Places like this are pretty much non existent these days. Jason saved me a couple thousand of dollars and guided me to the right setup even though he could have sold me an overkill setup which would have been useless for my purpose. He spent at least 20 minutes over the phone with me and guided me step by step instead of just ordering what I thought was the best thing according to my forum research. Like I said, good luck finding people like this these days!

Im by no means a Pro at audio, but I so glad I discovered Pro Audio L.A. I found their site while shopping around for the M!ka components. I would recommend Pro Audio L.A. for all skill levels and/or audio gear needs - Jason and Chris were very helpful and will take care of you.I first reached out to them via email, with 5 or 6 questions, and was honestly surprised to receive a detailed and articulate response within a few hours. They took the time to answer every question I had and even offered some additional advice.Even better - after placing my order they reached out immediately to let me know that one item was backordered, but that the rest of the order would ship the next day. Everything arrived promptly and was packaged well.A 5-star experience all around. I would definitely recommend them and will be ordering from them again.I wish more businesses treated customers like this :D

Don’t let the “Pro” in Pro Audio LA make you think they only cater to professionals, and are expensive. I find them to be ideal for beginners (as well as professionals), because they are a small group of guys, each veterans in their own field, so they’re like your very own personal audio coincierge, without the high price associated with those types of services or gear.If you are a hobbyist like me, you’ll be guided properly from the start, never oversold on high priced gear (like I was elsewhere), and will have a plan on how your setup can and will grow. They can also fine tune your existing setup/space and improve upon it incrementally. This was critical regarding my acoustic treatment. Regarding Acoustic Treatment, there really isnt anyone better than Jason, the owner of Pro Audio LA. He really made me feel like I am his most important customer. Just like with all the other guys in the company, he’s an honest guy, very patient, provides an education along the way and won’t rush to sell anything. Other companies told me I needed to spend four times what he said I might need, at most on Acoustic Treatment.Regarding gear, Mash really knows gear, the engineering behind it, and how to get the most out of it, (as well as with what you already have) to a degree I havent found elsewhere. His honesty, wisdom, and so much more made me feel right at home and trust him and Pro Audio LA as a company within minutes. He’s very patient, teaches you the how and why along the way, thus making you appreciate and understand everything much more. This allowed me to make large purchases with confidence and ease and get back to focusing on creating music.In a time where live chat, emails, and such are useful for quick purchases, an initial phone call with these guys will really show you why they’re on another level that larger companies simply cannot match. What they offer that is free, but can’t be bought or found elsewhere is the assurance you are always being told the truth, are paying less than elsewhere and have the best support out here. They are also some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

ProAudioLA builds amazing cables but also if you are Local to Los Angeles they are by far the best people to call for setup and customization if you want to do it right the first time! AMAZING STORE!! Give these guys a try -- theyre in a whole league better than Amazon or Guitar Center. You can actually try before you buy in-store! Jason and Mash have always been fantastic to me. If theres a piece of really expensive gear Im interested in, theyve always sourced it for me and let me try it. Their cables are always on-point, and I really appreciate that they make custom cables in-store. If Ive ever had an issue with monitors or microphones or cables, theyre more than happy for me to bring the issue to them and try to find a solution. Often the source of the issue is far from what I wouldve guessed, but theyre always right! Very solid pro audio store, with a very understanding bunch of lads.

I have ordered cables from them for my home audio system. The took time to explain the pros and cons of the different type of bulk cables they carry. Workmanship on the finished cables was exemplary. They are courteous, professional and honest. Oh, I ended up with Grimm TPR cables and to me they are the most neutral and balanced, through the audio spectrum, cables I have had in my system and better then some high buck cables I have used. Highly recommend this company!

Great people here who take care of customers. Actually gave me advice to send back something I bought without consulting them. Its refreshing to deal with a company that is trustworthy. They earned a repeat customer and I live in Louisiana.Also excellent construction of custom cables which are much cheaper than retail.

Finally a real alternative in LA for audio professionals. Knowledgeable, never pushing to buy, always willing to help. Their setup is pretty cool too. Different demo rooms to actually listen to outboard / speakers. A pleasure to deal with. Very recommended.

Really great company which Ive come to trust. The new offices have multiple demo rooms in different sizes and shapes along with different acoustic treatment and monitoring systems to help you figure out what gear might work in your studio.
