Well I got my first tattoo here. We went over details and everything more than once, in which I loved. The tattoo itself is great and exactly what i wanted but it wasn’t until it was over I realized they used the wrong color ink. I specifically stated I wanted my tattoo to be all red ink. I guess my artist wasn’t relayed the message from the lady in the front, neither did he confirm. Overall, I cried about it because I’m upset it’s the wrong color. But it still looks nice .

I had an incredible experience here! Everyone was absolutely lovely but especially my tattoo artist, Chelsie. In getting my first tattoo, I was incredibly nervous (I have needle issues) and she was so patient and kind and fun and helped take my mind of my anxieties. The work she did is immaculate and I could not imagine a better experience getting a tattoo. I would recommend this place to everyone and 10/10 the entire experience was amazing.

Wasn’t a pleasant first experience. My piercer, mike, didn’t talk to me at all about anything. Once I gave my info, he called me over and just told me to sit down. Proceeded to gather all his piercing equipment and what not. Then just marked me up on my nose. Didn’t give me a run down, I didn’t even get to pick my jewelry. I had called before going in to ask if they had jewelry I can pick from and they said yes. But I got there and I wasn’t given any jewelry option. Before he pierced me I asked if I was gonna pick my stud and he said no he just has a basic studs and that he didn’t have any other ones. After he pierced me, didn’t talk to me again about the aftercare or anything, just said “alright all done are you gonna pay cash or card?” I paid & all he did was give me a paper with aftercare instructions & that was it. Pretty bad first experience for getting my nose pierced. I paid $60 as well. Not worth $60 for the experience.

Got my ears professionally pierced. I say professionally because Ive pierced my own in the past and it wasnt too pleasant. This was a pleasant surprise because not only did it not hurt but it they also never STARTED hurting afterwards. I was shown the sterile equipment before anything was done and also received great advice on aftercare. Very happy with my piercings and looking forward on getting some ink done here as well.

Chelsie Vannoordt is an amazing artist! She designed and did my first tattoo. I was so happy with the outcome, that I went back for a second. You really will not be disappointed with her work. She is very light-handed....honestly, I could hardly feel it! Im sure Ill be back to see her again!

If you want anything pierced besides you’re ears then you should 100% go to Claudia from Skin Deep because she is amazing she’s been doing it for 20+ years and her knowledge and technique is so amazing. She genuinely cares and keeps up with me. Seeing how i’m healing. love her.

I’m in California visiting from Washington but if I was from here I would come to Claudia for all my piercings. This lovely lady knows what she’s doing! She’s quick, cool as heck, and precise. I just loved her vibe and the work she did. We called SUPER last minute for a group of us to get piercings and she took us no problem!It was cool because I got a double lobe piercing and am used to having to “heal” with silver or titanium. Girl, Claudia whooped out ALL the gold options and I was just loving it! Super satisfied!!!

Came here as a walk in and couldnt be happier. KD took great care of both me and my bff. I got my helix pierced on my ear and my bff got her septum. Its been a week and theyre both beautiful and healing nicely. Worth the trip!

So so unfortunate that this woman owned business publicly body shames other women. Chelsea Taylor is such a rude, condescending, and overall unintelligent person that has no social grace whatsoever! I hope no one has to suffer one of her scratchy and shaky tattoos again.

Went to Skin Deep Tattoo and Piercing to get a tat and it was an awesome experience. the place was clean, the staff was awesome made it enjoyable to be there, they take the COVID 19 procedures seriously. The tattoo artist Marlon was great and he took his time with me to come up with an amazing tat and it came out above my expectations, he was amazing and I can wait to go back and get another one from Marlon

Honestly never have I ever been in such a good environment while getting tattooed/pierced. Everyone was so friendly and approachable, even for being busy. I got put with Marlon and he was an absolute DOLL an amazingly light handed and talented artist. I adored his line work and how patient he was with me. I would recommend this to everyone I know, especially if you’re looking for a good place to get your first tattoo.

As a weenie that passes out from any type of needle I was fully prepared to hit the floor getting my first tattoo here. As soon as I started to lose consciousness the employees went full pit crew, swarming me and making sure I didnt fall/black out. After my recovery they finished the tattoo and I couldnt be more excited about the results. Duck with knife tattoo 10/10, Rescue team 20/10

Ok, so I’ve come here before (about a year ago) so made sense to head back......SO GLAD I DID! Bruce wasn’t there but Marlon was just AMAZING! the price for the work I got done was excellent! He has a light touch and pays attention to ALL detail. My mom is in his chair as we speak!!!! The shop employees enjoy laughter, they’re friendly but very professional and CLEAN!!! Me and mom are already planning our next trip in a few months!

April Hernandez is an amazing piercer. We came in for earlobe piercing. She went through every step of the process with my 7 year old (who asked a LOT of questions) and made her feel comfortable. She wasnt happy with the placeholder dots until they were absolutely perfect. Then after she finished, she checked the front and the back to make sure they were absolutely straight and even. She doesnt just do ears, we saw lots of examples of her past work and all were beautiful. I highly recommend her to you for all your piercing needs!

I went in last night and got my nose pierced and the owner did a great job! He did it so quick and easy. I did not feel a thing and he as long hooked it up! Highly recommend if getting a piercing!

I made the biggest mistake going to this place. I live in Chicago and while on vacation I visited Rich Custom Tattoo. First, he rescheduled the first appointment and given I was on vacation, it was an inconvenience and did not have time to return several days later for questions. When I returned to Chicago I realized something was wrong. I visited several experienced artiste and all coincided that the artist who did the tattoos, a dragon on my right shoulder and a half moon on the left shoulder, had used too much force and ink.They said he forced too much ink an it was a reaction and too much scar. The ink did not attached, so the skin is clear. I returned a couple of weeks ago and visited him. He gave me an appointment and when I got to the shop there was a sign sating it had been a family emergency. I understand the circumstances, but at least a phone call to make me aware and avoid the trip was the least Rich could have done.I will think twice before going back to this place or recommend him to someone. I learned my lesson in a bad way.

Best tattoo shop Ive ever been to. Been to alot of different joints to get work done but was never a fan. Found this place & feel I found my shop for more future ink. Staff, quality, vibe....great. Already planning next one.See u soon Bruce

Excellent experience! I walked in, got 3 piercings with Doug, who is awesome in every way! Talked me through everything, showed me everything he was using, and it was ALL sterile and packaged. A very relaxing experience, and great service!

@dougdelamuerte did my half sleeve over the course of a few months. And honestly the attention to detail was amazing. By far the one thing I constantly get told is THOSE LINES.I gave him a very general idea of what I wanted and the results are phenomenal. His artistic creativity is just wow.And if there was a sizing or placement issue or I wanted to change he would be more than happy to do so and had great insight.He is prideful artist and mastering his craft.Bruce has been there most of my sessions and honestly just giving them an oppeetunity to y’all conversation can go philosophical and even rudimentary like what comics you read. This shop has amazing and talented artist working there, and given the opportunity you will feel like you are sitting down with longtime friends.I can’t express how relaxed and considerate they are.

Doug is AMAZING! Ive gotten 2 dermal implants and a septum piercing by him. The septum has not hurt since the moment he put it in! Im amazed! So many people experience pain for months from improper placement. Also, my implants are perfect too. He is detailed and funny. I was relaxed. Ill definetely recommend him to friends. I was very uneasy at first (not because of the vibe or place but because I am extremely selective and become anxious) I was honestly kind of bracing myself for disappointment in not having an artist to understand the image and symbolism I was trying to convey with this tattoo;Rich nailed it. Rich was very patient, understanding and listened while also giving his insight and completely honest opinion. I have been there several times. The shop is clean and the people are talented and friendly.

Rich is a really sweet guy but he messed up my tattoo. It was meant to be a thin outlined tat instead I got a thick black messy blob. My friend was meant to get a nice tat on her leg and he could only do half and totally messed her up badly! Her leg got infected by the out of date numbing spray he gave her.If I were you stick to simple small tattoos dont ask for anything with detail cuz it wont come out nice. Good luck

Went to see Bruce today! Me and my mom got matching tats for her bday! It was her first one and she left floating on cloud 9 and plotting on her one!!! I love my new ink and I will surely be back to get more. Bruce can always get my tat money! Lol Hreat shop and awesome job! Very welcoming too!
