The pandemic has got me back into reading. Barnes & Noble always has something interesting for me to read.

I like that this Barnes&Noble is very clean, the bathrooms are exceptionally and clean. The employees are always patient, kind, and very helpful even though the store can be busy.The Starbucks inside (which is not *really* a Starbucks, they just sell Starbucks products, so if you have a gift card, it will not be accepted) is awesome. The baristas are happy as can be, considering theyre constantly dealing with some annoying customers. And they are patient if you should happen to have a specific drink you want made of your own concoction.All in all, a really awesome Barnes&Noble considering its location is in Gilroy, CA.

Local Barnes and Nobles with a coffee shop definitely a plus and the usual book sales and events they still have going on. Located in a local plaza and local restaurants and fast food as well in walking distance.

My favorite barista is Amanda she always, always gets my order right! & she is super cheerful & she memorized my order, 🙂 She always go above and beyond! 💚☕

We love this Barnes & Noble, they have a great Record section, toy section action and lots of Harry Potter stuff, the Cafe however wasnt willing to sell me a fresh cookie due to the supposed possible harm of it being to warm ....but they heated an old one in the microwave for me haa, great magazine selection and they even had a couple of John McDougall books !

One of our go to places for gifts for our kids. Pretty good selection of good gifts and of course the book selection is excellent.Friendly staff keeps the checkout line moving.Clean bathrooms.

The store is just as I remember it with the only noticeable difference being a much more limited selection of music and movies.The atmosphere is great...though I detected a bit of disdain from the Starbucks employee. But whatever...

Its quiet, not a lot of people. Sometimes we come here to get drinks or food from Starbucks.

This book store has lots of useful cook books. I used one to make a pie and it turned out great.

So surprised and loving the new look. Also, that they are open for inside shopping. Felt wonderful to browse and look at all they have to offer. Purchased two movies and a much needed book page marker. With S.I.D. getting alot of books read. Great service friendly staff. Hope to see more shoppers with Christmas just around the corner.

Horrible customer service!! Cashier looked me up and down then walked away from the register when I was ready to be rang up. After she walked past me I asked if I could check out she said in just a minute lol it wasn’t even busy I so I waited a waited a while. Once she traveled back around no thank you for waiting nothing just handed me receipt.

The customer service was great.Unfortunately they dont have the magazine I was looking for.

I wish that we had a Barnes & Noble near our home! Since we dont, this one in Gilroy is always our rest stop when we are returning from San Francisco or San Jose.We both always have a lot of pent-up book buying energy and we probably spend too much. My husband always comes home with a stack of computer technology books, and I always add some new cookbooks to my collection. This time it was Valeries Home Cooking!I know that we could buy our books from B&N online, but it just isnt the same as spending time browsing through our favorite aisles in the bookstore.

They were closing and I explained to the manager I wanted to just pick up a book for my sister (about the Beatles) so she let me in and was shown where the book was. Scored! I shipped the book to my sister and she happy. Made my day.

Amazing place to shop for books, I wish it was easier to order books in store, they dont have a lot of what I am looking for. Sadly they also arent available for ship to store orders. I still give them five full stars because staff is very friendly and professional. And its understandable you cant have every book available.

I didnt find what I was looking for but the associates were pleasant and the store was clean and everything was displayed nicely.

I still love the feel of a book in my hands over a Kindle or other e-reader. This place always has the best service and a vast selection of books. Staff are knowledgeable and eager to assist. I even found a funeral guest book here the last time I came. Not exactly the most common item, but the help desk associate knew exactly where to look! Lovely cafe in site with coffees and teas and wonderful pastries. Come in, youll lose a bit of time to a simpler time!

Stopped in while I was waiting for Famous Daves to open for lunch. This is a fully stocked Barnes and Noble and I was able to find a couple interesting cookbooks I had not seen anywhere else. I also stumbled across a rarely seen California Field Guide that they had in stock. Great place to go if your in need or something to read.

This store is fairly large and has a great selection of books for all ages and tastes. They have a pretty good Music and toy select as well.

This is one of my favorite places to be. Always clean always feel with so many options and selections and have a Starbucks with wonderful customer service. Be individuals that work there are extremely helpful and to provide excellent customer service

Last of the big box bookstores. Its great to just browse the stacks, and you cant get that experience online. Small but good vinyl record section too.

Nice bookstore with a lot of fun stuff for kids learning. Although I couldnt find elaborate selection on Information Technology / Computer Networking etc. But it was good to see traditional style of a nice bookstore after every day digital stuff. There is a lot of parking space. Place is not too busy.

I love books in general. They have a good selection considering books in that so popular anymore. I like their discount cookbooks and health books. I frequent their Cafe for cookies and coffee its a Starbucks cafe. The times I went wasnt really crowded and I was able to sit down and browse through my selection of books. As a member I had Diamond a discount coupon in addition to my 10% off so I received 20% off my order. I like the ability to look around and buy books.

Completely racist!!!!!!! Do not come here Melissa the store manager is a racist. If you are of color you will get no welcome, hi, or hello from her! I went in with a $20 gift card that was gifted to my son for his birthday. The cashier inputted the PIN number wrong more then 3x and got our gift card blocked! She then calls over the manager, the manager looks us up and down and says that’s because there’s no money on here. Makes us look completely awful in front of everyone as if we are trying to scam them or use a fraudulent card. I begin to tell her well we’ve never used it and it was a gift and she replied with well I don’t know what to tell ya, then walks away. Then I call customer service and come to find out it was their error not ours!!!! When I go back in and tell them they don’t even care and say well okay I’m sorry. Didn’t ask to refund me and do the switch or anything! Is this the kind of manager you have working for you? I’m disgusted!!!!!!!

I hope this store never closes in this post-Amazon world. Theres so much stuff to choose from and so many places to just sit down and read. The little cafe is nice and a cool retreat on a hot summers day. Im also really liking the updated toy section where the music and DVDs used to be. Theres a great selection of merch for kids, teens, and adult geeks like myself.

Always love it here, and so does my son.. he gets his hot chocolate and stuffed pizza pretzel, we relax then head into the kids section that has reading areas and stage... then go to my area. Love it. Great selection too.

Its nice to still have a bookstore that you can browse through. They even happily took a return with zero hassle and I did not even have the receipt with me. Could have a bigger tech section.

With no bookstore in my hometown, this is the closest first run bookstore in the area. They have a good selection of fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, and ya books. The company is in financial trouble and that is apparent in the products available in store. They sell more than books. A wide variety of book tie ins and toys are also on offer. The cafe has a nice selection of goodies. Ample parking and in a very busy outdoor shopping center.

Its very good, the thing is not all books that you see online can be found here ive been disappointed once or twice but if you order online your more likely to find what you need

I was looking at upgrading to the newest nook glow. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. I didnt buy the book right then, but came back that same day to make the purchase. Kudos!

A regular stop whenever we go to Gilroy. My teenage daughter could spend hours here if we let her. This location has the typical selection of books, magazines, music, and gifts. Its clean and everything seems to be kept organized.
