day which was good. Megee Motors is a family owned business. I honestly felt like family by the time I left there. Great folks there and I got excellent service for my truck. Unlike some other Chrysler, Dodge, Ram dealers in the area they listen and do good work! Amazing. Great place. Ill be back for my next service.

My family and I were vacationing in Delaware when my 2019 RAM 1500 would not start. I had the vehicle towed to this dealership in the afternoon before we were scheduled to head back home. Numerous calls to RAM customer care got me nowhere but thankfully Mark and Tom in the service center were able to help us out.I personally spoke with Tom on several occasions including one call where he explained his understanding of the situation and potential steps forward as well as several calls to check in with me and give me updates. They received the truck after 4:30 and made it a priority immediately. They diagnosed the issue, made a fix but recognized an underlying issue was still present. Something that the previous dealership that had my truck towed to them was not capable, or willing to do.Knowing our schedule and needs to get on the road, Tom and the staff at this dealership again made us a priority, when they truly didnt have to, and made the fix to my truck first thing the next morning and drove the truck to me and my family so that we could head back from vacation in our own vehicle.Tom and the staff here went above and beyond for us in our emergency situation and helped us as best they could in the circumstances we were each dealt. They did for me and my family what RAM could not.I would highly recommend the people here to anyone in the area, or just passing through. My brief experience with them was excellent and they went above and beyond to help a family get things back to normal.

Terrible experience. The manager, Pat, raised his voice to me multiple times and accused me of being a criminal - which he never apologized for. After he realized I was simply a regular customer, it took me 2 weeks of multiple calls and emails to get the information I needed about the truck I was interested in. Others I spoke to were kind and helpful. Just don’t do business with Pat the manager.

Multiple bad experiences here. the timing belt in my Mazda snapped from dry rot and when we took it in to get the timing belt replaced we were told we needed to buy a new car because it was totaled which was total bs. If they know you have money they will say your car is totaled just to make a sale

My first car buying experience. The dealership was easy to communicate with by email. Scheduling an appointment to test drive and purchase was a breeze. The salesman who was supposed to help us was occupied with another customer, so the sales manager came out and took the test drive with us so we wouldn’t have to wait to be seen, which was very thoughtful.The price in person against the price quoted online was different by about $300 due to local fees not applied in the Internet advertisement. Not a big deal. My salesman was personable, appreciative, knowledgeable, and considerate. The dude in finance who signed paperwork with me was also very considerate and knowledgeable, and he didn’t push me to buy anything I didn’t want or need. The price of my minivan ended up being about $6,000 less than comparable vehicles with other dealers.Each time I have reached out to the dealership, whether it’s later in the evening or as early as 7am, someone has been there to help me. They even mailed my plates to me because I don’t live within casual driving distance.I’m in love with my minivan and I don’t see how my first car buying experience could have been better.

Bought a car from the dealership last fall. Dealer keep vanity tag instead of returning it to me at the time of the trade. We traded two vehicles and only received the one tag. When I needed the tag I was sent to the Division of Motor Vehicles who told me that Mcghee motors should have my tag. After calling three times and no one knowing anything about my tag I called the owner, Mrs. Mcgee. Her customer service was exactly what I expected. When her employee told me they saw my tag around the office she called me a lier. Its a shame but at this dealership even the owner sits on her high horse and cant take responsibility for her employees. Forgot to mention, it costs me $50 to get my tag replaced.

I would have given four stars save for a recent experience where I came to pick up my vehicle after services only to return immediately due to engine service light came on after just pulling off the lot. This happened back to back times. Issues should have been resolved prior to customer pick up. I understand if it happens once but multiple times? Other than these issues quality customer service for more than 5 years.

Purchased a new Jeep Gladiator in November, 2019. In 7 months it has less than 2300 total miles and I tried to make my 3rd service appointment this morning because the check engine light was flashing and it was running really rough to the point of stalling. I attempted to get the free rental promised at the time of signing and got nothing but the run around from the service department. Poor customer service. Update they did nothing to fix the issue. Misfiring after 2200 miles!

Excellent sales staff and so far, good service folks. Came from Virginia to buy a jeep. They gave an excellent price and made my time there pretty painless. Im used to haggling and getting worn down. These guys are easy to deal with. Ill be back.Update - August 2014 - Needed minor warranty service on purchased vehicle. (Broken side cover on drivers seat). The reoccurring problem was fixed once. When it broke again I was told it was excessive force. As an averaged sized person, I have never had this problem before. Megee had other issues with service that I would take into consideration before purchasing another vehicle from them.

I went to look at a used jeep on the lot that I saw online. After looking over the car a salesman came up to me. I told him I was not interested in the vehicle after looking at it in person due to the rust underneath and felt the price was high ($7,???). He then asked what Id be willing to pay for it. I stated without driving it I didnt know, but I was not interested due to the rust. He turned around walking away with a smart comment telling me to find a vehicle like that without rust and hed pay $10,000 for it. I feel it was inappropriate to make a comment such as that. So much for just looking. My first time being on that dealers lot.I dont remember his name. Large guy, tall with a goatee.

Service department is incredibly slow. Waited for over 2 hours for regular oil change - with a scheduled appointment. Service department desk staff have not been personable or friendly, oftentimes barely acknowledging your presence upon arrival. Small waiting room-oftentimes standing room only. Been coming here for years, bought 2 vehicles here, but they need some major improvements in their service department overall.Sales staff has always been friendly and helpful, particularly the owner and his son Matt. Good guys, but man, update/improve/streamline the service department and waiting room. Will definitely be getting my vehicle serviced at Meineke next time.

What brought us back to Megees Motors was our wrangler jeep. We purchased it believe it or not 18 years ago! We loved that jeep. It never caused us any problem in the whole 18 years we had it!.Patrick ( sale person) was so so informative about the vehicles we purchased. He made us feel confident in our selections. Patrick took a lot of time in showing us everything on our vehicles. He made us feel comfortable and answered every question and made sure we understood. Everyone in the sales office made us feel important and were very friendly and professional. Patrick is the first sales person that took the time to make sure we understood all the electronics, safety features on our new vehicles. I would definitely recommend Megees Motors.

Since i bought a Challenger Ive been coming here because of the newer Mopar Express Lane.. Its like a Jiffy Lube where you just pull up.. No appointment needed and they service your car. Never been to a dealership that has had that before. Its a cool idea. Glad they have that now and its super convienent. Staff is very nice and always friendly.

Bought a 2019Jeep Cherokee Overland March 27, 2019. The experience was awful. I went in and met with “Greg”. I told him I was interested in the Cherokee on the lot and wanted to look at it. I liked it and told him I’d be back tomorrow to do the paperwork. He insisted I buy it right then and there. I told him I didn’t have time I wanted to call my insurance company the nextDay and clean out my car to make sure I get everything out. He then got on the phone and tried to call my insurance company...it was 8pm. I told him I’m not waiting on the line (waited 10 minutes) of the 800 number and will call my agent the next day and I hung up the phone. He then got his sales manager and he said he would clean out all my things in my car and put them in bags. Neither of them helped me clean out my car. They then took the car I was buying to detail it. It was gone 10 minutes. It was a terrible job. Dust all over the interior and dash, dirt on the carpet, door jams not wiped down. Very poor job. They were getting my paper work ready and I told them I needed my tags transferred as well. Oh we forgot, we will get it taken care of tomorrow. Well, BS! They were so pushy and rush me out that the rest of the employees were standing outside waiting for me to leave. You could see on their faces how annoyed they were (it was after closing time). Now3 weeks later no tags. The title person said that I couldn’t transfer my professional firefighter tags because my husband wasn’t on the title. He was there with me and we told them that and they said he didn’t need to be on the title. I have called 4 times since I bought it and no call back the sales manager or the title person. I called today and they told me since the loan had already been processed and the title done they can’t change it and I’ll have to turn in my PF tags. This is no fault of mine and they have not offered to compensate me or offer a rectifiable solution. They were only worried about the deal not the customer. This is not a place to go. The salesperson GREG was extremely pushy. I regret buying from them. Now every time I get in my Jeep I hate it. It reminds me of how terrible I was treated during and now after the purchase. They don’t care and now I have to find a resolution.Thank you - Vickie

Took Jeep in for 30,000 mile service, service involved replacing 4 spark plugs and throttle service. I paid the bill for the service which I didnt mind. My reason for such a low rating they are padding customers bills with a so called EPA FEE. My fee added to the bill was $34.66 addition to the bill. If they are doing this to all their customers they really need to be investigated!!! Im sure that FEE is not going to the EPA but their pocket.

I could not be more pleased with my purchase experience with the dealership. I just bought a 2015 Jeep Patriot with no sales pushing or scams. The sales woman Karen Spicer could not have be more helpful and friendly. I have spent more time in dealerships not getting the price or car that I wanted, I think the total process with Karen took about an hour and a half from start to finish. Incredible experience I would suggest this dealer to anyone.

Called about a used car they had in their inventory and was quoted a price of $9,999. Go to see the car only to be told that I was given the wrong price and the car I inquired about was $4k-$5k more than quoted. Seemed like an old bait-and-switch tactic to get us in the door. Worst part was the sales manager knew what had happened but didnt bother to come and say 2 words to my father and I. The salesmans desk was right next to the managers office so we heard everything he had said to the salesman only to have the salesman come out and repeat what the manager said. My family and I have purchased cars from them in the past, but seems like things have changed. Buyer beware!

My wife and I found a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara online. We called about the price and they said 25,500. After she drove an hour and a half to get there and a test drive with the sales women, the manager came out and said there the saleswomen was wrong and the car was 27,500. The manager was unwavering and rude. I thing it was an old car sales trick, and was done on purpose. Reel a little girl in with a lower price and gamble on if they will be able to leave empty handed. Spent three hours there after test driving a used jeep wrangler waiting for them to give me numbers on vehicle price and financing . When my salesperson said she had seen people with horrible credit still get a car loan I should have walked out. I have OK credit and they only gave me payment numbers and price after I was pre-approved for a car loan.I didnt like the price for a used jeep even with low miles so I left. Its been 3 weeks and Im still getting loan rejection letters ... up to 17 so far and my credit score has dropped 40.points from rapid loan requests . I wouldnt suggest going there without your own financing.

Service dept. failed to correct mechanical issue. Got the usual dealership run around. Four times back to service only to end up with a five hundred dollar unrepaired vehicle. Tried to charge me six hundred on top of the original bill. Typical throw money at it until we believe we fixed the issue instead of owning up to their original mistakes of repairing it the first time correctly. Will not be returning.

Ive gotten a couple of vehicles there. I switch out about every other year. By far this is the most inefficient dealership Ive dealt with. It must be a family dealership with family and friends working there. They do not know much about customer service, no sense of urgency, and not always the sharpest. However they are friendly most of the time. If you want to chew straw and talk on the back of a tailgate about nothing, this is the place for you.

My wife had asked f/ the tires to be rotated and checked f/ proper pressure, which is the norm at each oil change. she also informed the service technician that one of the tires was losing 2 -3 psi daily if he could check it. Long story short . The tires were never checked or rotated nobody cared. I called my sales person ( Katie ) to voice my complaint and her response was, thats not my department let me get you over to service . At which point I got someones voice mail, I left message and never got a call back. So we took the vehicle to Mr. Tire and Meineke and were told there was a nail in the tire and it needed to be replaced . Unfortunately I had to go back to MeGee to get a matching tire otherwise I would have bought it elsewhere . So the question here is, had the service department checked the tire as requested could this issue have been avoided? The end result is a new tire had to be purchased on a new jeep w/ less then 8000 miles . Nobody cared my sales person ( Katie ) was just your A Typical sales person in the end, she did everything to get my business but nothing to keep it. I will not purchase f/ this dealer again!
