Gentry Pool Repair installed a new filter and gas heater for me two years ago. Pricing was inline with my expectations and the work performed by Bobby was exceptional. I was a satisfied customer.Fast forward two years to present day. I experienced a failure of the main filter housing which was now out of warranty. I fully expected a hefty repair bill and understood this was a manufacturing defect completely unrelated to Gentry Pools work. I got in touch with Vicki at Gentry and she put together a cost effective solution to resolve my issue. She has made a customer for life.I highly recommend Gentry Pool Repair. Their customer service truly sets them apart from their competitors.
Bobby upgraded my whole system! Fantastic job, very knowledgeable and reasonable price! Look no further. Great job. Control everything from my iPad or phone now. My kids actually want to use my pool again. New LED lights, easy to control my hot tub, super easy. Highly recommend.
Our technician, Bob, was awesome. He diagnosed a problem that two other pool technicians field to diagnose, and he quoted us a very reasonable price for parts and labor. Equally important, he let us know what elements did NOT need replacing, and reassured us that there was no need for a total pool heater replacement. We really appreciated the consultation and will definitely return to gentry Pool repair.
He did a great job helping me out with my old but still kicking hot tub. He even took the time and effort to have some parts dropped shipped to me so I could save some cash and install the parts myself. Yes I would recommend his service, good guy.
Gentry Pool Repair replaced our Hayward pool pump drive that was under warranty. They called to schedule my appointment on Tuesday and by Wednesday noon, Dillon had installed and reprogrammed our pump. Good job!
Great service call. Finally found the right person to repair my pool/spa issues. I will only use Gentry for any future service needs.Thank you 😊 🙏
Really great service!! Some component on my pool backwash wasnt working and they came and fixed it within hours for a reasonable price and gave me a little lesson on pool care! Very professional and will for sure use them again in the future!
Seem like nice people. They came out, told me what I needed, and then told me that they wouldnt service Paradise Valley after having quoted me on the work, having me buy parts and the like. So, yeah, now 10 days into the repair Im supposed to call someone else to do the work.
A little over 2 weeks ago we hired this company to come out and figure out what was going on with our pool system, as we were not getting circulation. They sent out a guy who was very knowledgeable, professional, and a great and friendly attitude. He was able to repair things that needed done, did it in a timely manner, and provided quality work.Unfortunately, the problem was misdiagnosed and was discovered just recently after my family and I were out of town for the last two weeks. I called them back up asking if they can look at it again since it didnt get fixed the first time, and thats when they wanted to charge me again for a visit unless the things he fixed previously didnt work. I explained to them everything he fixed is working great, and they did a great job, but I think the problem was just misdiagnosed and something else must be wrong. I told them I dont agree with them charging us $75 to look at something that should have been caught initially, and the very nice person on my phone deferred to the boss, Tab.Now here is where the customer service goes south. I explained to Tab that I think the causation of the problem was misdiagnosed, and that I would like them to take a second look at it, but didnt feel the $75 charge was warranted because this is the same problem they came out to fix the first time, but missed something.Tab asked why I havent reported it during the last two weeks. Legitimate question, and I let him know because we were out of town and unaware the problem occured. His response was an indirect implication that I was lying to him by saying, Oh of course you were. If I had a dollar every time a customer told me that in my 20 years of doing this. Really? Thats how you treat a customer who just spent $900 two weeks ago and is willing to pay for another repair? Did he want me to show him my travel documents to prove it or something? I would have shown him our travel documents for Houston, Texas and camping in northern Arizona just to prove it to him and knock him off his pedestal of arrogance if he asked. So their technican Madison (sorry if I spelled the name wrong!) came back out and found the problem he overlooked the first time. He fixed it, we paid for the repair and that was that. Very friendly guy and knows how to be professional. If only Tab in his 20 years only knew how to treat customers with respect they would have a 5 star review. He should learn from Madison and the person who answers the phone. All in all, the technician they sent out was fantastic, the person on the phone I spoke with was fantastic, but the treatment from the owner to his customer was pretty bad. Not worth using them again when I could find a company who treats their paying customers with respect.
