One of my favorite things is bowhunting for elk during the rut which I have done for 30 years. As exciting as it is to hear the high pitch bugle of a bull elk, I found I was progressively hearing fewer and fewer of them as my hunting partners would consistently hear bugles I could not hear. Getting my first hearing aids 18 years ago helped but even with them, my son has told me I still missed more bugles each year. Unlike my prior audiologists, Alicia worked very hard to tune my hearing aids to best hear that elk bugle pitch, and her hard work made a big difference. This past fall, I upgraded to the new Phonak Audeo B series hearing aids which made a huge difference! For the first time in at least 20 years, I could hear 90% of the bugles my son heard. Alicia is, by far, the absolute best audiologist I have had! She is not only high skilled in tailoring individual solutions for each of her patients, but she really cares about solving hearing problems to the maximum extent technically possible.
