Hidden Gem!!! Love this place, went the other night to browse, I recently started to collect Pokémon cards and am building a master set of vintage (base/base2/jungle) and found some great cards! Ended up leaving after my spending spree haha. Will be back here frequently!!

New to the area but this has to be one of the best locals Ive ever been to. The brands and selections are awesome, friendly staff too!

Not a bad store but feel like they almost robbed me for how little they did for my cards the last couple times. There’s just been one lazy guy all the rest been great.

Everything I really heard about this card shop unfortunately for my experience was not as I was expecting. They do have some type of Detailed online card catalog system that they insist you use instead of browsing through singles for example for Yu-Gi-Oh. I did have one gentleman of the four people who are staffed today on 8/11/21 Assist me and seemed helpful but when I approach the counter and had basic questions the response I got from one of the other three of Employees seemed rather condescending.I did ask if It was OK that I browse what they did have underneath the glass by the counter where the three employees stood, First gentleman saying it was perfectly fine. When I approach the counter within seconds of walking I was asked if I needed help finding anything and I had said I was only working and they again and insisted that I check in the computer for what they had.I did let the gentleman know at the counter unfortunately I do not see anything I wanted and saying to him for his help. When I was leaving one of the employees behind the counter asked if I needed help finding something and I told them no and to have a nice day which I got no response to know not that I was expecting one.One of the reasons why I first came here was because of the great reviews online that were given to the card shop Especially since the shop itself is Difficult to fine and not in a very savory neighborhood (inner Mesa, AZ).Other than my experience with the one individual employee that was positive there overwhelming feeling walking into the establishment was negative. As a whole they do not seem helpful or friendly in any sense of the word And seeing more worried about me browsing through an online catalog that having any type of basic conversation or even a simple hello.I typically buy all of my stuff online because it’s usually cheaper typically on eBay or online card shops however I was attempting to support my local card shop by walking in and browsing.By no means is this a condemnation of the store however my experience at 3 PM today was nothing short of awkward let alone unfriendly.It’s nice to have a local card shop where you can sit down and play with other people all my cards but at least from my experience half of the store is how they treat you when you walk in and how helpful they are.And in my case it was not anything where I felt like I would be welcome coming back. Sad considering that I had to drive almost 45 minutes away to check out this place from where I live just to have a disappointing experience. I would hope somebody else has better especially considering the reviews that they are have been given they seem to be a slight bit misleading.

This place used to be my favorite LGS for two reasons, they always fired Modern on Mondays and had just about everything I could ever need for the format in stock. Now neither is true and I have no reason to shop here.

This was a nice enough shop. It’s clearly still set up for organized play, so the space was a little weird. The selection of Magic boosters was good, and the prices were fair. The board game selection was somewhat small, but they had some nice games.

Charging triple MSRP for Pokemon Celebrations and some even above the after market prices. $75 for Lances Charizard box. $100 for ETB. $12 for boosters.

Despite being a loyal customer for years, I had a not-so-amazing discovery today in that this store does not offer returns of any kind. Additionally, their prices are absurdly marked up. I recommend going to any of the other friendly card/game shops in the area instead, or just shop online from someone with a better idea of customer satisfaction.

As far as LGSs go, this is a great store. It has a good TCG variety (though I wish the would get the keyforge game) and some other games. But you can definitely tell their market is around TCGs.

Wonderful place.Employees were conversational and polite without being intrusive or trying to upsell. They had a brilliant variety ofProducts in stock, so you’d almost certainly find something relevant to your interests. Prices were affordable and reasonable. COVID Guidelines were followed perfectly, so I never had any worries about my health in the store.It’s a little bit farther away than some other gaming/comic stores, but the experience & service provided is well worth the detour.

Dont bother going here if you look at their website and it says something is in stock. Instead, theyll claim an inventory error and then offer you the same thing, but try to charge you 50% more. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of time.

This place is a TOTAL rip off!!! Everything they sell is 75-100% more expensive here than anywhere else. Youd think that would mean they could hire really informative, friendly people.....nope!

RIP OFF!!! This store is selling new Yu-gi-oh products WAY above MSRP. Bough 2 Ghosts From The Past display cases for $300. Other stores sell them for $100 per display case. Should have done my research. I will not be returning to this store. Take your business elsewhere.

Check the prices and make sure theyre fair because I got played for 32 dollars on a card worth 20. When asked what they base their prices on they say tcgplayer but thats obviously not true. They basically mark up most product thats in demand for way more than an ebay reseller so just make sure your getting your moneys worth. Needs more transparency or else comes off as sleezy as Ive also bought new product but they forget to give me my ots packs. It would be easier if they just put stickers on the shell for product they are selling. Dont know how they are an official tournament store for anything but the free product but some employees are cool about things so props to them.

I really wanted to give this place a better review I went there today and bought two Alakazam boxes after leaving the store and heading home I placed them on my table later when I looked at them they were heavily glued and the boxes got destroyed just for me trying to open them the sun and Moon booster packs have a small crack and hole on top of them and it looks like the back has been resealed this is a shame I was really looking forward to these boxes I dont know if its their distributor or if its them at the store resealing product but due to this I will not be going back what a shame friendly staff and a nice looking place

I wish some of the staff showed more initiative with interacting and assisting customers. Too many times iv gone to both Gilbert and glendale locations.. only to be given very little to no assistance at all. I want to support My LCS even if it means paying well above retail for some products but If the employee shows no interest in making the sale happen, I leave and buy it for less off ebay.

I love this place. Love it so much I would rather drive across the Valley from the Westside of Phoenix (where I live)just to buy pokémon cards.

Anything Shining fates is almost 200% Mark up, The tins are 70$, The Elite Trainer Boxs are going for 140$, If youre looking for Pokemon please dont waste your time and selling yourself short for these awful scalper prices, wait until the stock is widely available, Sucks to see my favorite store dipping low to the scalping levels.

Commander Friday nights is always our go to. Everyone is almost always pleasant and fun to be around. All levels of skill make it fun for everyone. Awesome selection of cards as well. I do have to say, some music would be a nice addition. Overall a great place to hangout with friends and play some games!

Amazing place to shop... If you want to pay 3 times MSRP. They are literally scalpers with a storefront. Hidden Fates ETBs retail for 50 dollars. They sell them for 140 plus tax. No longer have my support with that one. I can get it cheaper from scalpers on ebay and Amazon.

This is a fun hobby shop! Come here for Magic the Gathering, or for rockhounding, Renaissance clothing, or other hobby supplies. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, there is a rewards program as well. This is a treasure of a business.

I don’t mind enjoying my Friday nights playing mtg events over at Amazing Discoveries. After a long day of studying its great to be able to sit back and enjoy a game of commander with the boys. They have tons of cards in storage that I could purchase for any deck. They have a lot of board games to choose from. Everyone is super chill. Awesome employees who know how to run the business. My only compliant is it’s sometimes hard to hear people. Overall I would give this place my seal of approval. Two thumbs up for Amazing Discoveries.

They gave a bent pack there packs and cards are over priced there prices are like game stop they give basically nothing for something worth value they sell boxs of pokemon cards for $17 dollars where as Walmart sells the same thing for $7

The staff is very helpful and friendly, taking the time to answer many of my questions and helping me to find the right products for my situation. While the product offerings tend to be a little limited, this place is definitely worth visiting for MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or Pokémon, as well as for their boardgames. I was really happy to see they have a nice variety of Melissa & Doug products, so that I was able to grab something for my younger child to enjoy as well. (Thank you Gerard and Anthony for your awesome service.)

Cool place, cool staff, nice selection. Better store since they moved a lot more room. Clients are okay to. No super weirdos. No smelly creeps. TONS of board games. Active Magic community on FNM. My buddy buys his singles there he likes them.

After being lied to by one employee and then demanding satisfaction from a other, I was banned from all their stores by a manager. Do yourself a favor, and avoid getting upset by any number of problems this place has, and simply go anywhere else. There is nothing this joint has that you cannot find at any other game shop in town. Should you decide to patronize this place, hope everything goes smoothly, because the moment you have an issue, prepare to be reminded they reserve the right to refuse you. I assure you, they did not have to ban me to stop me from returning.

Great game store! I have been going here for over a year now. They have large magic the gathering crowd, with a variety of different formats every week. Staff is friendly and always willing help find anything you need. They also have the largest supply of mtg singles for sale in the area. I have always been able to get a card I need there. Besides mtg they have board games to trial and buy aswell as comics.

My review here is based solely on my experience with the staff and the store and not so much their merchandise as I collect sports cards and only go here for storage supplies. In the few times Ive been there everyone there was very friendly and helpful. If they didnt have something I needed theyd offer to order which was nice but the store is so well stocked Id be surprised if that was ever an issue again. The store is very clean, the selection appears to be pretty decent, and the staff is excellent. Definitely worth a visit. Would love it if at some point maybe theyd offer sports cards.

A great selection of magic singles and packs. One of the few places to get foreign and old boosters in the area, and with their selection on tcgplayer for singles, one of the best selections in the state. Stay had always been extremely helpful and friendly as well.

Really like the remodel recently done. The gaming room really opened up for more fun during events. Staff remains helpful, very knowledgeable and fun. All three stores in Arizona remain the best for Magic the Gathering, miniatures and other role player games & competitions. Keep up the great management and unbeatable stock both in stores and online. Very competitive pricing on collectable cards. Best trade value for your cards you might not use any more.

Nerd haven! They have a large collection of hobbies and games to please any super fan such as comic books, trading cards, and various games and model sets. Plus its kinda entertaining to watch magic the gathering competitions while browsing.

I used to go here years ago and loved the little shop down the block. The staff has changed and the events are not accurate online. The deals on single MTG cards are good but there is a lack of communication for somethings. Overall I would recommend this place for individual cards, sealed product, and comics.

Always amazing staff, amazing stock, and an amazing atmosphere. Amazing Discoveries is the best game store in Arizona, and all of their locations are consistently amazing. What if the Amazing Discovery was inside us the whole time?

They have what you need for the most. Pokemon cards, toys, magic cards, D.D. stuff, comics, they hold tournaments. Theres 2 reason they get a 2 star rating1) They over charge a lot on almost everything.2) the guys that work there are rude! And theyre very biased on who can get a discount or who they help faster

Great shop with super nice staff. They have a super easy to use digital card library and they have a nice bill foils and land second for MTG.

I came here looking for card boxes and sleeves. The customer service was terrible. I was ignored repeatedly by the employee behind the counter, even after I greeted him. When I asked a question about the products they carry, the cashier didnt seem to know what I was talking about. The layout was confusing. Products that should of been in the same section were split up. The selection was minimal. They only had one size of the single row card boxes and no single card sleeves. The prices were misrepresented. My purchase ended up being 50 cents more than priced, not because of sales tax, but because I used my debit card and the total was under 10 dollars. I understand that there can be surcharges in that case, but if a notice was posted somewhere, I did not see it.

Staff is knowledgeable, Single card prices are fair. Their purchase price is fair. Fantastic selection. Only bad thing I have to say is the airflow is not very good so it tends to smell like a locker room.

This is a great game store! Plenty of selection in board games. Lots of tables for open gaming. Good selection of Magic singles as well. Definitely recommend!

I go here often for board games and D&D supplies. They have a good selection and always some sort of tournament or organized play going on. Comics too.

The staff was great with my 10 year old picking out Pokemon cards . She was extremely knowledgeable about the cards he liked . She was very patient. We purchased 3 cards and he is so happy.

ADG has a HUGE inventory that is shared with their multiple locations and plenty of snacks. Friday night is the night to go for Commander, guaranteed to find both casual games and pods.

This is a great card store. Had what I needed, and the employees were friendly. My nephew begs me to bring him here all the time. They also host clubs and events.

This is a little shop owned by a nice old lady, she has almost anything, and everything video game related. If you need anything this lady most likely has it. Shes extremely knowledgeable of her games, and she has great prices. Look around her shop I promise you might find a gem or two.

My boyfriend and come here every other to update our pokemon card collection. This location it always updating their stock and host fun game nights.

I was coming here before they became amazing discoveries, some of the employees are still the same employees, the atmosphere is the same as any game store that I love to go to. The prices are at or around market price, they will get to know the regulars, and they love the players and love the games as much as the dedicated players. I always love coming here.

Staff is always friendly and courteous whenever you walk in. They make sure to let you know that if you need help, that they are there whenever you need them.

This place is a great place to go if you are looking to play any rpg. They have events and tournies all the time. They buy sell and trade all kinds of comics rpgs and pop culture stuff. Its cool.

They have a large gaming area with a great atmosphere, a selection of many different kinds of multi-colored Chessex dice and a selection of games for purchase.

Thought Id update my perspective on this shop. It isnt very small anymore. Very well established, more staff, expanded play area. Still some of the best customer service! Highly recommend if you play table games check this place out!

If you are a nerd (like me) they have EVERYTHING for you. Whether its comics to RPG, they have it. I tried looking up D&D miniatures online. They only had them in sets of 20 for 30 dollars. Here, they have individual miniatures for less than 8 dollars each! They have dice, they have campaigns, unpainted miniatures and pre-painted miniatures, Pokemon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, and more. They also have tables to have sessions at.

Its a really big game store. I can only imagine how it would be during a tournament for games. The staff are helpful and friendly. Big selection of Warmachine and Hordes miniatures and a really good. Selection of RPG miniatures. A lot of comic books and a big selection of board games.

Large amount of room to play any kind of tabletop game. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday generally has magic players and Tuesday and Saturday has a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh! players. They have friendly staff and you can order from their other shop locations in Tucson or Glendale if they don’t have the cards you are looking for in Gilbert.

No hours posted. Completely closed up at 1pm on a Thursday. Maybe theyre only open at night or on weekends? Looked like they took over the place next door and have a huge selection of singles. They also have a ton of tables set up. Looks like a great place but it was closed when I went by and no hours posted so I dont know when to come back.

Just getting into MTG. Associate was very patient and helpful with all of my questions. Did receive some bad information on a deck, but overall very satisfied. Looking forward to going back.

I go here every week for Yugioh tournaments and the people and staff are awesome.

The store itself is great. The atmosphere is inviting and full of interesting products for Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokémon enthusiasts. However, most of the product is overpriced, and that is my only reason for giving a 4/5. No store can be perfect, but if everything was a bit cheaper ADG would definitely come close.

I attended my first pre-release event here. For not having played on twenty years and not knowing how anything works everyone from the staff to the seasoned MTG players were friendly and helpful. This place is definitely worthy to be the only LGS I go to. There isnt anything they could have improved upon with tonights event.
