These guys have great lumber. Its leagues above anything you will find at Home Depot or Lowes. Dry, straight, high quality. The exact opposite of the big box stores (dripping wet, warped all to heck, split everywhere nightmares). The caveat is that you need to know what youre getting before you go and likely pre-order anything non-standard (which usually arrives next day). Its not a retail outlet where you can just wander around. You dont need to place a huge order but dont go expecting to buy a single 2 x 4. I ordered all the wood I needed to build a workbench (which wasnt much) but they dont carry 4 x 4s in stock. Robb ordered it for me and it came next day. Went to the yard and they pulled everything and helped me load it. The wood was gorgeous. Properly kiln dried, no splits, wasnt sweating, super straight (even the 16ft 1 x 6 boards were all the way straight)- a thing of beauty. I will only have to do a single pass at the lowest setting in my jointer to get a true edge. Buying all my lumber here from now on.

Asked for a quote for 250 sheets of OSB and we were told its too scarce and couldnt sell us that much??? What a joke Call Trio they actually sell products to consumers

Called and spoke with Scott regarding trusses for my hip roof. Gave him the dimensions. Emailed back and forth the dimensions and type of roof . Explained to him that I wanted a hip roof. Ordered the hip roof. When the trusses were delivered, I received trusses for a pyramid hip roof. He never informed me that there were different types of hip roofs he just sent me the pyramid hip roof. I called him and explained to him that I did not ask for a pyramid hip roof. I sent him a drawing of the hip roof I wanted and he stated he would talk to his boss. I received an email stating that the hip roof was correct and if I wanted to change it I would have to pay again. Sent a letter to the corporate office of the company and have not received a response.

The staff and associates are friendly and are well educated in what they do. Excellent group of people to do business with. Robb Roberts is a great Salesmen always bending over backwards for his customers. Highly recommend them.

I had a terrible experience with them, paid in full for a work expecting to have it quicker and they are taking a lot of time to finish the order. then, I would have to paid my employees more due to the delay on the order.

Foxworth Galbraith is an unsafe environment for someone to work. If you are concerned about your safety I would not recommend this company for employment. There were two incidents of the forklift driver lifting very heavy stacks of trusses over populated areas. The first was our workstation where people frequent for tools and water to drink. The second was over my head while I was strapping trusses together. The assistant manager admits that the action of the fork driver is wrong. If he would have hit a pot hole than he could have caused a fatal accident. The next issue is the drug infestation. I was on break and some workers poured out some white powder on a platform and sniffed it in front of many other workers. This is the type of conduct that creates an unsafe envirnment. Workers talk about people getting crushed or hurt at this job site and it makes me wonder if its from people doing drugs and operating heavy machinery. They do not drug test and that is part of the problem. This job site is very unsafe and their truss quality is lacking because of the careless builders as I have witnessed. Also, the so called manager was bad talking one of his employees about a tragedy that occured on his trip to Mexico. He made fun of a death that happened on his trip. I did not overhear this convetsation, the manager came to us and said it freely. He also said he did not care, because the worse they can do is fire him, and than hell be on vacation eating a nice dinner. The managers statement exemplifies his lack of concern for life and adds to the unsafe environment at Foxworth Galbraith. Ive decided that $11.50 is not worth risking my life around people who are on drugs operating heavy machinery.

Couldnt be more satisfied with the professional, thorough, and timely service provided by Robb Roberts and everyone at Foxworth-Galbraith. While our project was a huge job for us, it seemed to be business as usual for them. Will certainly recommend to friends when they are in need.
