This is a Star Smog Test station - extra quality. I turned up without an appointment (they allow this). The directions to check in were clear and the wait short (less than 5 minutes) to get checked in. The person doing this was efficient, really friendly and polite. I was given a wait time the of 20 minutes. There was a clean open place to sit, free Internet and I waited about 15 minutes. Then it was all done! The cost was highly competitive.I have never had such good and fast service for doing this in twenty-five years.

I always come here for my smog checks. This couple is THE nicest, welcoming couple. Many times when you go to an automotive care place, people are mechanical and you know they want your money. Not here, its like having your uncle smog your car while you chat with your aunt.

The couple that run the business are very friendly and courteous. Before I even brought my truck into the testing area the lady advised me not to test it because she could hear that it was misfiring and go fix it first. That is very good customer service an advice from a good smog check facility.

After having smog stations do everything from telling me a car wouldnt pass because I had to big of tires, reving a van unit they broke both exhaust manifolds to loosening my carburetor and then wanting a hundred fifty a hour to work on it ( I found out what they did by just looking under the hood) . South County is the only place that Ill trust to be honest.

The owners are wonderful, nice, honest people. Great service and I will definitely be returning with any future needs.

Run by a friendly couple out of a large warehouse. Last time I went my car didnt pass, and they went out of their way to tell me what I should tell my mechanic to fix, and emphasized that I could bring my car back for a free retest. Smog tests arent fun, but if you need one, you need one, and this place is great.

The best place Ive ever had any of my cars smogged tested at. I drove an 1987 Pace Arrow with a chevy 454 big block right into their shop and I met the nicest and the most honest smog shop owners Ive ever met in my life. The nice lady explained everything as it was happening and when she got to the gas cap she said it was common for them to go bad and they had replacements for sale for $6 or $7 if mine failed. Which it did but the guy doing the test popped out the rubber gasket and flipped it over and ran the test again...........Bam! Snap!! Passed!!Turns out the old boat PASSED THE SMOG TEST. WOOO WHOOOO!!I know where Im taking all my cars that need a smog test in the future 😋😁😎. I highly recommend this smog shop.
