Ordered a fireplace in June and was given the impression it would be available the next month. Things got delayed, which is understandable, but every time we called or emailed to set up an installation, their phone system was down or the emails went unanswered or answered with non-answers like Ill get back to you. It finally came in and went to pick it up today and was told that since wed opted to use our own installer, we werent on the installation schedule and wed have to wait another two months for install. At no point did we say we wanted to use another installer and in fact explicitly stated we wanted to use their installer.Very friendly sales staff until they make the sale, then you get stonewalled and strung along for months and they never answer their phone. Go ahead and try to call now, and you wont get through.

They have a nice selection and I have bought several pieces from them over the years. Expect to pay very high prices; its not Home Depot quality. My recent order ran 5 months behind with little communication. They called me 3 times in one day to get the final payment though, then passed me to the delivery department that never returns phone calls. I have left 2 messages. Frustrating.

I would steer clear of Georgetown Fireplace & Patio. Sure, they have a great floor room with knowledgeable and friendly sales staff. But thats where it ends. I thought their high prices would be offset by their service, but Ive learned over the past year that I was mistaken. I purchased a fireplace from them last year for new construction. Its *always* leaked during heavy rain since it was installed. I notified the installer and GFP several times, however, they seldom respond. When they do respond, I get the first Ive heard of this... top priority... working with the manufacturer... well get back to you... and a bunch of other meaningless words.

Good local retail store. They have quality outdoor furniture IN STOCK that can be delivered within a week. Sooo much better than waiting weeks on an over-rated national chain. Chrissy helped me select these rocking chairs, rug, and pillows and arranged for them to be delivered in three days!

We stopped in here browsing for our new patio furniture. The staff was very friendly and had good vibes. The furniture looked well put together, sturdy, and whoever does the decorating is really good at it. We havent purchased from here yet, but will totally be coming back for a fire pit set.

My wife and I had been searching for a fire pit table for awhile and ended up venturing out to visit Georgetown Fireplace & Patio this weekend. Patrik remembered me from an email Id sent the week prior and showed us around the floor. Rather than trying to push a sale on us, he asked us the right questions and helped us slowly hone in on the perfect table for what we needed. He gave us some flexible options to ensure we stayed within our budget and his honesty about various products we were considering was very refreshing. After locking in our purchase, his VERY friendly staff helped us load the purchase into our cars and we couldnt have been happier. Dont go here for a bargain. Go here if you need to find the table youd always wanted but didnt know existed.

Well they bailed me out of a jam. I bought a wood stove thinking Ill install it myself. Things have changed so much since i had a stove. The piping has gotten really complicated since i messed with them. They steered me me in the direction I needed to be. All i can say is thank you to them!!! The staff was really friendly and helpful.

We were looking to build what we thought would be the perfect fire pit for our back yard. We saw photos online of what we wanted but we didnt know what parts were needed. We gave Michelle a call at Georgetown Fireplace and Patio and she was very helpful. Not only did she provide us with instructions during an hour long call but she also was kind enough to send me photos to my phone of the exact specs of the various parts and she even took the time to draw us a picture of where the vents and drains should go. I highly recommend this business for all your fire pit needs.

I purchased three fireplace systems from Georgetown Fireplace and Patio in 2015.The systems have worked fairly well with occasional service needed. I rate the systems a 4 out of 5, because, being new, service should not really be necessary. The service has been good too. Ill rate the repairs at 5 out of 5. But scheduling service has been awful. My fireplace has been out of service for five weeks and counting during January and February here in central Texas 2021. I rate service scheduling a 1 out of 5. They blame not being able to hire sufficient staff. If a company touts servicing their sales as a part of their business, then they need to find staff or offer recommendations to others in the area who can do the work when they are too busy.

The people are very friendly but that seems to be as far as it goes. I have been trying for several weeks to get them to send their sub-contractors to come and install my new gas fireplace insert. They dont even call me to set up sn appointment.

We ordered a fireplace unit and had Georgetown Fireplace & Patio send someone out to fix a concern we had with the unit. Their technician, Raymond, came out and showed us how to use the settings to maximize the flame. He also set the unit to where the switch worked by itself without our having to do the 2-step version we were using. He was very informed, professional and thorough making sure we didnt have any further questions before he left. We were very pleased with his service and grateful to Georgetown Fireplace & Patio for sending someone so promptly.

We love this store. Not only because of the quality of furniture and fire places they offer but most importantly because of the exceptional service provided to us by Michelle, their Designer/Sales person. Michelle doesnt only possess indepth knowledge about all the products they sell, whether furniture or fireplace units, but she made sure to work within our budget and showed us every possible option that was available. She gave us ideas and tips and made sure we were satisfied with our choices. After our product was delivered she was hands on about making sure the unit we purchased was working properly and to our satisfaction. I truly believe employees like Michelle are the reason customers keep coming back to Georgetown Fireplace & Patio.....I know we will always ask for Michelle when we return and we WILL be back for future purchases.

Two burners on my Fire Magic grill go out when turned to low setting. I did the manufacturers low flame adjustment. This didnt fix the problem.I filled out their web form requesting service. I also emailed requesting service. I called twice and left messages for service. No response. Enough said.

Michelle worked with me on selecting a Vermont Castings wood stove for my house. The owner also helped select the right fitting for connecting to my existing stove pipe. It is absolutely gorgeous and I am very pleased.

The prices are a little high but sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case you get high quality, well built merchandise. Plus, if you didnt already know, they also sell kitchen ranges, freestanding stoves, and patio grills in addition to the fireplaces and patio furniture. Amazing selection. I was blown away when I walked through the door and very impressed when I left.

We have purchased fireplace inserts for 5 homes. They provide great service and installations. I like their fireplace starter squares which make it so easy to start a fire. Helpful, friendly service and they dont attempt to oversell.

I called 5 different stores looking for refractory panels for our fireplace insert (that was manufactured in the early 80’s). Many of those stores recommended Georgetown Fire and Patio so I decided to check them out. I called ahead of time and let them know how old our insert was and was told that without the make of the fireplace it would be nearly impossible to find a replacement. I showed up and Jeff spent an hour of his time and even stayed after closing to help me find an exact duplicate. He went back and forth from the warehouse many times just to make sure I had exactly what I needed. He even gave tips and tricks for installation and the pricing was incredibly reasonable (better than the 5 other places I called). Highly recommend working with Jeff and Georgetown Fire and Patio for their excellent customer service and great selection.

BEWARE! If I could give a negative rating, I would. Working with Georgetown Fireplace & Patio for a fireplace insert has been an unmitigated disaster that has left us with two *sledgehammered* fireplaces and inserts that do not fit. This place subcontracts and does not take responsibility for damages when things go wrong. Partway through the install, after destroying not one but both fireboxes, the subcontractor indicated that he had never installed this type of insert and that it would not install as expected without additional substantial modifications to the fireplace and/or insert and additional expense. Georgetown Fireplace & Patio is willing to refund the inserts (once they receive them from the subcontractor) but is telling us that well have to work with the subcontractor ourselves to deal with the damages to our home. Our fireplaces are now completely unusable and covered in plastic while we deal with this mess. Think twice before working with these folks.

Uhm, very nice... incredibly expensive stuff... if price is not object, then enjoy! They do have some very nice pot-belly stoves. Some of the more common things you have to wait for a sales person to help you with (like fireplace embers). I wont say theyre snooty, but our household only makes < $150K a year, and I felt out of place...

Solid folks! Henry family are good people Ive bought smoker, grills, patio furniture thru the years here and its always great gear that holds up. If you are looking for bargain basement go to Wal-Mart thats not what they carry, but if you are after quality check them out.

They dont call you back in a timely manner..When they do, they are very nice and promise a call when in your area..I first called them in November to repair my gas fireplace and missed the appointment because my parents didnt hear the doorbell..The next promise of a repair came in January..Still waiting..When they finally call back, Ill explain that I found a better, more customer friendly company..

Weve been toying with a wood burning stove idea for our house for years and we finally pulled the trigger. We ended up going with a Lopi Gas Stove and I cannot say enough good things about how GTU Fireplace helped up decide on the right stove but, more important, helped us through the installation and custom configuration of our stove. Brad and his crew were always super helpful and werent afraid to help us explore alternatives for our particular installation. They were hugely knowledgeable on all things fireplace and they put up with my DIY mentality. We eventually got the stove installed and working and could not be happier. Thanks again GTU Fireplace. You guys rock!

Seeing as how its been a little over half an hour since we arrived and no one has even so much as said hello, I thought maybe we could interrupt someone to see if we can borrow marshmallows to toast while we wait for acknowledgement. Cant believe we drove out of our way to not even receive a hello, well be with you when someone is available... ANYTHING After a total of 40 minutes, I confronted an employee who told me what i was saying about our wait was not true. Completely unprofessional and insulting. And this solidified our sneaking suspicion of their service prejudice.
