They were $650 under shops on Bell road and $900 under happy valley shops, in the end they even beat their own price, quoted me $350 and fixed it for $150, thank you Tony, you guys are the best!

Cane here to have my wifes van fixed and they proved not all aamco locations are the same as they stand above the rest we had issues with another location not honoring the warranty only two months after working on it but this location handled the issues under warranty and did so quickly and professionally.

My fiance has been going here for years at first we didnt have any issues we have boughten a used truck a 2004 Yukon the transmission went out. We took our truck to Aamco they told us that the transmission needs to be rebuilt so after having that work done along with other work done on our truck with everything that we pay it out we have had to take our truck there over five times now and were still having issues with their transmission this is the only vehicle that we have. We are not sure what to do as we cant afford to get another rental vehicle to have our vehicle sitting at the shop again. The vehicle is used for our sons doctors appointments and getting to and from work we dont hot rod it we dont even go for really long drives. Our truck was just there less than a month ago and our transmission is having issues again after being fully rebuilt and having Parts replaced again after the transmission went out the last time.

People are very bad customer service. It’s just like being at the DMV or a government office would not recommend it.

I am a Marine veteran and was referred here by another Marine vet. I have had my two vehicles worked on by them, a 2012 Chevy impala and 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi 4x4. I have had the cracked engine mounts fixed, oil change, a/c lines replaced and recharged as well as a transmission flush. After the transmission flush, my transmission pan leaked. I brought it up to them and they had me in the next morning to fix it for free. Each job has been quick and done well. They have also driven me home multiple times, which means a lot because I live about 25 Minutes away. They are veteran friendly and are very professional and respectful and knowledgeable. My boyfriend, who has been taking his vehicle to Dave’s Car Care, a mile down the road, for years, said that he will be taking his vehicle here from now on because of the kind of service they provide. Well done guys!

I went in because I felt I needed major work on my pathfinder, they inspected the car and found nothing and didnt charge anything. They saved me money when most shops wouldve tried to take my money anyways. I was very pleased with their service and honesty. I will definitely bring my cars here from now on.

Tony & the team here at Aamco are super friendly and did a great job on my AC in my car. Took a little bit of time, but it is so worth it because they did an amazing job. Wow, what an amazing experience I had at this Aamco location! I had recently purchased a 2007 Chevy pickup truck from a small dealership and in a month after purchasing this vehicle my transmission was not shifting properly. I couldnt take my truck back to the dealership because I had passed my 500 mile warranty. (UGH) *I went to an automotive shop and they referred me to AAMCO. Ladies and gentlemen! Let me tell you something! My truck is my job. Without it, I dont make money.So now I am at 51st ave and Glendale AAMCO. I talked to Stephanie and Justin about my transmission on my truck. Theses two calmed my nerves down in minutes! No joke here! I was stressed. The knowledge, customer service and professionalism I experienced here is above and beyond! I took my car in Monday, because I was concerned about the transmission. After spending a few hours there (for which I was totally prepared to do). It was discovered I need to have the transmission rebuilt. Justin said it was good I came in when I did instead of waiting or it could have caused more damage. It took a few days to get the job completed and Justin kept in touch with me to let know the progress. Today I was finally able to get my car. They did an awesome job. My car has more pick up and go then it did before. I have been going to this location for over 5 years and what is great about this place as a women they do not try and take advantage of you. They are straightforward and letting you know what needs to be done and they do not try to get you to do work that is not necessary or needs to be done. They are honest and reliable. We have been going to this AAMCO for years. Weve had from everything from a simple oil change to a rebuild and installation of a transmission. Kurt and his crew have always gone over and beyond to take care of me. Especially Justin and Stephanie. Monday our car broke down and we had it towed to Aamco (first off we had to call them to make sure we could and it was no problem) but our tire seared off the screws that bolts the tire to the car and the tire popped off. We excepted more damage and a hefty price to pay to fix it but they called us saying they just needed to replace the bolts and screws and everything else was okay even though we landed on the rotor. Best news we could’ve heard. They took care of us and had great customer service. Definitely have our future business no matter what! Tony helped us out!

Kurt, Manny, and all of the other gentlemen working here at Aamco are absolutely amazing. Ive brought 2 of my vehicles here, and they were professional and upfront about repair costs (parts and labor) both times. They also offer a financing option for the repairs- which I would have been lost without. Having that made fixing my major repair affordable. They do great work, and complete it quickly despite having a huge workload (because theyre good at what they do!). Theyve even gone above and beyond their basic job description by helping me out when my car was running rough, and stalling. I merely asked them to check the codes, and what I ended up getting was a cleaning of some vital parts in my engine at no cost. It wasnt a lot of work, but their time is valuable and Im incredibly thankful for such a small gesture from these guys. Now my beast of a car is back in shape- and running better than Id have ever imagined!Beyond their mechanical service, they all have great personalities that dont make you feel like just a customer. Every interaction Ive seen between the customer and Kurt or Manny has been incredibly personable. They have definitely spent some time building trust and relationships with each person. This shop is great!!! They were really nice and helpful and even gave me a burger and soda for while I waited. I took my van there at 9am and they didnt start working on it tell 2 and then tried to tell me it would cost around $470 for the front brakes and rotor and then tell me that i need a brake booster that would cost me like $500. When i can get all of that fixed somewhere else for like $60 for brakes and rotor cause i have a warranty on them and the brake booster is $140 for the part

Hands down this is the best place In town. Justin really knows is stuff. I recently purchased a 2010 mustang used and within 2 months it had transmission problems. With Justins expertise he was able to advocate on my behalf and have my transmission replaced.

I was having trouble with my A/C so I stopped in on a hot Wednesday afternoon to see if I could get some help. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. They changed my air filter and topped off my coolant. Pricing was very fair as well. I left in just under an hour. I will definitely be returning for any future car needs.

Well my experience from the moment I called for general questions to when i received my car after work had been done, has been amazing! The customer service is beyond what I expected, the guys here will go the extra mile to ensure their valued customers are well taken care of along with the work they do. I would recommend this shop to everyone I know. My car needed a new catalytic converter and an exshaut manifold, my car ran poorly and sounded like a tractor. However now it runs so much better, thanks to Kurt and his team!

My 2005 Chevy has just over 130k on it so when my transmission started slipping I knew what was in store. What I didnt know was it could be better than new. Wow! Very honest with me! I thought I was looking at transmission fluid or at least my boyfriend thought I was. I brought the car and they did a mechanical inspection and they come outside of your car looks immaculate and clean and nothing is wrong with it. It just said I probably ran over something. This was my first visit to AAMCO. I recently moved here from Ohio and finding a great and honest car mechanic shop is difficult to find. I read the previous reviews for this location, and am SO glad I decided to take my car in here. I had some suspension issues and needed an oil change. Justin and the techs were so helpful with discussing options and pricing for the strut mounts that needed replaced, along with the oil change. This will be the only place I take my car from here on out, and any future cars I have. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Ive been to and personally know a lot of mechanic shops and these guys here namely Justin, Kurt and Bert in the front office are the most professional and customer orientated people Ive met at a shop. Ive known Justin over the years just from him working on mine and my girlfriends cars at his previous job. When I had found out he relocated to AAMCO I immediately knew where I was going for my next oil change. When that day came I called over to Justin and he fit me in their schedule that same day. My experience as a new customer was stress free and completely comfortable. Kurt and Bert introduced themselves and were very professional. I also have to give credit to the people working under the hood. They had my car in and out in a timely matter and relayed to Justin everything they thoroughly checked on my vehicle. I have been taking my vehicle to the Glendale AAMCO for several years now and I have never been disappointed with their service. The employees are incredibly efficient, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. I have only taken my Explorer to another mechanic once because I believed it to be cost effective. Only 2 months later, Glendale AAMCO had to repair the damage the “repairs” had caused and they did so for a very reasonable price. I have referred several people to this particular shop and I hear the same comments from each of them.

We started going here 2 years ago when we needed our transfer case replaced. They work very well with extended warranty companies. Fast, Friendly service. They have a mom and pop feel. They give HONEST feedback on repair work and price quotes. We highly recommend them for the basic car care of oil changes to replacing of transfer cases.

Kurt was awesome at getting my vehicle in, even stayed late for the tow truck. Helped me find a good replacement engine and worked quickly. Every day I would get an update from one of the guys. Experience was so good I am taking my second vehicle to them.

Have taken my vehicles here a few times and Justin Evans and his team have done a awesome job every time. They always go the extra mile. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will continue to do business with them.

Only place to get any service done. The mechanics are always honest and upfront with what really needs to be done and what can wait. Just recently bought a bmw and just putting air in tires can be expensive when buying a said luxury vehicle so when the dash lights came on I was nervous but they took their time and found the issue and it wasn’t even bad. Most shops I have been to would charge you an arm and leg and just clear the lights but not this place. Will be my only place I trust to bring my vehicle to in the future.

Update: Went back with a/c issues on my F-150 and received first class service again! Justin at the front is on top of everything and kept me informed the whole way. They far exceed expectations.After getting nickel and dimed somewhere else, AAMCO was a breath of fresh air. Free inspection and open communication about what was going on. Justin and Stephanie were especially friendly. Great work at honest prices. They are now my first call for any future repairs.

Justin and Stephanie were so helpful. We got stranded halfway home and Justin was so honest about the warranties and ways to save money. I feel like that gave us a clear understanding of the situation and it allowed us to make better informed decisions. He even called an awesome tow truck from Bravos Towing Company. While we waited on the inspection and the tow truck, Stephanie from the front desk made us feel so welcomed. They gave us water and she even entertained my toddler for a bit. It also helps that this Aamco is open later than the other ones around. I will recommend this Aamco.

If i could have given this company more than 5 stars i would have! AAMCO didnt make a dime off me, yet they saved me from spending over $500.00 (up to $1,400.00). I originally took my car into Tobias in Cave Creek; I had red fluid that had been leaking from the under carriage; Tobias quoted me $500 to replace my water pump & $200.00 for an oil change + removing/replacing corroded wires to my battery (these items they recommended taking care of as soon as possible)... in addition to that $700.00 charge for items requiring immediate attention,Tobias recommended that I look at replacing a leaky shock and a few other items down the road- the total bill coming to roughly $1,400.00. I had a family member advise me to call AAMCO on 7105 N. 51st Ave (regardless that they were far away, i was told it would be worth the drive). I thought before i make the drive, i would call and speak to a rep; after speaking with Kurt Larson, he advised me to call and find out if my water pump was under warranty... he also told me if by chance it wasnt he would beat the price quoted to me by Tobias. Kurt also advised me that the other items were fluff charges that Tobias was adding on in effort to make a bigger buck. Well everything Kurt told me was true... I took my car into Scottsdale Ford and YES, my water pump was under warranty... AND, on top of that, the Ford dealership inspected my vehicle for the other issues Tobias has mentioned needed replacing/fixing and they didnt find any of the mentioned issues. Thanks to the honesty and ethics of AAMCO Transmission off 51st Ave, I didnt have to spend a dime. If i ever have any other issues with my vehicle, this is where i am bringing it! Im super grateful for the advice they gave me!!!! Beyond words- THANK YOU AAMCO!

The best customer service experience of my life. This place is very trustworthy I had transmission issues and got my car towed to some discount transmission shop who wanted to charge me hundreds if not thousands to fix my car but then I made a choice to call AAMCO and let me tell you they took care of me like I had been going there for years. AAMCO only charged me the towing fee my car went from not shifting gears to driving just fine. Thank you so much.

This was the second time I have been to this location. Justin and Stephanie both were very friendly and honest about the repairs I needed. The cost was exactly what they said it would be, with no surprises, and I am extremely satisfied. Justin ran my plate as I entered the parking lot and called me by name as I walked in. Who does that?? AAMCO, thats who!

Customer service was great. Ive had issues with my 07 Chevy Silverado transmission over the last 3 yrs. However, I feel my transmission troubles are over. Job well done guys. Special thanks to Justin and Stephanie on 51av and Glendale.
