Walked in at almost closing time. The gentle man that helped us was super helpful. The cashier was not friendly. Seemed rather annoyed. So don’t walk in so close to closing time.

I stopped at Ace Hardware for an obscure electrical adaptor, which they didnt have, but they had several other goodies I couldnt resist. I love Ace because they have a great inventory and knowledgeable employees, good parking, and you dont have to walk a mile to find what you need. All good reasons you should stop here, too.

Yes they have a lot of stuff and is super convenient for those living in the area. I used to love this store but not any more. In the height of the latest wave of the pandemic, with the Delta variant spreading like crazy, none of the store staff are wearing PPE. And as busy as the place is on the weekends, its a covid hot spot for sure.Stay away, stay far away.

They must have made the mistake of hiring a new paint dept manager recently which hasn’t served their reputation well. I’ve ordered paint for pickup several times here, 3x during the pandemic alone when doing so was especially appreciated but also a common offering by the larger paint and hardware providers. This past week when I tried to do so again, after putting me on hold for several minutes, the paint department manager finally picked up and, quite rudely told me he wouldn’t mix paint unless I’m in the store and that they’ve never done that. When I told him that location had done so for me several times, recently, he responded ‘yeah we don’t do that and never have.’ Again. As if I was lying. And as if double checking with anyone who worked there was an impossibility and an inconvenience outside the scope of his role in the paint department.

When i arrived at westlake i was treated like a celebrity even by the cashiers. One of the gaurds almost escorted me sll the way. Oh and i just ate up all the attention. Whaoh oh by oh boy. I was looking for nails since i needed to get some nailed in my bedroom. Yeah had some fun you know

Has parts bins for screws and bolts! This is something not found at the big chains. Their service is prompt and helpful.

This retail chain needs to join the modern day technology. If you have a Westlake card that is scanned when you purchase items, then why doesnt it show that you have a Reward available to use, instead of requiring you to show a paper coupon that supposedly was sent in the mail? I find this extremely frustrating when I know I have a reward that has not been used and has not expired! Please get rid of paper coupons & give your customers store cards that can show your Rewards on them!

A few places are sold out of lawn bags, called Ace and they had. While there i was carrying a package of 25 lawn bags and a rake, an employee came by and asked if he could carry up to checkout area for me. I was still looking for gloves, so helped me out. Excellent customer service with him and cashier both.

I didnt realize they didnt carry Craftsman...but I love this store..I have a Craftsman weedeater...went to Lowes..but I love to shop Ace.

Everyone was helpful. Went there just for flux brushes. I was asked as soon as I hit the plumbing aisle of I needed help. Sure enough. Could not find the brushes. My helper laughed when I told him what I was looking for and said follow me. We went to a lock up section. I laughed and asked if people were stealing these 39 cent items. He said no. We just ran out of room on the hooks. We laughed. Good folks.

So I placed an online order for an item that showed in stock at the closest store. After about 30minutes my order was cancelled because they were out of stock I guess. So I placed an additional 4 more orders at four different stores, all showing they had the item in stock. Everyone of the orders were cancelled because they didnt have it. One order was never even cancelled or updated so after calling the store myself and confirmed they didnt have it I had to cancel the order later that night cuz my order stilled showed processing. Online chat with a customer service agent didnt help at all and they were not willing to help me in anyway other then say they were sorry for the inconvenience. I placed an order with Menards who were out of stock as well but let me place the order and gave me a pick up date a few days later and for a MUCH MUCH cheaper price. Probably will never shop Westlake again unless I am in dire need of something that I need immediately that none of the other home improvement stores have.

I bought a weed eater for 139.00. I dont have the patients to shop around to get the best deal but this one gets the job done.

In and out in five minutes. Staff was very helpful and directed me to exactly what I needed. Chose to go here over larger hardware stores for the convenience and customer service and was not disappointed.

Wow, best Ace hardware Ive been to. I had a unique plumbing situation and Sam really helped me out. He helped me modify and assemble a part on a fixture and saved the day. Never would have dreamed of receiving such over the top service. Highly recommend this store. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful and they have way more inventory than other Ace stores Ive been to.

The staff is friendly and try to be helpful, sometimes to much. Im not a diyer, I have been in home repair and remodeling and heating and cooling for almost 30 yrs. So I usually just need help finding something in the store.

I like browsing in the store especially at the end of summer to get excellent price cuts on decorative outdoor art and lighting. Lots of items that you cant find anywhere else are available at Westlake. Good equipment for outdoor grilling and a nice variety of lawn and garden supplies and equipment. Its so much easier to navigate than Lowes and Home Depot. Most of the staff are knowledgeable in each departments. However, if the store is busy, it can be hard to find someone to help. Sometimes, I just find a worker who is helping someone else. I just hang out until theyre finished, and I can ask my question. Everyone is always quite nice at Westlake.

Best place other than a dedicated BBQ store for grilling and smoking supplies.

Truly the place with the helpful hardware folk. I went in looking for a tool attachment that may not even exist but the helpers up there showed me all the options they had that fitted the description I gave. None were exactly what I was expecting so they even suggested a couple other places that might have it. They didnt pressure me into getting something that was less than perfect.

I was looking for a very specific product. The cashier knew exactly where it was in the store. I went to five stores before them to find it without luck.

Rude employees and no help

This is usually my go to spot for picking up what I need for my new home project purchases but lately the inventory levels have suffered! Ive checked several times for treager 575 grease tray liners and they continuously dont have them in stock! The one time I made contact with an associate they blame it on the rona but I hate walking into the big box home improvement stores since Ace True Value is a treager dealer but the big box stores are not the closest dealer is liberty I refuse to drive to liberty and north oak true value doesnt have the tray liners. The customer service at ace is 1000% better than the big box stores as well!

Great selection of BBQ utensils, products, rubs, novelty items and gifts. Not to mention they have every make of Grill and smoker. I also use their keymaker quite often. They have good deals on patio furniture, and we always get our fresh Christmas trees here. This is a much better store for running in to get something than a superstore.

Normally this place has good service but the person working where you get glass from & cut down to size was not very professional. First person out of the whole store Ive ever seen act this way. He was talking to another employee about a customer and what some people expect with lawn mower issues. Where other customers could hear. Everyone else there seem to be pretty much okay And like I said in the past Theyve been wonderful. The guy that cut down the window to size did not cut it down to the specs that was asked. Luckily my brother was able to finally get it to work but it was a tight fit.

Always like to stop here. Great customer service, and alot of times, I can get what I need here, instead of the big box stores. Plus Ive always been partial to Ace Hardware. That was my 1st job in high school.

I gave 5 stars because I always have a great experience, but this time the cashier was more interested in her co-worker conversation and when she went on break than ringing up my order correctly.

This is a great local hardware store and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. This is the place you want to go to be helped rather than a place like Lowes or Home Depot where you will be ignored while wandering around trying to find what you need. At Westlake Ace Hardware the staff will genuinely try to help you. I called one day to ask if they had certain canning lids and rings in stock. I was transferred immediately back to the correct department where a woman went and verified that they had what I needed. Then she offered to leave it at the register for me for easy checkout. Then, once I got to the store and easily checked out with my canning lids that had been brought up front, they were demonstating their grills and smokers so I got free samples of smoked chicken wings. I will give my business to this small store with employees who go above and beyond rather than big box stores that dont care.

I stopped by Westlake on Antioch Rd this afternoon to get paint for a small table I purchased. The employee that helped me was Spencer. My goodness, he went out of his way to assist me. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. He answered my questions, made suggestions and explained directions clearly. He is truly an asset to the store. Thank you Spencer!

Everyone in here is cheerful and helpful. They gave my dog 2 treats. Great service. Got my chainsaw sharpened and it took 10 minutes.

On upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely smile and helped us walk through the store to get our 4 to 5 items, she was very friendly and helpful, her name is Emily E. I asked her if I could tip her, she politely declined and said o could fill out this survey. And also she opened another lane and checked us out. And even recommend we fill out a rewards card, which we did. I want her to know we appreciated her kindness! THANK YOU EMILY E.

Over priced but they always have the hardware that houses in my neighborhood have installed in them. So guess they can overcharge for that. If the prices were competitive with other stores like Home Depot they would be. Not sure about addition of pet supplies but not currently in need of that right now.

Best place and price to get fire wood

A little disorganized as the merchandising was switching from fall to Christmas. I love going into this store rather than the huge hardware stores since you can easily get to what you need and then get out. Great customer rewards program. Sends out advertising minimally.

Very friendly employees. When they ask if you need any help finding anything, they literally will help you look genuinely. With a real smile and real consideration. Not like some places where they act like programed robots! Also a great place if your not so comfortable with big crowds and lots of people.

They had what I wanted and it was on sale. There was no wait for check out and there were helpful people available to answer questions. Home town feel and not a big box store.. sometimes thats all you want.
