Nice place, friendly staff, and decent variety of product at a good price.Great system for singles, walked in and used their computers to make a cart and they pulled them for me almost immediately. Definitely recommend.

If you’re a girl who doesn’t mind feeling unwelcome/unsafe, this is the place for you! Tried it as a teenager when it was 1 early shop and it was super misogynistic and awful (the owner is the actual worst). Tried again when it was 2 stores. More space, same experience. I’d recommend literally anything besides going here ;)

Been here for months now. I have also spend hundreds here. The discord mod constantly posts about his personal life and situations (no home, family health, what hes eating) in the yugioh discord which is inappropriate. I posted a sarcastic joke about a deck I dont like, that mentioned no names or foul language. Without warning, they decided to ban me outright. I emailed them a week ago and never got a response. It is honestly childish and unprofessional coming from 8 years of retail experience and 5 of them being managerial. Apparently you just cant make a joke with them without being barred for life.

Outstanding, professional customer service. Card selection is top notch. Used to love to play commander on the weekends when it was filled with people. Hopefully before the world ends we can go back to that time!

Amazing store with friendly staff! I brought in a few hundred YuGiOh cards that I was looking to swap for some newer Pokemon cards. Not only did the staff price out each card individually and very fairly but also spent time until closing with me going over the cards and which I was going to purchase for my new Pokemon set. Just moving to NJ this was a very pleasant surprise and when tournaments start back up ill be going here. #1 stop in NJ for sealed products and especially single cards

I was here visiting family from CA and this shop was recommended to me by The Comic Com Podcast and it didn’t disappoint! Cool shop with a friendly staff! Walked out very pleased with the customer service and some great books. They had a good amount of Bronze and silver age back issues.

Friendly staff, but when I purchased some cards at close to $90 each (for 3), I later on that night I saw the same card at $60 each on a very popular trading card game site. I emailed the store for a response, but I have not received any yet. It has been two weeks.

Such an amazing place. The staff are very helpful and informative on any subject regarding the stores merchandise. Such a great variety of products too with great prices! The place just has that friendly atmosphere where you feel comfortable! It is very hard to not walk out of there without purchasing anything haha. Did I mention they have game night on Thursday! He are some of the products Ive purchased from the store, even the container that holds the paint, brushes etc. Very impressed with everything, the quality was over the top.

They have a wonderful assortment of games, however mostly the generic ones that every shop carries. Id love to see more variety of games. The game shop I tend to frequent has an abundance of wonderful games that are a joy in trying out. Whenever I ask if they have a game Im looking for here they tend not to have it but say they could order it in for me. The notion is greatly appreciated and wonderful customer service, however I could order it myself for cheaper online. I must say however that if you are into magic the gathering, this is the place for you. They have so much in terms of catering to the magic players and if you need something you should definitely go here. In the end I strongly recommend this place if you are a magic player and would suggest you check out here first for a boardgame if youre local or looking for popular/regular bakeshop games, but you might have to end up buying the game youre looking for online or at another shop.

A little DC heavy from The Times that Ive been there and as a Marvel fan of course Im a little partial to the comics I like haha. However this story is where you go if you want quality. I have been to quite a good amount of comic book stores and you will find some pretty banged up material. I feel like even the comics on the less expensive side here are very well taken care of and that the owner and employees truly care about the product. I would highly recommend this door to any comic book enthusiasts.

The Comic Book Store in Glassboro is the best around. They have a great staff that always helps to find what youre looking for, or to teach you the different games played there. The crowd that hangs out there is pretty relaxed for the most part too. There are the super competitive people, who laugh at anyone not completely devoted to living in their mothers basements to devote themselves to magic, but its mostly a great crowd.

Went to sold my collection of MTG cards and the employees were very nice and helpful! They clearly explained how much they would buy the cards for and did it very fast. I believe the price was very reasonable and the service was great!

This shop is quite easily a 55 min plus drive from my home and longer from where I work. I drive past multiple shops similar to this one along the way and the thought of stopping somewhere else just wont do. The staff is friendly and professional, patrons are passionate and attentive to the community of the shop, and the products are well stocked. The main reason to be at The Comic Book Store is simply because they understand the value of their customer at ALL times!If you have any interest in gaming or comics, do yourself a favor and stop in and just meet the staff and the loyal customer base!

This is an update after 3 years..It seems certain things havent changed. I havent been back since one of their workers got ill mannered with me over not giving my order a once over Apparently i made them angry because I couldnt pay for the order I placed and they had to put the cards back. Youd think customers first and maybe they were just busy and having a bad day since the one employee had to bother his partner to put the cards back. It doesnt matter though, because Im not sure Ill ever go back. Also the people that go in there, some are no fun to deal with. They have a decent but slim online selection, and their prices are a bit high and if you sell them something, youll probably be disappointed in what you get. Its been the same story for years though and their clientele only seems to grow, so good for them. Its got good priced deckboxes and sleeves. A decent in store selection of packs. Other than that nothing special at all..Still holds true that they are one of the only places in the area, so I guess if you want that type of merchandise, then theyre your only real choice locally. Unless you wanna go to Egg Harbor. Sucks..but it is what it is. Oh and keep in mind, over the years Ive spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars here, so it wasnt a one time review.

This is my go to comic store, its clean, well lit, and well stocked. Has so much more then just comics, board games, card games, general nerd goodies. They have amazing sales and tournaments!

Spacious store with friendly, welcoming staff. After not buying comics for about 20 years, I stopped in with my daughters and wasnt sure where to start. The staff pointed us in the right direction and - while I wish they had more of a selection / titles for young kids - we were able to find a few they liked and they seem to be the only place in the area that carries Lumber Janes. Will be stopping back on a regular basis for new issues.

I used to come by all the time when I lived in Mays Landing. Bought all my favorite uncanny X-Men, Tales from the Crypt and Spawn issues. They have a great selection of 80s comics and enough DC and Marvel merch for you to go home happy!

I have been going to The Comic Store for years. They have an abundant inventory both in comics and games. The store is well kept, organized, and has a professional yet friendly atmosphere. The employees there are knowledgeable about both literature and games when asked for suggestions for various styles and age groups.

As far as I am concerned this is the ONLY comic book and gaming store in south jersey. Every other place closes shop within a couple of years but the CBS is still going strong. This is bc the owner Alex cares about comic books, games, and most importantly his customers. The environment is friendly and helpful, inclusive of everyone, and they carry literally pretty much everything: MTG singles (yes including alphabetized common and uncommons!) and boxes, graded comics, new issues, back issues, D&D, graphic novels, board games. EVERYTHING. You wont disappointed if you visit this store.
