The head of the Service Department Michael was extremely rude, at first refusing to give me a loaner car or rental for the time my Chevy Bolt, which I have been driving for months with the danger of it catching fire, would be at the shop having the new battery installed. He said I had not requested it, but finally agreed to loan me a car since I had the email printed out from Chevy that I could have one. Michael repeatedly told me thousands of people need this battery, and that I did not deserve any special treatment. When my battery first arrived, he threatened to give my battery I had ordered to someone else if I didnt get over to the dealer in 24 hours. When I first called to order the battery after I received the notice that my particular Bolt was in the highest risk group for spontaneous combustion, he said thousands of people need the battery, I cant just get one for you but then finally agreed to order it. Over and over it felt as if he were blaming me for the dangerous defect in my car battery. His attitude implied I should just put up and shut up. This is outrageous, at a time when Chevy should be apologizing to customers for putting them in this situation: for months parking our cars away from our homes so we dont burn our houses down, fearing to drive long distances requiring long charging times.HOWEVER the service by ALBERTO GUZMAN was EXCELLENT. He was supportive, helpful, straightforward and seemed to really care about making sure my car was fixed quickly and safely. Alberto called to tell me my car servicing would actually be finished one day earlier than estimated. It seems to me Alberto Guzman would be a terrific new head for the Service Department!
I was so impressed with everyone in the service department. They took really good care of me. Alberto was knowledgable and friendly. I loved that he had all the answers to my Volt questions. He opened the hood and showed me areas that were of concern. The team turned my car around in the time they estimated. I did not stand in line and was glad my appointment time was respected and met. Everything was clean in the office and the service entry. My paperwork and payment were processed immediately. I left with a smile on my face saying WOW!
The person who attended me was very kind at all times and very professional, he explained everything about my pickup truck, I definitely give it 5 stars.
Erick was excellent and very professional. Very pleased with your service department. Thank you.
Great inventory. Great customer service. Maria Teresa was knowledgeable about the cars and was able to answer all of our questions... The reason for 4 stars, financing took a long long time. We were the only people there. Ive worked at car dealerships b4 and financing always takes a while, but when you have Great credit and cash, things should move a lot faster and it didnt.Overall it was a good experience and would go back.
I was interested in getting a Chevy Bolt LT. Went to the dealership to try out the electric car for the first time. Maria Smith (salesperson) showed me what I wanted and we went for a test drive. She was very nice to talk with and took care of all the buying process. I asked if they can give me a good deal for my trade-in and for the Bolt. They gave me a really good offer and Im very happy with it. Been driving the Bolt for the past week and I love it.
This family owned dealership has been my family’s go to for vehicles for over 25 years. We will continue to support and recommend their service and sales! Keep up the great work! Thank you Maria in the sales department for making our most recent Traverse purchase so smooth and fun.
My service rep, Albert, took great care of me! He got me a loaner car, as we have two little toddlers and only one car. It was thoughtful and helped us tremendously. Also, Lawrence always made me feel comfortable and greeted me with a smile. I will definitely be back and recommend their service department.
Its been a while since Ive been at the dealership for service. I had to get a new key and have it reprogrammed. The process was quick and easy and included the time to get an oil change and a multi-point inspection done. I was out of there within an hour and a half. Erick Cea is a great service advisor and does his best to take care of you as a customer! I highly recommend him.
I got a call that they finally had Tahoe’s in stock. It’s not everything that I wanted but decided I would go and see what kind of deal I could get. Gio and Mo we’re Fantastic!!! I’m not an easy sale. I know what I want and my price I’m willing to pay. I pushed and pushed and pushed. And guess what. I got a great deal. And then couldn’t compromise on some of the missing features. At 61K the car needs to have what I want. I can’t thank these two enough for trying and fighting for me. They were kind and worked on my behalf. While I didn’t end up with a car today I would go back in a heartbeat for how they treated me today, worked with me and were respectful. A great dealership that is willing to earn your business.
It was good. Dropping it off was fast and easy. Little problem with getting a call its ready and picking up, but that was quickly solved. I guess you guys changed systems and so my cars old owner info was moved to new system and not mine. They quickly found the problem changed the info and got me back home.
Best service center ever! Very knowledgeable, Alberto helped me a lot. Thank you!
Never been more scared of the fact that i bought something here. Since buying my Colorado I’ve had my trailer package installed incomplete. I’ve had my trailer braking system wired literally backwards. And now when i call them to ask about my warranty i wait 3 days for a call back to be treated awful. Absolute worst service from top to bottom! Do not use this place you will regret it
They treated me real good. And made the buying process really easy. Thank you to everyone who helped me.
Harry is an exceptional salesman. From the moment we interacted to the delivery of my new Bolt, to his phone follow up after it was in my driveway; he was a true professional and a caring person. Its never easy to make big financial decisions, but his knowhow and informative, no pressure approach, and his keen sense of the customers concerns keeps the emotions at bay and the joy of acquiring a new car truly that, a joy.
I took my 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71 for a front axle gasket leak. Service guy Alberto Guzman help me out. His mechanic washed and cleaned it from the bottom to makes sure were the leaking was coming from. He replaced the gasket and filled up the transmission fluid. Very happy with the work that was done to my truck.
I went for an oil change was there at 1030am and I was told my car will be approx 12noon ready because they were 3 cars ahead of me. 12:10, 12:20, and I saw my car park just I was entering to the office to check the status on my car and I was told that the person who was helping me was out to lunch and I will need to wait until he comes back to check if service was done because there was no note and system was down and they were not sure if service was done. I told them no one text me or came up to me to inform me on the status of my car and all this time I been waiting at the lobby. I told them I need to leave I work at 1pm and if the service was not done I need my keys now. Suddenly their system was working again and they told me that the service was done but not the paper work that they are preparing for paperwork to just go and PAY at the cashier..I go up to the cashier and shes asking me questions mentioning that my paperwork was not ready and if it was okay she could take someone else on line. I told her NO, I need to leave and it was already 1240pm..I ask her can you go and check and she said the paperwork has is not showing on my computer and I keep on asking her go and check go and check .Until finally it was upload and was given my papers..Bad experience from everyone.Dont recommend this place at all. This is the second incident I have with them, I try to give them a second chance but no regret after regret..👎
I purchased my Chevy Bolt here 4 months ago. I moved to Pennsylvania right after purchasing the vehicle and needed documentation from the dealership to register my vehicle. Ive been trying to reach them for 2 months and we are constantly told they will call us back. Our registration in California expires in 2 weeks and I cant register the vehicle without the documentation. Terrible customer service. Dont purchase your car here.
I have appointment 2 pm I arrived 1.30 pm for an oil change they gave me the car at 5 pm is too long without diagnosis nothing. Previously it was not like that. They told him that I needed the car even though I told them that the car had a strange vibration, the attention was zero.It is to fair to me that they give you 3 hours in a room for just an oil change is too much time
I went to this dealership knowing I need a car. I expressed that to my car salesman, AMIR. He was phenomenal to say the least. He really worked with me from the type of car I was looking for and price I had set at. He was very nice, friendly, understanding, and definitely knowledgeable about what he does. I dont understand why he is not a manager of the place yet. He even told me how to use a lot of the features in the car. So, yes, I definitely highly recommend him to anybody. As for the finance department guy (forgot his name). But he started out friendly and good to talk to. But once he slipped me the paper for the warranty about the tires/wheel coverage and I rejected it, he just wanted to get us out of there suddenly.I would of given this dealership a 5 star, but the finance department guy for reason being.
The sales representative Alexander at Allen Gwynn Chevrolet is extremely helpful to find a suitable car for my family needs. He is very patient and understanding and went above and beyond to make sure we are fully satisfied with vehicle chosen. We highly recommend the Allen Gwynn, Glendale and particularly Alexandar any day. You would not be disappointed.
I worked with John on getting a new Traverse. He and his team were amazing. The process was smooth. I didnt feel pressured. They helped me understand everything. Helped me set up my onstar account and the my Chevy app. I left feeling confident in my lease. Thank you John for amazing customer service. I appreciate you and your team.
Best car buying experience ever!!! My wife and I were treated with the upmost respect and were provided a refreshing dose of ultimate customer service. We will 100% be returning for our next vehicle purchase. Thank you!
Horrible service, horrible attitude. You buy a 60k car and they treat you like you owe them something. Avoid at all cost.
Adrik was very friendly and helpful. I never had such a great experience with a dealership before. He explained all the details and answered questions with passion and in detail. He didnt even let me get bored.
The experience was for the most part, really great. This was a recall from GM. Your service department took very good care of the vehicle. The only criticism I would have as that upon intake at the vehicle inspection, your service guy looked at my car and noted several”scratches” which were marked on the intake form. I pointed out that there were no scratches on the car and that in fact what appeared to be scratches were actually dirt splashes which can be easily removed with a cleaning and can also be easily detected by swiping with a finger across the said splashes. This is something that should be addressed as lazy intake. Thes inspection should be thorough but also correct.
Got the job done; always polite and accommodating;
UPDATE: After posting the negative review below, I was quickly contacted by the dealership and the needed part was delivered to my house on the same morning. Bumping up to two stars. At the end of the day, it still took two months, two visits, several calls, and a negative review to resolve an issue that should have been fixed within the week. But I do appreciate Allen Gwynn Chevrolet finally making this right. Leaving the original review below unaltered for context.-------------------This is a review for service, not sales. I received my Volt back after a window replacement (more expensive and slower than elsewhere, but the work is fine) and discovered a piece of interior trim missing. I noticed it immediately and pointed it out while still at the dealership. The service rep, Patrick, acknowledged the damage. He said he would order a replacement part. The next day I received a call to come in and pick up the replacement part, so I took time off from work for the second day in a row to visit Allen Gwynn Chevrolet... but it was the wrong part. This time Patrick said he would order the correct part and bring it to me at home. A nice offer, which I accepted. Unfortunately it is now two months later and despite a number of attempts on my part I have been unable to get through to Patrick or receive the part of my car that this service department lost while it was in their care.Do yourself a favor: take your car somewhere else. These guys wont respect your time, your wallet, or your vehicle. If you do seek service here, be prepared to spend a few hours of your life on hold over the phone. Three out of four times they will drop the call without picking up after youve been listening to their hold music for 20+ minutes. What a bad experience!
The Customer Service was very good and the people were pretty friendly. The service took just about as long as estimated which was very helpful as I had to get to work. The process was very efficient and the space for waiting was comfortable. It was a very pleasant experience.
Quick, efficient, did not push unnecessary products or services. Communicated needs for next service visit. Very professional.
Eric always gives us great service. Very friendly and reliable and he takes the time to explain everything.
Paul Abeyta is a superb salesman. In that he’s patient, knowledgeable, he listens and never pressures. Highly recommend him
From the service department, sales, and finance department, I have no complaints at all!Had most of the times great advice but mostly awesome services for my old car; the salesman supports me and guides me toward the purchase of my new car, no hidden fees, nor false promises (which, I love it!); and it was a pleasure to see a familiar face after seven years of the purchase of my old car at the finance department, right away, I knew I was in good hands.Thank you!
Overall it was a good experience. I appreciated how attentive Maria Teresa was with my and my fiancé . I can be very annoying haha. The process was simple and the price presented was very respectable. Thank you for your help and Im very happy with my purchase.
The worst service of my life. Do not go here. I was lied to and they stole my money. General Manager Michael disrespected me to my face saying my business there for over 5 years did not matter to him at all and he did not care if they lost a customer… Look at all the other reviews saying the same, do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.
Everything worked out great! I was able to wait at the dealer for my car. It was finished in less than an hour. The saga of the recall is finally closed.
Mr Paul Abeyta he is the best! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth he goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help me as much possible. I had a wonderful Experience purchasing. Paul found the exact car I wanted with excellent costumer service and attention- to detail. I highly recommend this dealer ship.Paul Thanks again for the great help!Afeworek Meshesha
Patrick The guy who received me is a very nice and kind guy, a polite person, but the manager of the service is a very rude person. The arrogant service manager spoke disrespectfully to me did not treat me at all while I was talking to him turned his back and went talking disrespectfully, I have never seen in my life an arrogant person, spoke disparagingly as if I owe him something shameful to such a manager in this garage I suggest He should approach there at all and be careful he is a dishonest person at allAnd they damage my rim, and did not take Responsibility.Update what happenedI went to the car dealership following a noise I heard in the front, and after the vehicle stayed with them for three days, I called them to check what was going on they said everything was fine and the noise I hear from the car is fine and thats okay Another dealership checked if it is OK, unfortunately they said it is not OK and they will replace the caliper of the brake housing, if I had agreed with them I could have had an accident as it was not safe at all, following this experience I am very disappointed with the service of the manager and staff who are not Profession I think because they let me drive a bad car.Im very disappointed
We had a very bad experience in this dealership, not only they didnt take care of our cars problem they even lied to us just because it was under warranty and we didnt have to pay so they didnt want to fix it. Dont trust them even the manager Michael.
My experience was great! Danny the sales manager really helped me out as always! Every time I call him needing help with my car he is always there for me and makes the process fast and easy. He has been my go-to car guy for years now, wouldnt go to anyone else! Ive already recommended him to my friends and family members. A big thanks to him again!
Just bought a used truck private party on Tuesday. Thursday it developed a shudder. Driving 200+ miles next day for State Guard Drill over the weekend. Called up another dealership and left a voice mail (still havent gone back), drove there only to be turned away. Called up Allen Gwynn and they said I could bring it in without an appointment, they would make an exception. They determined it was a transmission issue from the test drive but didnt know from what and would see about getting me into a loaner truck in the morning. Next morning, got the loaner, was ready to drive off when they figured out and fixed the problem. Will continue doing business with Allen Gwynn, their level of service has earned a customer for life.
I took my car for service and they dont even explained what service they provided came back for an estimate to give one more chance but still bad service. Go somewhere else dont waist your time.
I was shocked by the way Michael—the general manager of the service department—treated customers. We could hear him loudly yelling at employees from his office, and when we needed to speak to him to resolve a billing issue, he was rude, dismissive, and told us he “really didn’t care if he lost our business.”We will never return to this dealership for future sales nor services.
Although it took me a lot longer than I expected, the agent that I worked with was extremely helpful and got me a great deal.
Really good deal online, took a little convincing to believe in person but no hassle once we showed the web page.Salesperson didnt take us seriously until we told him to run the numbers and saw our income, but I guess thats expected at a dealer.Overall, about what i expect from a dealer, not better or worse
Got a chevy silverado no more then 7 months got messed up, now Im buying a new motor and still making payments.. smh 🤔
Very nice tech service support
6 days to replace a steering rod! Why can’t you schedule cars and schedule technicians more professionally and efficiently. And you’re totally unapologetic and non-communicative. This is my last Chevy if this is how you service a brand new car. Truly disgraceful.
Never got the estimate i asked for regarding my spoiler. Was told i would either get a call or an email, got niether.
My hubby got the car he wanted! After almost two weeks of...lets make a deal. Joseph is a cool n calm man to deal with. Drove home after 3 hrs of signing paperwork with a new vehicle.
The service on my truck went well. The wait for my service was extensive. I waited in the outdoor waiting area for 2 1/2 hours!
This review is for the service department. Service advisor Patrick is amazing. I was extremely hesitant in taking my car in to any dealership because not every dealership has Corvette techs, but Patrick Confirm not only do they have several Corvette text, but also have World class certified mechanics. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable, Comforting, explained what will happen and delivered on the promise. He communicated throughout the repair and everything was perfect. The only reason I would come back to the dealership is because of Patrick.
Great service, worked hard to get the service done as quickly as possible. The only thing that I would suggest is that the service advisor makes an effort to familiarize himself/herself with the service history for return customers.
I replaced the worn out shock absorbers on my 2014 Corvette Stingray with used, low mileage (1,700 miles) ones. My service advisor, Erick Cea, did an excellent job of determining that the shocks, with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, were the exact ones that I needed. He checked the part numbers thoroughly. They work perfectly and Im very happy!
From the moment I made an appt. with Tom Pina, there was perfect correspondence. When I arrived a wonderfully kind gentleman named, Lawrence, was so helpful. Escorting me in and taking me directly to my service rep, Patrick. Where my experience was all very professional. They were generous to let me borrow a nice Chevy Volt, a woman named Valerie was wonderful escorting me to the loaner. Car was ready quickly and I am so happy with my experience
Arto was helpful and very friendly. I did not spend more than 3 hours here which was very nice.
I love this dealership it is well ran and the employees are the greatest! Thanks again!
This is by far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I reached out to Donny at Allen Gwynn Chevrolet. He quoted me a price in a very timely manner. I just filled out everything on line and they delivered my car a few hours later. It was extremely professional which I have never experienced at any car dealership! The car arrived beautifully cleaned. I sign the paper work and was completely done in 15 minutes. Thank you Donny and Alex for an exceptional experience. I will certainly refer you to my friends!Cheers,Ann
Our Salesman was great at helping us get through the process he made it easy fast and made us feel comfortable.
I trust and have great confidence and level of security knowing I can bring my 2013 Tahoe LTZ to Allen Gwynn for any service and repairs. I greatly appreciate being able to talk with the OUTSTANDING Service Representatives such as Rick Gudino and trusting he will keep me informed about the status of my cars repairs.
Maria was our sales person and she was very nice, respectful and best of all patient.
I came in to look at a 2016 Silverado 2500HD with approximately 80,000 miles. I was set on probably buying this truck, but the 2021 2500HD caught my eye. My salesman and the sales manager were not in any way pushy...but they helped to educate me and see the value in INVESTING in the 2021 that has a full warranty. I bought the BRAND NEW 2021 SILVERADO 2500HD and I absolutely love the truck and enjoyed the process from start to finish. I have zero buyers remorse and we have already used the truck to pull my 38 travel trailer and it pulled it up the Grapevine with ease!!! I recommend Allen Gwynn Chevrolet as they are a no haggle and straight forward dealership.
It was excellent. Mr. Amir guided me through the buying process and tell me all the car options clearly. overall to be part of Allen Gwynn customer is amazing
My experience was excellent and customer service was outstanding. I appreciate how Brandon was very helpful and transparent on his sales.
After almost 25 years of buying and leasing cars here as a family, we are Done with this dealership. The service quality of both the sales and service departments has dwindled to below average, and to make matters more challenging, the quality of GM vehicles is also diminishing. After receiving a response from them to this review, I reached out to them, and of course, I have not heard back!
Came for a key fob to be made for my car, my key fob was old and buttons didnt always work. I showed my AAA card for my 10% discount and I updated my phone number. 2 hours later, I dont receive a message and they come to get me in the customer lounge where I was waiting. They claim they text me, it was the old number that I just updated. I went to the cashier and was charged full price without my AAA 10% discount. It was a Tuesday morning and didnt seem busy, but they managed to not update my info, took 2 hours to do a job they stated on the work order would take 10 minutes, and didnt provide me with the 10 percent discount I asked about.
I bought a Chevy Trax 21 at Rydell Chevy (highly recommend their dealership). Since this one was closer, I came to purchase a trunk tray. The parts dept representative asks me to go to another room to pay for it. After I pay for it, Im told to go back to the room from where I came from. The rep tells me itll be here by Thursday. At no point between the two rooms is it mentioned that its not in stock and is being ordered and Id have to pick it up. When I ask should thay have been something that was mentioned prior? the rep does not apologize, shrugs, and says maybe it can be here by Wednesday. I mention that the hours of 8am to 5pm make it very inconvenient for me to pick it up as I work during those times. Again, no apology and says, we can offer you a refund and you can pick it up at Los Feliz. Will not be returning here for any Chevy related needs. Again, my experience at Rydell was the complete opposite. Will be heading to Rydell now.
UPDATE:I appreciate you responding to my feedback. Unfortunately, there is no extension listed to get in direct contact with Tom Pina. After being on hold for 10 minutes, after 4 attempts of trying to get a hold him, I gave up. So, this shows that you really dont care about the situation. If you do want to have a discussion, please feel free to leave an extension and Ill call you promptly. Thank you, and have a nice day!I was told by the service advisor that windex or amor warped the driver side dash speaker cover. I guess he thinks im stupid and will believe anything.>>>
It was a very positive experience. The employee pricing made negotiating a price easy. There was no negotiating. I didnt have to go to war with the sales team to get a deal I felt good about.
I posted a negative review on Allen Gwinn Chevrolet earlier because my concerns were not being addressed or taken serious. I was dealt with an unfortunate situation that was not the dealers fault, and I let my frustration get the best of me. The Service Director Tom Pina has been incredible, along with Michael Leffler Service Drive Manager, and Patrick who have kept me updated, and have assured me that they will make sure that everything will be taken care of. Tom Pina has a great team in the service department, who understand what great customer service is, and theyve helped put me at ease and changed my perception of Allen Gwynn Chevrolet. Thank you Tom!!
Great positive experience in the service dept.Tom Pina and staff have always been courteous, friendly and have met are expectations during these challenging times.Thank you!!
Always professional and the process of purchasing a new vehicle is a smooth and painless at Allen Gwynn. Donny Reynolds is highly recommended. He goes over and beyond to deliver quality service and to ensure happiness of the buyer.
This was the best dealership experience I have had by far. This is the 5th Chevrolet vehicle I have purchased. Allen Gwynn is located about 1.5 hours away from me but they were the only dealership that came through for me in getting me the best absolute deal on my new Chevy Tahoe. None of my local dealerships offered the GM educators discount and Allen Gwynn did without a problem. The process was super easy and entirely online and through the telephone. The absolute cherry on top was that they delivered my vehicle to my house and spent the time showing me all of the cool features this vehicle has. I highly recommend them.
The customer service was greatAnd I very happy with my truck it has everything I was lucking for 👍🏻
Great customer service as usual. Service consultants are great especially Mr. Patrick.
Wonderful experience. Amir was great, saw Chevy Sonic 2013 on line it was still there, mileage was about on point, minor issues but for the price was great and worth it. Thank you Chevy people. I love my car!!!🙂🙂🙂 Merry Christmas to me😘😍
Work was completed on time within the estimated cost. Everyone was available to answer any questions we had. Special mention to Erick Cey who handled our service request personally.
I rate any place eith 5 stars when they deserve it.. the folks at Allen Gwynn are professional and treated me great... the employees are great and their technicians do great work.
When it comes to service, these guys take the cake for worst. It took them over 2 hrs for a multi point inspection (0.3 hrs) and oil change (0.4 hrs) ...an oil change. I have given these guys several chances thinking I might have come in on the wrong day. I made appointments just so i could avoid this. Not only that, they rarely text you that your vehicle is ready. I currently came in today and its past 2 hrs, I paid for the service just to find out that the technicians went out to lunch. Now Im sitting here waiting for them till they come back, which might be another hour...after this i think Ill be taking my services elsewhere. I doubt theyll care but at least I have options. This place needs to get their things in order.
Im sure they do a great job with changing oil and replacing filters, but if youre having any problems with your car programming or technology, youre better off going somewhere else. Any problem that involves explanation wont get fixed because they wont listen to you or theyll give you a solution that has nothing to do with the actual problem. My experience with the service team this morning is exactly why, as a young woman, I avoid taking my car in at all costs. The condescending and patronizing attitudes I was met with while trying to explain what was wrong led to neither of my problems being fixed. Out of the FOUR men that tried to help me, only one of them truly listened to me to understand the problem but was dismissed by a higher up, who then sent me on my way with none of my questions answered.
Took forever just to be seen on my actual appointment time and it took 2 hours just to change my oil.
They Have had my car for a week and I was promise a car upon my arrival once I arrived there were no cars but they said they would call me as soon as one became available. Needless to say the call never came and I had to borrow and rent a car my self. This particular location lacks customer service. Its not hard to take the last 5 mins of the day to return calls it lets the customer know your not forgotten and that you really are on top of your Job. Employees dont have pride in what they do any more at least not at (Allen Gwynn Chevrolet) of Glendale. I was referred to Allen Gwynn Chevrolet but I must say its not worth the headache. I will be returning to my original Rydell Chevrolet service department at least they give you upfront timelines and keep promises (car loaner).
Tom Pina Service Director, and everyone in the service department have been incredible. Thank you!!
I am writing this now since at the time there was no means to publicly express grievance.I took my 2002 Silverado to Allen Gwynn Chevrolet sometime in 2008 with a bad transmission.Service department told me they would try to cover it under warranty since the vehicle had very low miles but they needed to tear it apart first. After teardown, I was told sorry, I need to pay for the repairs. First red flag. After repairs I put the truck in storage for a few months since I had to go out of town. When I returned and put the truck back into service, the transmission very soon blew up again. Allen Gwynn Chevrolet again told me sorry, the repairs are out of warranty even though it had very few miles on it. Second red flag with this dealership.By now I no longer trust this dealership and took the truck to an independent shop who told me the parts that were broken were defective GM parts and repaired it with aftermarket parts. The transmission has been working perfectly for the last 13 years.Hopefully the unscrupulous management has improved with this establishment since then.Harold Beach
SERVICE at Allen Gwynn chevy has always been fabolous - well, the service department anyways. Theyre great, they do good work and everybodys always been straight with me. Ive never purchased a vehicle there. Ive never had a good car buying experience, anywhere, this is not a lie, but if I ever have to go through the agonizing process again, Id give these guys a try.
I was told the last time i got my oil change (at Allen Gwynn), they did not tighten the oil filter. This explained why my truck kept leaking oil and I had to keep replacing it. Then the service person kept saying I was wrong that Allen Gwynn could not have been the last place I brought it, then said I couldnt prove it was here because they didnt keep the old oil filter, to verify. I finally spoke to the manager, he confirmed Allen Gwynn was the last place I got oil change, confirming the error was theirs. He said he would talk to the service person. Of course, I am out the cost of having to replace the dripping oil and now have an oil leak stain in my driveway. At the least, they could have credited me the oil change or said next time it would be free, especially because I had over $1000 of other things done (Brakes, brake lines). I bought my truck from Allen Gwynn, and I have never been so disappointed, as I am now. I will most likely not be bringing it back.
Thank you Laurence you were very nice
Very friendly customer serivce.
This dealership has been amazing from the start. Everyone is very professional and extremely respectful. They truly go the extra mile for their clients.
I was very satisfied with their service
Amir is the best! He was super nice and helpful and made everything easy for me. Not only Amir all the staffs, managers and the gentleman who does the finance, really kind.I really appreciate them!
They said they car would be ready in a hour and 30 min. It took four hours and if someone had called to tell us it would have been better. I know these are tough times because of COVID. My entire was wrecked because of not getting a call.
I always go to Allen Gwynn, Michael and staff always take care of me. They are the best.
When you walk inside the service center, no one is assisting visitors. Everybody is working at their own station but no one greets anyone, they ignore you. Some man in the small corner office (inside the service center) began shouting across the office at another worker in the office: it was loud, rude, and disrespectful; and that should never happen anywhere, period; then, the other man shouted, too. No class, no respect, and unprofessional! In addition, when I went to pick up my car, after dropping it off for 2 hours, the service guy didnt even have the decency to go over the work they did on my car, he told me to, just go to the cashier, shell help you. They need to resolve many issues. Disappointing, discouraging, and negative experience. There was only one older man who was working hard moving cars and told me to wait; he seemed genuinely interested in helping me and he was the umbrella gentleman outside. They are a big diasappointment and do not strive for excellent customer service! The reply person should be in the office watching everything instead of using automatic replies. Such a shame.
Great service team
I recommend getting there an hour before they open dropping your car off with the key in the envelope and just leave....
We dealt with Allen Gwynn Chevy for our 3 year Bolt lease from 2017-2020. Any time we had to interact with them they were pleasant and things were always simple. Turning the car in was a breeze. Highly reccomend.
Good service, good price and friendly people
Typical dealership... they promise you the moon, and are really nice, but as soon as they see a less than stellar credit coming back, they couldn’t care less about you... they go for the numbers, so if it’s not an easy sell, they’ll rather move on than trying to help you out.Anyway, dodged a bullet because the lease of the Bolt EV is only worth it if you’re paying around 200-300 a month for it maximum and if you don’t drive much, which personally I would go way over the 10000 limit a year, and buying the car after the lease would be silly, the car will be worth nothing once the Tesla Model 3 is out !The bolt is nice but not $40k nice, sorry guys.
Eric is the best ( very kind, attentive and willing to show mechanics the video I took to know what kind of noise that only happened in free way, it is 2nd time I came and finally they drive on freeway and found the issue)I will tell all my friends to come this dealership to buy from here and get maintenance with excellent customer service from Eric!!!Thanks again Eric!!!
