Since i bought this van nothing but trouble in and out of service and whats not cover through warranty had to cover cost out of pocket on top of this high payment. very disappointed right now any more issues just going to take van back cant afford it to constantly fix and pay high monthly payments. but josh service manager a true professional and very helpful.

I purchased my car through JD Byrider in 2014. I paid my car off in 2017. We went back and further about my title they sent it and it was “lost in the mail” or they sent it and it was sent back and you have to come get it. I go to get it and it’s “lost” no one can find it. I receive a call two years later because their moving and the lady says she’s going to put it in the mail. I just recently open the envelope and it’s 5 sheets of paper none of which are a title!! I call to see if maybe they didn’t send it or maybe they forgot to put it in! I’ve called 5x, got the run around went to the State and they need a purchase letter. I want to know what happened and I’m told by their finance manager that “he’s not about to discuss something with me that happened 2-3 years ago”. Truly disappointing that you spend your hard earned money and you NEVER can get a honest answer. Since the day I stepped foot on their facility I have regretted it! I started out with a 2005 Cadillac CTS that broke down after 6 months of having it and had to exchange it for this Ford Fusion that they wouldn’t even provide the title for. Do not waste your time or sanity if you don’t have too. This place should be a LAST RESORT!!!

I just purchased a vehicle from jd byrider in Glendale heights 2012 Dodge Journey going on about the third week of having the car the next day it was going back due to over heating for that fixed next week over heating again get that fixed next week over heating now it needs a motor... I had just recommend about for people to go to them called them all back and told them do not do it you going to be screwed over I’m so disappointed.

Ok so Rich was good. He stayed in contact with me up until the day I was ready to come in. The reason I am giving this location 2stars is because I know how things are supposed to go when you get a car wether new or used.When you sign documents with byrider you get copies of all the paperwork except the POA forms(understandable) but youre also supposed to get a copy of ANY forms where you give someone permission to take money every month automatically (auto pay) I found out that supposedly I signed one of those. AFTER I CLEARLY SAID I DO NOT WANT AUTO PAY. I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE CUSOTMERS WHO HAD THAT AS A STIPULATION. I had a trade in vehicle(one that was once owned by byrider and only put 19,000miles on it in 2yrs.)On top of me being bamboozled into supposedly signing(although someone couldve easily signed my name it is easy to do) and I find out by looking at my bank account that my money was taken out of my account. Also, I provided insurance for my vehicle FULL COVERAGE before I left amd insurance was added to my account. (Luckily I noticed before I was charged for it) now the last thing.... I had to sign 4 POAs for the trade in and the new car.... how were 2of them lost? And I had to take time out of my day get my kids packed into the car for a 2.5hour round trip. Apologizing doesnt make things better. It doesnt change what was done. Unfortunately Ill be dealing with this location for then couple of years. But this is my truth if youre mad then be mad at yourselves. My act manager was told to do away with the auto pay and she claimed she took off my account well see soon. Because the form is still in my file.

So my husband and I purchased a car thru this dealership “glendale heights” location. Been going here ever since we got our GMC BACK IN MARCH for service.. and week and half ago, went for an oil change and night time “coincidence” that my car broke down? which when i popped the hood all the oil was leaking and it was all over the engine (mmm wonder who’s fault was that after i just had it oil change in the morning) and what’s the problem - ENGINE. I mean I get it it’s used car BUT doesn’t it supposed to be the sellers responsibility that the car engine and any thing else that make the car run be perfectly fine? I mean - it’s human beings that drive those used cars and not robotic machines.But anyways, Sept 28th Monday - we took our GMC for service and let me tell you, WE WERE THE ONES that called to see the status of our vehicle., so we called service Sept 30th Wednesday and we were told that our vehicle needed to be send out due to the fact that it was engine problem.. and that it’ll take about 7-10 business days until we can get our vehicle ready.. It’s been 5 days and now we called service to see what’s the status of our vehicle and They told us THAT THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN PICK UP YET AND MORE LIKELY THEY ARE COMING TODAY.. I MEAN ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? why do the customer has to call and then update us when we call? isn’t that suppose to be you guys’ responsibilities to keep us in the loop? and when we asked for another alternative of possibly exchanging the vehicle to something since it was engine issues and it wasn’t our fault WE WERE STILL GIVEN AN ATTITUDE?? wat the F is that??? is this how you guys do with customer service?? and when we asked for that alternative they said they don’t do exchange car Which by the way a lie since THERE WAS ANOTHER REVIEW THAT THAT PERSON’S vehicle also broke down 6 month after purchasing it AND YES I WILL ATTACHED THE REVIEW IN HERE.. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND NOW WE ARE TOLD ANOTHER 7/10days for our vehicle to get done.. which NOPE THE CAR HASNT BEEN PICK UP WHEN WE CALLED 2nd time before they close (as they state it was gonna get pick up today)....And to top it off, when you asked if u can take your car to any service shop they would respond you with “go ahead that will void you warranty agreements”... i mean what kind of BS is that? so I should just be happy then that my car will be sitting there for a month and I have to worry bout paying rental car coz the supposedly “vendor” that was suppose to pick up our vehicle hasn’t done their part of picking up our car? and to top it off Pay for car note meanwhile I don’t even have the car? and be told that if i missed one payment then that default our loan.. meaning to say they can get the car back and that’s the end of it..,?? I’m sure that’s not what we were told when we signed the papers back March 17 of this year. Rudeness that you guys give to the people that’s keeping you guys’ business going doesn’t cut it.. We give you guys trust and this is how you guys treat the customers ??? and apology doesn’t even make things okay better.. Hope you guys see you guys’ fault at the end of the day.... Karma is a b*tch.For the other reviewers that gave them 5-stars, good for you guys!! but just wait till something happens to the car you purchased and see where those “helpfulness” and “good salesperson” going to be at..

Not sure if it was the representative I had (Sarah) at the Glendale Heights location or if these workers have no knowledge on vehicles. Didnt receive any help on vehicle selection and after I drove the vehicle Sarah claimed my headlight was out and sent it to the mechanic. The vehicle drives different compared to my test drive. I dont know if I made the right choice going here to purchase a used vehicle. My experience sucked.

I submitted a partial application/inquiry online and was contacted by Rich that evening. He was straight and to the point with no fluff. He told me the banks were closing and that he would work on my app first thing the following morning. As stated I was contact that following morning. I then received a phone call to finish my app. I had been turned down so many times, even from another dealership of the same that I honestly wasn’t prepared for anything other than a let down. He then got on the phone and spoke to me asking if I could come in that day. I told him that if a down payment of any sort would be required that it would have to wait until that Friday as I was not able to put anything down at that time. He told me that he could get me a vehicle without paying anything today and he kept his word. He offered to send an Uber for me to pick me up and bring me in which was a very nice gesture. Even the “other guys” don’t offer that. Upon arrival he greeted me at the door and we got to work. This was the most painless car buying experience I’ve ever had. We went to the lot, I chose a car, test drove it, pulled it up front and he got right to work on the numbers.came back with the figures, I agreed on them as they were lower than the previous car note I had and we agreed on a deal! I was in and out within an hour and a half or so, if that!! No haggling, false hope, experience! I drove away with a nice car and I couldn’t be more happy! I’ve been turned down for the last three years so to drive away with a vehicle I didn’t feel forced to get was an amazing feeling!! Thank you Richard!!!

So I applied for a car loan with them, theres a girl named Sarah that works there and does verifications. She calls my job to inquire if I work there, a co worker responds that he cant give out that information. Her response to him was I guess hes f*****d! Unbelievable!!!
If you fall on hard times like hardship due to COVID-19 they won’t care. There’s no way I should of been sick fighting covid and worried my car being taken because I can’t work. There’s no reason to worry about unemployment while SICK! I’ve paid my car note on time for 2yrs now and when I got sick they didn’t give af although the world clearly sees how covid affected many peoples lives I was told the only way they could help is if I had showed proof I filed for unemployment.
I try to be positive and refer people but I cant possibly do so. Each experience gets worse. Third time in for brake related issues that were never fully resolved. Again I took my vehicle to another repair shop and it was called a death trap. Last repair device admitted to putting faulty or defective rotors on my vehicle but yet still wanted to charge me $123.00 for repairs. Then today the ride gentlemen in back just kept saying this is $50 & kept reminding me that Im not getting my car back same day which Im sure was due to a previous complaint about my car being kept several days. Then I need all new brakes all of the sudden which Im shocked was not caught the last 2 times. Was told price for all new brakes would be $240 before labor & over 300 after. When I asked how much for just the back brakes I was told 140 for parts & with labor back up to 300. Just a RIP off because the actual Chevy dealer will do them all for less and you use refurbished parts. Just a way to recoup money on the lackluster vehicles that are being sold. Shame on you for placing peoples lives in danger and never fixing the cars so people come back for repairs. May your karma be so extreme you cant sleep at night!

Dont like doing business with them . They are not very honesty or up frontPart 2 . Pay my note on time, Never ask for anything. but my car is in need of service .they replaced the motor but didnt change the spark plugs. Air conditioning not work. Sway bar crack but it wasnt cracked when I first bought in there now they say I need a motor mount. Remember that that change a motor mount when I forgot the car so it seem like Im getting the runaround.call and ask to speak to the general manager, still have got no response Ill call back Ill get real frustrated still pay my car payment on time all I ask is for this car and Ill make the payment on the back end but not my fault all that stuff should have been fix it was not my f

Customer service here is extremely horrible. I had to block them from my bank account. These people will take what ever they want once you give them your card info. BEWARE. Constantly check your bank statements if they have your card information!!!!THEY ALSO WILL LIE AND SAY THEY GAVE YOU A REFUND EVEN IF YOUR BANK NEVER RECEIVED THAT REFUND!!! DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFORMATION!!!!

So RICH the salesman. Says hes helping me out has me drive the hour and 45 miniutes to “forget” to tell me i need full coverage. Now mind you i wasnt born yesterday i already knew i needed full coverage. But i clarified to him. I have no money until pay day. He says fine we got it all taken car of blah blah blah. Then tries having me sign paper work then we will call insurance company again after you sign everything. Hell no your crazy you wasted my time your time. And lost out on a sale. Good quality vehicles at this location. Just horrible communication skills.

Very nice car place. They really work with you if you have nothing at the moment. I just had a chapter 7 done and really was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get a car with no money down. Rich is the one to see he’s a great salesman he is quick and efficient. Considering how long the process is he did everything he could to shorten it. Also on the phone he said that I could get a car and I did . I like this place a lot .
I dropped off my car for service because it was shaking. The super nice girl at the service shop desk took my info and told me she would call me when my car was done. Hours went by and I decided to call the shop to check on my car. The same girl answer and I believe her name is Jamie said they had to do something else because my car needed some parts and they had to send my car to a Ford dealer to get fixed. She was so nice and explained everything to me. I told her I was having hard time getting to work and stuff and she told me she would try to get my car as soon as possible. She called me Friday to let me know my car was all done, she said what was done to it and she was just amazing :)
