I have been using this location for years. The staff is always friendly and helpful and quick to answer all my questions. They also do an excellent job maintaining the building and keeping it clean. A big shout out to Johnny & Jammie for helping me close out my unit. I have never had any issues with them or my unit. I highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

This location is always clean and maintained well. I recently moved into a smaller unit on a different floor and Johnny provided excellent customer service with the move out process. Highly recommend this location if you need to store long term!

Ive had a unit at this PS facility since 2014 and and the time finally came for me to upgrade to a larger size. The property Manager, Janet, made my unit transfer a BREEZE and went the extra mile to help me out. Id definitely recommend this property to others looking for a clean and friendly facility.

Clean place like every other one out there. But as the others do, the prices go through the roof in short time. I started with a 5x10 unit for $49/mo. In less than 1 year it steadily went up to $74/mo.. Over a 60% increase in 10 months. Absolutely unacceptable.When the rates outpace inflation by 20X, thats just plain greed. Obviously they dont care that Covid is screwing up everything, and they are taking full advantage of everyone. Im out.

Ive been with this public storage for a year now, and have been very satisfied with the customer service, as well as managing/paying for a unit simple and easy. A very nice woman named Jan helped us out recently when I wanted to change units. Made me at ease and helped me out with all my questions.

Moved out last week. My stuff came out the same as it went in! Great place to store your stuff. Take advantage of the mattress covers! It makes a difference. I only covered my mattress and not the box spring. A bit of dust collected on the box spring but my mattress was not dusty at all.Rented a few months ago. Today I went in with some questions and Jan and a couple of new girls answered my questions and continue to be very pleasant to deal with. Great service and helpful tips. Jan even remembered me from when I rented. Awesome customer service skills and great memory!

I had to come in to talk about my fathers account. His rent rate went up and Jan was extremely helpful again. She answered all of my questions and explained what happened and offered to find a different space to stay within my fathers budget. Amazing service and understanding. Just wanted to give her a shout out again.. It wasnt a one off when she helped me in the beginning. She is really helpful. Jan was a great help to me. My father had rented a storage space and was then in the hospital. I had no idea what to do and Jan helped me get a payment in asap to avoid a fee. I have power of attorney for my dad since he is not able to get out and do things. She understood and helped answer some questions I had about his rental. I would highly recommend this facility especially for the customer service. She was so helpful and understanding and patient. She explained the policies so I could understand them and I had every question answered before I left.

I was able to get a great rate by reserving a spot online. The space is very clean and was perfect for my needs.However, beware that you must purchase a lock from them for $19.99 they will not let you use you own. You need insurance, so if your homeowners policy covers it be sure to bring it with you otherwise they make you sign up for Public Storage’s policy, and you have to deal with canceling it.During your registration policy, they ask their customers to write them a google review while they wait, which probably accounts for a lot of the 5 star reviews!UPDATE: They have doubled my rate in the year since I started renting my storage unit. They give you a months notice before upping the price, but no reasoning for the increase. I called to ask and see if they could lessen the increase, they had no explanation and just said my request was denied. Theyll get you in the door with a great price, but it wont last very long.

Got a rate increase. Jan was able to put in a request to have it waived and it was approved for 6 months! Thanks for the help! Jan is always willing to listen and help when available. Jan helped me downsize my space to save money. She really listens and tries to help. Great service!

Josh was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and courteous, on the phone and then in-person as well. I liked that he was fine with showing me multiple units, some of different sizes but even the same sizes on different floors when I asked him to! He explained why a unit was shaped differently (if it was not your standard cube/rectangular shape), and answered all my questions (i.e. about the climate control temperature of the indoor storage facility). Josh even patiently waited for me to take pics of all the boxes & packing products even though it went way passed closing time, and was happy to help me pick the perfect boxes for my specialty items! Picked this place b/c of all of the 5 star reviews and when I went in, I saw exactly why. Arielle was very helpful and the facility was clean. Glad our move in was an easy process.

This is a very clean places smells clean also. Well taken care of. Temperature controlled and not set to high or to low. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you have everything taken care of and make sure you feel welcomed.

I found myself needing extra storage for the first time in my life in-between selling the house having things painted, long story short I just needed extra space. So I drive by this new public storage facility daily and decided to give it a try, Janet and Josh were both very helpful they made it painless and hassle free they showed me the space which was temperature controlled and extremely clean. The entire facility has more cameras than the White House it seems, the price was more than fair. Id give it a try if you find yourself needing extra room for anything. They walk you through the process which is quick and easy and as I said the people who I dealt with today Josh and Janet were extremely friendly I was in and out quickly give them a try if you need their services!

But the nicest in the beginning bc they want your money. Youll see the greed through price hikes and terrible attitudes later. Not even worth a half star. Bathroom is never available. Lazy employees. The location is new, kept spotless clean, well-lit for entering before & after hours; and during hours carts are always available for storage customers moving things in/out! Hands-down, the best experience Ive ever had for ~ 16 months when we stored belongings at a Public Storage location! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!

Great Staff! I got my unit at a good price. The only small issue i had was that I paid extra to have a first floor unit (and the convenience of not having to use the elevator to move all of my stuff) however they got away with putting my unit on the second floor anyways because the location is on a hill so technically the first floor and the second floor were both considered a first floor unit.

Was always greeted by my name especially by Laura. Public storage must hire more people like Laura who always greet their customers with a smile, answer all questions and offer great service. I would highly recommend this facility to my family and friends.Laura keep up the good work.....

Ive got to start by saying great customer service. Even though I came in for only a few boxes, they treated me as if I was a customer for years. Especially Raven, who helped me immediately and had a terrific attitude. I would recommend going to this public storage for good quality storage supplies.

Made a payment, Arielle was very friendly and timely and funny. Joshua greeted me and was very helpful answering questions about moving spaces.

I was referred by my boyfriend for a storage unit at this location and I signed up for a unit online. They were running a promotion for new customers, $1 first month plus admin fee of $24. They claimed that because I was an emergency contact for my boyfriend, they couldn’t honor the promotion. They charged me $81 for the unit, $24 for the admin fee, and $11 for insurance ($116 total). My boyfriend contacted them to fix the $81 charge but they refused to do so stating he and I shared an address so they couldnt honor the promotion and the charge was valid. I can see their reasoning but Im still a new customer; his unit has nothing to do with mine and my stuff. If that was the reason behind not getting the new promo rate, why lie to me about the emergency contact thing? That is shady. He then asked for a full refund to take my business elsewhere and they said they couldn’t refund any of my money because they don’t issue refunds. Because their office wouldve been closed by the time I could get there, I had to go in the next day to close out my account. I have contacted the district manager and hope to hear back soon. This whole situation was unfortunate because Jan was very friendly initially. I did not appreciate being lied to and I am glad that they will not get a penny more. I dont understand how there are so many glowing reviews on Google for this place. Yelp has some pretty negative ones. I have a new storage unit at Storage Mart in Elgin and I could not be happier.

The first contact, the first day when I signed the agreement in that office was Matt, the leasing agent .He was really nice and I think hes the best in this office, very polite and respectful . One thing didnt understand that many times when I was asking him a question the girl at the other desk was answering without excuse for the interruption. Few days after, when I brought the first two boxes I asked the ladies in the office to use the cart for only 5 minutes because my two boxes were heavy One of them sitting at the same desk where Matt was seating last time, so rude answered that she couldnt give me the cart because they had to leave in 15 minutes. I told her that I had only two boxes to move and was not going to take longer than 5 minutes . She denied and I had to carry by hand those 2 boxes up to the third floor.I m an old lady and it was so hard for me to carry those heavy boxes . I work all day and I cant move my stuff before 5 o clock. I drove 15 miles away to make it there before 6. Its my first time to rent a storage space and as the first time I got that bad experience. My storage inside was all dusty and uncleaned .I dont really recommend that place and very soon Ill move somewhere else .

I had a very pleasant experience with the new Public Storage facility located in Glendale Heights, IL. The manager (Laura) was very helpful and courteous, she made the experience of moving less than aggrevating.The new facility is very nice, it appears Public Storage thought of many possibilities with regards to what is made available to the customer pertaining to the Storage of ones personal property.I am currently renting an apartment, however there is some things I want to be assured are protected from landlords and rental complexes that enter your property sometimes when you are not home. Public Storage gives me that comfort level to know my cherish items are protected.Thank You Public Storage

Had an issue with my account here and at a different location. Jan helped me solve it even though I was upset and probably not too nice to start off with. Stellar customer service!I still stand by the amazing customer service but the lights have been going out on the third floor and the doors have been broken for over a month. Not much the girls in the office can do. But they really need to fix stuff if they want to keep increasing rents.

Laura is wonderful! She provided excellent customer service and was extremely helpful! The units are very clean and I was incredibly happy with what I received. Only downside was being called on the phone, email, and Mail felt almost harassing as they were informing me of my payment that was due two weeks later. I dont mind being informed if I miss a payment but there was no reason to keep trying to reach me when I still had 14 days until the due date. Other than that its still a great facility and Laura really helped me out when I needed it.

Laura gave me excellent customer service. Didnt end up getting a unit with them but she helped me find one that was perfect for me. And her sidekick was pretty cool too :-p

We were looking for a better deal than we had at our last storage center and we found it. Laura was great, very willing to work with us in terms of our timing and storage needs. She was very helpful. We ended up with a unit twice the size of where we were and were saving about $30/month - and its closer to home!Update 2020: BEWARE! They will raise your rate at least 10% each year! In the last 6 years since I wrote this review, our rate went from about $85/month to about $155/month. That’s just nuts.

The place was great. Laura was great. She not only did her job she was a cool down to earth gal. If anyone needs storage I recommend this place. Ashley also made me feel like there was teamwork and she helped me a lot. Ashley and laura are the only ones I would deal with and thats my recommendation.
