I purchased a Carli Ram track bar via the SDHQ Amazon store. After two weeks I received a Ford track bar in the mail with a Ram part sticker placed over the Ford part number. SDHQ washed their hands of the matter blaming Amazon. Interestingly the box had SDHQ tape on it and Amazon doesnt apply part numbers to products. Its obvious this part was in the hands of SDHQ before they gave it to Amazon (Amazon did not get it directly form the manufacturer). The fault lies squarely with SDHC and they are simply deferring blame. Now almost 4 weeks later Im still waiting for a refund of over $700 (part and shipping cost) and am still without a replacement part. I dont like leaving bad reviews, but when a company cant take responsibility for mistakes I simply cannot give them a good review and must warn others to use caution. I ordered a set of icon vehicle dynamics coils from SDHQ and had them on my doorstep in 5 days !! This year has been very complicated for a lot of companies. A lot of them have extremely long lead times due to the pandemic. Fortunately SDHQ is still shipping like nothing has ever happened, and I am very grateful for the hard work of their whole team. I just wanted to say thank you for staying in the game and not letting this crazy year of 2021slow you down and for keeping your customer base happy, I am very pleased with your hard work and dedication to us. Thank you SDHQ. And by the way, I called icon for the coils, they gave me a 8 month lead time.

Daniel Nishihara was incredibly helpful when I was told that the lead time for the product I ordered could 4-6 weeks. I asked if there was any way to get the product faster (camping trip coming next weekend). Daniel worked with his production team and was able to get my order shipped today with priority mail. I cant thank him and his SDHQ team enough for getting me the gear I need to get out and adventure!!!

I recently bought a spare tire carrier from these guys. So when I paid the bill online I noticed there was a $70 shipping charge attached to it. I thought this was strange since I had arranged to pick it up at their store.So I called them and asked why I should pay the $70 since I was coming to their store for the item. They said I had to pay for their own shipping costs. In other words, I had to pay for them to get the tire carrier from the manufacturer. What ??Imagine going into Walmart, buying a TV, and they tack on $50 for their own shipping costs ? People would laugh at them and go buy the TV from Best Buy. I should have done the same thing. Instead, Im never going to buy anything from these guys again. There is a principle here that has to be followed.

Not only were they able to find the part, but they got it ordered and received in under a week! Incredibly fast and top notch customer service! I called these guys this morning hoping to talk to someone about leveling my truck. I had a window of time this morning so wanted to give them a call and see if they could help me? I spoke to the girl on the phone she said they dont Just have someone to talk to when they are available they would call me when they Arent busy! Well how about that??? Id like to thank you and let everyone here know that sometimes a second chance is necessary as someone may be having a bad day and an individual interaction may not be the result of the company as a whole. I went to SDHQ the first time in November 2020 and to say I was treated bad is an understatement. The second time I went to SDHQ was yesterday, and to say I was treated great is an understatement. The 3 people who helped me were absolutley amazing with my thousand and one questions from lighting to motor performance to lift kits. Thank you SDHQ and personally would like to thank Sam for his help for over an hour of fielding my questions and taking the time to go above and beyond with customer service. Had a minor miss understanding for a part. They handled it. Brice emailed me to help smooth things along. Spoke to a super friendly customer service rep on the phone today. The weather slowed down my process a little. I will be using them again for any other part. With every thing going on today, they had the parts out to me super fast. Using the Shop app I believe, which is easy and awesome. I like the prices they have to offer. I have a new Ford Ranger and they already have multiple parts.

I made a decent sized order: 2.5 Carli suspension as well as wheels, tires, and air compressor system. They took a $3000 deposit on my order, but trying to get an itemized bill or even a receipt has been difficult. Ive called multiple times and get the run around that theyre going to submit a ticket, then no one calls me back or sends me the info I request. I mentioned that I might cancel the order if I dont get a receipt for the $3000 I deposited so they just automatically cancelled my order without verifying anything with me, and sent me an email saying theyll refund the deposit. Which I guess is fine by me, if its too hard to get an itemized bill and receipt within 5 days Im not sure this is the company for me to spend over $10k with on my truck. Just disappointed after hearing a lot of great things about this place.

My experience with SDHQ has been extremely poor thus far. I had a set of coilovers rebuilt. In the process of rebuilding, many parts needed replacement and I had them add on the heavier 700lb/in springs to account for addition of bullbar/winch/2nd battery. I eventually received the rebuilt coilovers but after installation, found them to be too stiff. SDHQ had not changed preload at all, despite this being a standard practice when adding stiffer springs. The coilovers returned to me had double ICONs listed maximum preload for these coilovers with 700lb springs. After attempting to adjust preload myself, it was obvious that the adjustment collars were seized on, thus I had to go to another shop to have them airhammered off and replaced with new collars (another $200).Considering that the rebuild cost $900 (not including the $200) with all the replacement parts, I expect them to follow through and not return me coilovers out of manufacturers specs that require more shop work to even function.To add additional problems, the $50 deposit needed to set up an appointment I was told would be applied to the service once completed. This was a lie told to me over the phone, and now I am out an extra $50 too.I have updated my review from 1 to 2 stars, as a sales manager reached out to me to get things settled. I let him know the biggest issue I had was being returned coilovers that required an additional $200 in parts and labor to be function, and all it would have taken is 5 seconds on one of the phone calls we had during the process to have made this not an issue. Also the rebuild person not saying the deposit was already applied when I was told the total cost. I was told the shock tech who did my work was no longer with the company, but that doesnt negate the poor experience I had.

After waiting for a couple of months for the product! The product showed up with no instructions! I had to call for a link! The instructions were not the best but when are they! So I called back and tried to get help and the guy seemed cool but he asked me if he could call me right back and I was like sure! I waited at the shop all day and no one called me back or the next day! So I called this morning got a lady I asked for a return label! She put me on hold then I waited 15 min and the guy picks up! Asking how he can help so I repeated again what was wrong! He said he had to talk to Engineering! I guess that takes a couple days!Customer service tip if you tell a client/ customer that you will call them back you should do that!Product looked good but the flag seems to be wrong on it as well!

Man! I must say ordering parts through these guys has been amazing! ELECTRONIC BUYERS BEWARE. THEY DON’T DO RETURNS ON ELECTRONICS. Doesn’t make sense to me at all. I didn’t see it advertised anywhere on the front end and later they send me their story policy. So if you’re buying electronics from this place make sure it’s the right one for your rig, or else they’ll suggest “attempting to sell them on a forum or local buy/sell/trade site.” Highly disappointed. First and last.

These guys dont know anything, I always have to bring parts back, cause they never get it right 1st time. Like this pic, swore it was right... nope not even close, its just a simple he351 drain pipe gasket.Then other time sold me wrong turbo clamp. Tried to bring back, would only give me store credit..Said thats there policy.So today I was a little heated when gaskets where wrong cause had to stop what Im doing and try to exchange them..Well the manager had a snowflake temper and gave me my money back and said he was going to help me out of the store.. pretty sure I walked in on my own to feet, I dont need help out cause you got feelings hurt.They suck and dont know anything when you ask about parts.If book doesnt tell them what it is, they have no clue.

Just a little warning for my fellow internet shoppers.Completed my online purchase through a company called sdhqoffroad.com. The next day they told me they decided I needed to pay shipping and would not send my item until I paid them more.Keep in mind I already completed my purchase through online checkout, nothing was said about shipping during the purchase, now they refuse to send my item till I pay them more. Feels pretty shady to me. Its a small 12 dollar item, and now they want 10 more bucks to ship it.

I had some hard to find parts and the had them. The LADY at the counter was amazing! She was able to look at the part tell me exactly what size it was what thread direction and what not. Very impressive!

I have a 17 tundra I ordered brake lines and sliders for... i contacted them before the order and spoke with one of the sales staff. We discussed materials and fitment while I made a quick look at the products on line. Suppose I should have looked at their photo gallery much better..... these sliders are the most expensive on the market and do not run wheel well to wheel well. Druing the install i noticed they stop short where the rear of the cab meets the bed. This leaves a portion of the rear fender terribly exposed. I contacted customer service just to get the typical run around. In short I was explained that I should have looked at the pictures better. If I wanted to return them Id need to pay a 20% restock, cover shipping and then they would be returned upon inspection. Ok, fine. Heres the kicker. they could not have any scratches one them. They arrived VERY LIGHT scratched... then I installed them, which scratched them more. i ordered bare sliders and what arrived was powered coated in a banged up pallet.Its a well build product. I will give them that. But for the price you pay they need to work on the custome service. Doubt I order from these folks again.

Welded my FJs motor mounts perfectly and found a tiny broken vacuum hose to the fuel sensor that snapped off giving me trouble and had it turned around quick. Got my truck back off to adventure! Thanks peeps!

Purchased a Odyssey extreme group 34r battery For my 2020 4Runner TRD Off-road They told me the battery would fit perfectly so I brought the battery home installed it and the J hooks were too long to hold the battery down properly so I drove back upset about the battery not fitting and when I got there he asked me for my keys they took my vehicle for free installed the battery with the proper J hooks no charge now that’s customer service thank you guys for your outstanding customer service I will be back and I will recommend you guys.

Wow.... This is roughly the 3rd time I have been to SDHQ. So I am by no means a regular customer, I always go when I need an odd part. All 3 times I had top notch customer service. Each time I needed a weird part and the person there not only searched up and down the aisles with me but also suggested other options that might work for my application. They are very knowledgeable, super friendly, and always go above and beyond to help. I really need to make this place my go to for parts from now on. I was impressed with the rebuild of my ICON front shocks for my 2016 Colorado with retrofit of remote reservoirs and CDCV. Prior to bringing the truck to SDHQ, it had been making noise in the front end, the front end was loose, and the steering shook a bit in certain situations. Suspecting that it needed a shock rebuild, and that a good suspension specialist would be able to identify worn parts that needed to be replaced, I took it into SDHQ. As hoped, the tech correctly identified worn parts, replaced them, and now it is as tight and smooth as it never has been in the past! Also, the alignment was absolutely spot-on. My only complaint is price, but for me, it was worth it to finally have a resolution to my suspension issues that nobody else could seem to figure out!

Lousy customer service and chose to lose me as a customer over a couple hundred dollars.Selected SDHQ for a lift for my GMC truck. After speaking with the sales guys I choose a product I thought would work out. Placed a sizable deposit to reserve a date. When the date rolled around I took in my truck to get it installed and within 15 min of dropping it off I was told my truck had suspension parts that were bad and they wanted to replace for an additional $1000. I declined as they were warranty parts and told them I would come get my truck and take it to the dealer. After getting it to the dealer I was told that everything was in PERFECT working order and no repairs were necessary. At this point I decided to cancel my order. I was told I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee on a product I had not even finished purchasing or even taken out of stock as well as an hour time for them having ineptly inspected my vehicle. I refused and ended up getting them to agree to giving me back my money minus about $300 in shipping and shop fees. I guess it was my mistake for settling for this as when I tried to bring this to the attention of the manager i was basically told I was wrong and I should have been charged the full 20% as its their policy.They would have easily made more than the $300 in my purchase of a lift, wheels and tires that I will be getting from BDM Customs instead. Its a shame because I love browsing their showroom and have bought lots of misc items from them in the past. They will not get another cent from me if I can help it.

We are always impressed with SDHQ. We’ve never had them say, “sorry we can’t help you and send you on your way.” They look to find a solution to take care of all their clients even by partnering/referring to other trusted shops to find a solution. For this reason we keep coming back to SDHQ..and they have killer taste.

Awesome place great service

So we get quoted a two hr job to do some wiring on our truck. We drop off our truck @ 8:00am was then told possibly 4 hrs for work. So we go get breakfast, as eating the tech calls says he is not sure he can do it, we ask he call us back, if it went over a certain dollar amount, it wasn’t really worth getting it done. We finish eating and head back to SDHQ, this is now 10:00am. We ask if tech figured it out, if not we will just cancel. (The wiring job was not a big deal to us so not getting it done really didn’t matter). Front desk dude, said I will go back and have him pull it around front even if he did figure it out.He pulls out truck around front and proceeds to say “I told u when u first came in it would take sometime, he was working on it, he needed a module, we try to do best for our customers but apparently we can’t”. My husband apologized and said that is not what I meant, the tech was going to call. Front desk dude cut my husband off in mid sentence and said “ Sorry we can’t do the work for u” and walked away.Front desk dude was ARROGANT, RUDE and has no idea how to work with the public. Sorry his little man ego got bruised!!!! Total Shame on him.

Had a question that no one in my home town could answer about what tires and wheels to use for my lifted 2014 Tundra. They spent time with me giving me advice and help, knowing full well I was not going to buy anything from them. Very cool! And.... they know what they are taking about. Everything went great.

Excellent place to get you off road truck parts or get done custom welding done like I did. I especially liked the girl they have taking care of customers, I wanted to keep talking to her but Im too much of an idiot to not make myself look like a fool when ever I talk to someone that pretty.

Not sure about this place. They want to charge an hour of labor($109) to check nitrogen pressure on my front shocks. They suck if it takes an hour. This was my first time in. I feel like if I bring my truck in they will try to charge as much as possible. Im going to get a tank with nitrogen. Only need a little bit.

So I got my truck back from Sdhq Motorsports.Its a Toyota TRD pro I put icon stage 9 suspension, SDHQ sliders and cold air intake and icon compression wheels. I was dealing with Bryce for about 6 months and I changed my billed Probably 6 times And every time That I would call him and Change something or drop something or add something he was always willing to accommodate with no questions asked.I will refer STHQ to anybody who asks and all my friends and family....Thank you!!!!

Ive been using this shop for odds and ends for my jeep build. Serena has always been on the ball getting the parts I need. She willing to demonstrate anything they sell, from parts under a buck to thousand dollar light setups. I trust very few people to work on my ride but I wouldnt have any problems letting these folks do about anything to my jeep.If you havent been to their showroom stop in, its like walking the pages of your favorite parts catalog!

I cant say enough about SDHQ Offroad and the quality work they did on my truck. The fit and finish is top notch and I couldnt be happier with it. The customer service is amazing and the staff can answer any questions you may have. This is the only shop that I trust working on my truck period, because I know that they are the best in the business and their work and service speak for itself. Thats why I keeping going back!

The SDHQ team are hands on and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and install. Top of the line products are on the shelf and the prices are very competitive not just for offroad or trucks they have products from drifting to Utv’s. Highly recommend the team at SDHQ you will be blown away when you walk in!

Ive done business with SDHQ in the past. So when I wanted a new set of wheels and tires for my truck I turned to them. I originally wanted to go with a bigger size tire, but they steered me away to avoid having to do any trimming to the truck. I went with their recommendation on the smaller size. When I dropped my truck off I got a call that they needed to trim or the tires would rub, and it would cost me another $230 for the work. When I mentioned to them what they told me before and that I went with the smaller size tire they recommended, they lowered it to $130. However, I ended up with a smaller tire than I wanted and paying more out of pocket. When I picked my truck up I noticed a vibration in steering wheel and the truck. Contacted SDHQ again who told me they balanced the tires and it was as a result of the more aggressive tread I went with. This didnt sound right to me so I took it to another shop who told me that the tires were so out of balance, they didnt appear to be balanced at all. I paid another $60 to have the tires balanced when SDHQ should have done this.Update 05/18/16I wanted to post an update to the companies response to my review, specifically when they said, We did not sell you your tires for your truck. When you came in looking for wheels you had a completely different style of tire and over all size was different. We installed the wheels you picked out with your new tires you purchased elsewhere.SDHQ originally recommended a 35 tire. When they told me they would need to trim, I asked for a tire size that would fit without trimming. They suggest a Toyo 33 tire. When I went to purchase the tire they didnt have them in stock, which based on reviews seems to be a common problem. I went to a different place and bought the EXACT tire SDHQ recommended but didnt have in stock. So the companies response is misleading as I DID purchase the exact tire they recommended, not a completely different style of tire as they stated.

They have a very knowledgeable staff. Was able to get parts that I needed and extras. They did not try to upsell and kept with what was needed for my project vehicle.

Red ordered my 50 gal fuel tank for my 2016 F250 Super Duty and had everything ready for the install the day I arrived. I live 2.5 hours away and needed it installed that day so I could return home. They even topped off the diesel tank to check for leaks after the install. Im very impressed with the service and communication with SDHQ. All the staff was very helpful, knowledgable and professional! I will be back for more work later. I can trust SDHQ for all my custom work!

I just called looking for a part for my 95 YJ and the young man answering the phone said, We definitely wouldnt have something like that in stock. I asked, Well how much would it be to order one and have it in stock? He replied hesitantly, Id have to look it up...isnt that how you do it anyway? Since he didnt sound like he felt like working this morning, I thanked him and found the part elsewhere.

Shipping was Fast and SQHQ was super easy to deal with and remained in constant contact!!! You can look at it as alittle Pricey but Im looking at it u get what u pay for and their Quality and Ease of dealing with actually makes it a lot Better Priced then Most!!!

I walked in on Black Friday ready to spend thousands of dollars on suspension parts and the salesman quoted me a price in which I agreed to. Excited about the purchase Ive been waiting so long to make, I go out to the truck to grab my cash and minutes later the price had increased over $300? He tells me that he made a mistake and that he took off 25% instead of 20%..? I said Im sorry, but $300 is too big of mistake to make after we agreed to a price. Willing work with them, I brought them a price quote from a competitor that met us both in the middle stating that I would love to give them my business since they were local and that I was also interested in buying additional parts for a friends vehicle while I was there. The salesman went to his manager and within 30 seconds, I was given the cold shoulder and was told there was nothing they could do. I walked out and immediately made purchase with the competitor saving me hundreds of dollars . I have received nothing but sub-par customer service/communication since the first time I contacted SDHQ. The feeing I got at SDHQ felt as if they didnt need my business and/or frankly didnt care if bought through them. Sure, I may have not been spending tens of thousands of dollars like some of their customers but what I do spend means a lot to me. Over a couple hundred dollars they have lost me as customer as well as the friends I have told this story to. Its too bad they have terrible customer service because had they taken care of me as a customer, I would have been happy to spend my money then and in the future as well as refer friends to them. I wont be back.

Great place to have work done. Had my truck leveled and a couple problems fixed. Very happy with the service and quality of the work
