Yummy!Just ice cream in a regular or waffle cone is also available. Eat inside, a table for two outside, or take it with you.The Baked Bear is located right in the heart of San Tan Village with easy access off the 202. Parking was challenging but not terrible for a Saturday.This place topped off a fun shopping experience. Highly Recommended!!

Okay, superior service! My husband and I went in on a date an we are in totally twintoddler no sleep can’t make a decision to save our life mode, and the girl behind the counter (Tuesday night) helped us find the perfect combos giving us recommendations and advice.Everything is home baked in house and boy did it make a difference in the taste. The atmosphere was fun located in San tan college it was the perfect place to take a walk.Recommendation: for best experience do a single scoop (it is still a lot of ice cream) but pay an extra 50 cents to split the scoop into two flavors.

This place is worth every calorie! It is by far the best cookie Ive ever had and then add on 3 scoops of mouth watering ice cream- i could go on about it forever! The service was amazing, he was very personable and happy.We had incredible luck and got there right before a rush, but honestly, knowing what i know now, it is worth a wait.Will DEFINITELY be coming back! (and probably sharing a cookie because they are huge!)

So good! Went for this first time this past weekend and it was amazing. You get to pick your top and bottom cookies (or you can do brownies or doughnuts), the ice cream in the middle and any toppings you want as well.You get to watch them make right in front of you.There was a line when we came this past weekend, but I am sure that is because they are still new.The place has limited seating and limited parking out front, but there is parking nearby and seating available if you walk a few steps down the street outside.The staff was quick and friendly.Will definitely be back!

I ordered an ice cream sandwich. I thought this was really good. It definitely didnt taste like frozen packaged ones from a gas station or grocery store. This was two in house baked Red Velvet cookies with a scoop of Blackberry Crumble ice cream in between. I really enjoyed my order. This was my first time in and the employee was very friendly. The only negative was that the inside was small. Overall, if you have a craving for a delicious ice cream sandwich, I would highly recommend. 🍦🍪

Love The Baked Bear! Its the only place that has truly good gluten free ice cream cookie sandwiches AND they always have GF cookies on hand, even late at night. Too many other places run out of their GF cookies/baked goods early in the day and never bake anymore, but not here. Theyre always stocked, which is great.NOTE: The brownies are not GF (the one pictured is what my husband ordered). Just GF cookies.

This place is amazing! We were at the San Tan Mall in Gilbert yesterday and we happened upon their location. We decided to check it out and they were so nice. We got a brownie and a cookie with some amazing smores ice cream and whipped topping. It was heaven. Everything about this place is fantastic. It is for sure a place we will be visiting again either our kids. They do a variety of sandwiches with options for cookies, cookie/brownie, brownies or even a doughnut! They also have pazookies that you can do also. On top of that they have several toppings that you can add to your already amazing ice cream sandwich! For sure a place to check out if you have a sweet tooth!

Happened to be here for customer appreciation day and got a free scoop of Blackberry cobbler ice cream. I gladly paid the extra $0.50 for the waffle cone. Ice cream was rich and creamy. Waffle cone was crunchy yet not brittle. Somehow they got ice cream all the way to the bottom of the cone. Would gladly pay for this in the future! Friendly staff and lots of options, so there is something for everyone!

Honestly, pretty rude. We came in to Baked Bear after 9:15ish pm. It closes at 10 pm. At 9:50, the two boys were mopping around us. No big deal. At supposedly 10pm. The dark haired taller boy said, Just so you know, we are closed.They still had stuff outside to do, and plenty of other things to put up. We were almost done with our ice cream.Literally, 3 min later he says I tried to be nice but now its 5 min its later and I have school tomorrow.( It was 10:03pm.)He was really rude (tall dark hair boy.) Not a place Id recommend. Go to another ice-cream/cookie place. We paid close to $13.00 for one ice cream sandwich and another cookie and ice-cream. Taste was fine, nothing crazy but service was so bad. Manners will get you a long way in life, didnt find them here.

Very yummy find!!! They specialize in ice cream sandwiches but you can also get scoops or ice cream or root beer floats. They also always have a cookie of the month and plenty of cookie and ice cream variety for everyone to pick out what they want to create their own unique blend. My dad just got vanilla ice cream between his cookies and said it was some of the best vanilla ice cream he had ever had. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Will definitely be back!

Oh so good and yummy in my tummy. I chose 2 different cookies for a top and bottom and got mint chip icecream in the middle. The cookies were soft not hard and was surprisingly easy to eat. Was enough to share with my son and was moderately priced. They also have a loyalty program to earn sweet treats. Overall a good place to get a sweet treat when shopping at the mall.

Found this spot by accident and glad I did. They have Awsome homemade ice cream, cookies, brownies and more so yummy. It is in a large shopping Plaza with tons of stores and other food lots of mom and pop shops an gourmet foods but great prices.

They allow you to sample the ice cream too, so you can cream a personalized treat! Theres also options to get plain ice cream or having your ice cream with a brownie. Very sweet dessert, but entertaining and filling!

My personal experience affects my rating here. The staff was really nice and the cookies were great, but I really didnt care for the ice cream. I sampled 4 different flavors and eventually settled on my toddlers favorite. The signature blue with brownie bites. I really didnt care for any of the ice cream flavors but I had to try the signature Cooke sandwich. The cookies however were all 4 spectacular. My wife had oatmeal and peanut butter and I had Snicker doodle and funfetti. Did I mention I was sharing mine with my 3 year old... If I went back I would get a cookie and a root beer float and call it a day. Since I didnt care for the signature sandwich which I am assuming most people will get, I am giving 3 stars. May change if we go again.

This place is delicious! Theres always a line, but its worth the wait. If you have small kids theres a little outside play place nearby thats good to let them run around.

But, to my horrific delight, I find this is the place I have dreamt of, of confectionery delight. But sadly, my wandering feet have led me here after operating hours. Oh dear wonderland of confectionery delight, I will be back, once my collective soul has been quenched, and of course during operational hours. I will be back to fill my hungering desires.

If you have a strong sugar tooth this place is heaven. Dont go unless you can eat it there or live very close...it was not as good as it could have been upon arrival home (20 minutes later) in Mesa.

This place is pretty good! The biggest thing holding them back is their ice cream. Its nothing special and doesnt hold its own. The cookies are pretty good, but I think the bear bowls and brownie bowls are the best since they come really warm and gooey. They will heat up your cookie sandwich if you ask, but they heat it after its been made, which doesnt really seem to make any sort of difference to the cookie temperature. Worth coming though! Definitely one of the best places for dessert in the San Tan mall.

Soooo, first time I came here it was great. Today, I come in with my two daughters after dinner, and there is no one in line. There is another father there with two daughters also, but they are already eating their ice cream. I come to the cookie side, where orders are normally placed, but the girl behind the counter says nothing to me. So I just ask my daughters what they want. The girl behind the counter, still says nothing, so I walk in front of the ice cream counter. This time, the girl walks to the cookie counter, where I just was, AND had to pass me to get there. She grabs something out of there and walks to the back. Now, Im starting to get upset. The girl comes back out from the back, writes on the bag she put whatever she got from the cookie counter in, and proceeds to go to the back AGAIN, still never once addressing me. Now, I understand that maybe some places are busy, or miss you because of so many orders, or whatever, but to pass by me literally three or four times, without a hello, or Ill be right with you or, one moment, ANY acknowledgment, with zero customers in line, is just absurd. I felt like she was purposely ignoring us. Needless to say, after she walked in the back that last time, I decided I would not spend my money in a place that had such terrible service. Word of advice, AT LEAST SAY HELLO, I dont care if youre busy, at least let me know you see me, I wouldve waited with NO issues, as long as I was acknowledged, now, Ill never be back.......

Come here when youre not full. They have huge ice cream sandwiches that are mix and match. If youre not wanting that much you can order just a scoop and you can have it in a bowl, cone or in a bowl with a brownie or chocolate chip cookie. This place is so delicious

Awesome Experience

I LOVE this place. I can not eat gluten and this place is really amazing when I go in to place my order. They have a gluten free chocolate chip cookie, which is amazing, and several GF ice creams. When I place my order I simply say I am gluten intolerant and they immediately change their gloves, get the ice cream from the back and touch only my item. They GET it here and they dont make me feel awful about it.The rest of my family also enjoys this place. The brownie/cookie sandwich combo is my hubbies favorite and my kids change it up every time. They are not gluten free. It is a real treat for any family...gluten free or gluten full.

Nice place to go with kids after dinner, people working here are usually very friendly.

Let me begin this with, yum! Oh my golly! All three of my family members ordered their ice cream sandwiches, we were determined to all get something different. My husband got their chocolate chip cookie with mint chip ice cream, my son got the peanut butter cookie with cookies and cream ice cream, and I got the white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie with cookie dough ice cream.Being the mom that I am, I had to try a little bit of everyone’s. I wasn’t disappointed the entire way around, the cookies were so soft and fresh! And the ice cream was smooth, creamy, and left nothing to be desired. I just loved the entire experience. We’re going to switch it up again next time we go! They will definitely be seeing my crew again soon! Yum! 😋

Service was good but it was excessively sweet. The ice cream was good quality. Id have to say the brownie was nothing to write home about and I wasnt a fan of the golden cake cookie or the red velvet, they were very dry.The funfetti cookies were enjoyed by my kids and cooked perfectly.Id be willing to try it again in the future, but for the price Id rather go to Slickables and get 3 sandwiches for almost the same price of 1 of these.

Wow! Incredible! I wasnt expecting much from a cookie icecream sandwhich. My 1st impression when walking in the little shop was its cute, the cookies look small for the price...but then I got my gooey butter cake cookies with a gob of French toast icecream smooshed inbetween. The 1st bite was heaven. I swear I saw angels. That was the best dang icecream cookie sandwhich I have ever had the privilege of eating! I will definitely go back and try all of the different varieties available! Great job on a simple concept that will bring great joy to all that stop in!

Pretty fun if a little gimmicky desert. If I had to rate based on the quality of the desert alone Im afraid I would only give 3 stars, the cookies dont taste particularly fresh and are all a bit to sugary for my taste, and the Ice cream (with the exception of a few seasonal flavors) isnt all that special. still the experience is fun enough for me to recommend to some.

I LOVE this place for dessert. Reasonably priced (like 5 bucks for an icecream sando). I get a cookie-brownie-espresso icecream sandwich, warmed up on the outside with a waffle iron. I passed on dessert at a 4 star restaurant to come here with my gf for valenyines valentines day!
